Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tucker County

My husband and I had a very nice stay at Matt's home. It had a beautiful view of the mountains, a nice fireplace, and a warm space. We would definitely bring our dog and have another quiet weekend away.

So secluded and peaceful. We especially loved the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The view from the top level room was lovely. Only a short drive to Davis and the shops and hiking nearby.

Beautiful house well planned with bathrooms in all bedrooms. Very comfortable!!

This was the perfect spot for a honeymoon. The cabin was gorgeous and had some Christmas decor which was very festive. I’d recommend to anyone and would love to come back.

We loved our stay here! It ended up snowing nearly a foot, and it was the perfect place to be snowed in. The view from the large windows was magical, and the space is so cozy and large for a big group to enjoy! Each room is large and has their own bathrooms- so awesome!!

We had a great weekend. The place was clean and had nice updates including the floors and ceilings. The bathrooms were very nice and updated. The decor was good and we felt very much at home there.

Beautiful, large, and inviting home with plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed how close it was to hiking in Dolly Sods and enjoyed our time at the cabin as well - which had a games room and a hot tub. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

Cute and cozy place. We had 5 adults, an infant and a large dog and had plenty of room. Location was central to Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley and 30 minutes from Seneca Rocks. Great place to stay.

Love the place! Driveway was a little hard to get out in the morning with the snow.

Beautiful location and gorgeous home for 9 individuals and 1 medium size pup. The lower lever was a hit with the teenagers as it had a pool table, air hockey, and ping pong. The home had everything we needed and we couldn't have asked for anything better! I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Snow was conveniently located for our fall family adventure! It was easy to get to Timberline, Davis, Thomas, and all the great trails. The house was spotlessly clean and in great shape.

This was a great stay! Only things to note is that the spiral staircase is very narrow and there is no vent in the upstairs king bedroom so the temperature control was a bit challenging. Other than that, the place was really convenient to our plans and was well stocked!

The love the view of the valley. So peaceful and was a great location. We really our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Place is amazing, hot tube worked great and far from neighbors. Perfect for hanging out with friends. Only thing is that we ran out of some house supplies (trash bag, dish detergent, dish washer soap and toilet paper). I texted the host to leave a bigger supply for future people, so hope it helps. Also, the blankets need to be washed because there was some pet(?) hair. Otherwise, just perfect!

This is the second time that I have stayed in Emily’s property in Hendricks. I liked the downstairs apartment even more than the upstairs one. The cost is very reasonable and the spaces are very comfortable. The Allegheny Trail is right next to the building.

Great cabin I wish the check out time was later I felt rushed checking out by 10am I also don’t understand why I paid for cleaning service if we had to clean before checking out

We had a wonderful stay over the thanksgiving holiday. Railey Vacations was super responsive and helpful as we planned our trip. They answered any questions we had and provided clear instructions upon our arrival and departure. The house was unbelievably well stocked with dishes, bakeware and kitchen amenities to help with the preparation of our thanksgiving dinner. We also took full advantage of the complimentary access to the Garrett County Aquatic and Recreation Center. We would definitely book through them again! Excellent host!

The Lazy Bear Lodge at Deep Creek Lake was a wonderful choice for our winter getaway/birthday celebration. There was enough space for 3 couples and our 4 kids. The basement was perfectly laid out to keep the kids safe and entertained. There are pleantly of toys, games. and activities that can be done indoors, but perhaps my favorite part was that the property had a huge hill perfect for tubing/sleding! we never had to leave the property once we arrived! the house is well maintained and captures the log cabin feel, including a beautiful big bear carved coffee table. We arrived in the middle of a snow storm which made the trip slightly hectic, but the host was flexible with our arrival time and provided clear and concise instructions on the best way to enter the property. Although this seems like a minor detail, in a snow storm her advice was priceless. unfortunately our trip was cut short by another snow storm. and the host was understandable and offered a remedy. I highy recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Home Sweet Home. The house was very clean, neighborhood was quiet but friendly. We were lake adjacent, used the dock space, and even took advantage of the community center. Thank you so much!

We stayed at David's wonderful home for a few days around the New Year's. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds comfortable and the gas fireplace was really comforting when it was cold and stormy outside. wonderful location close to the national wildlife refuge, State Parks and the great little towns of Davis and Thomas West Virginia. highly recommended!

We booked James’s place at the last minute, and we chose it for the location rather than the accommodation. However, when we arrived we had a wonderful surprise, because it was much nicer than the photos had let us to believe. It was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized kitchen and a lovely sitting area. The kids loved having the playground outside, and it was amazing to soak in the hot tub surrounded by snow, watching the stars come out. We also enjoyed using the indoor swimming pool and games room, and visiting the ponies at the riding centre. The kids sledded down the hill outside and we also went sledding at Blackwater Falls, which was fantastic. The waterfall looked so beautiful with all the icicles. We didn’t have time to try Timberline, but the skiing at Canaan Valley was reasonably priced and great fun. We also had a few nice meals in Davis and Thomas, and a beautiful walk to Douglas falls. Overall, it was a fabulous stay and we will definitely come again if we can…

5 star stay here in Davis. The space is beautiful and spacious end unit townhouses on two levels. The hot tub was brand new and water was pristine. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. There is a lovely community space a few feet away with playground, pool and lake. I would highly recommend this place

Almost Heaven! Perfect home, perfect location for a family get-together. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and all needs will be met. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Just bring food! The lake is crystal clear and beautiful, and tall trees cover the landscape. The deer, chipmunks, squirrels and birds are right outside the door. The firepit was our evening spot to gather and chat. And toast marshmallows. And even though the kids are in their 40's, they made s'mores! This is a place to revive your soul. I could stay here forever.
