We really enjoyed our stay at the mountain cabin! We were there for a wedding celebration in close proximity! The house was super cute and would love to see it in the winter time. We'll keep Lisa in mind when we return!

What a great place! We appreciated all the thoughtful touches like labels on switches, chargers on nightstands and toiletries available. A very doable walk to and from Timberline lodge (not wearing ski boots, admittedly). Well-appointed kitchen with great appliances, beds and baths all top-notch. Lovely flat driveway. We’ve stayed at many places around Timberline and this one’s at the top of the list.

this was exactly what we needed for the night! having access to a roof over our head and a bathroom was what we needed! the listing was exactly as described. would highly recommend!

Very professionally managed- host was responsive and helpful!. She arranged for easy key pickup since previous guests lost keys. Of note- had difficulty with key lock box upon departure, as other guests have mentioned. We just left keys on kitchen counter. The place was cozy and staff helpful with snow removal. The gas fireplace worked fine for us and was much enjoyable after a few hours of playing in the snow/walking on property. Kitchen well stocked with all you need (dish ware, utensils, storage for leftovers) to cook some meals. The property is absolutely beautiful with plenty of windows to enjoy from inside. The beds very comfortable. There were some minor cleanliness items to note, as expected from listing. Nothing that wouldn’t deter from us staying again or recommending to friends. I saw a cute rodent early one morning. As the listing mentioned, this is a very rural property, having a 4WD/AWD vehicle in the winter is crucial! We’d definitely stay again!

Irene's Place exceeded our expectations! This charming home was warm and welcoming, with adorable American-themed decor that made us feel right at home. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the abundance of towels was a lovely touch. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive. The parking was convenient, and the scenic views of the river and mountains were breathtaking. We also appreciated the extensive book collection, which added to the cozy atmosphere. Communication with the host was seamless, and we appreciated their responsiveness. We highly recommend Irene's Place to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. We can't wait to return!

We had a peaceful and renovating time!! Wish it was longer. Great family space for games and hanging out. Loved how easy it was to walk to the river. We even got to see a river otter! And lots of ducks, frogs, and other wildlife. Bring your river floats to chill in the river! Can’t wait to go back.

What a place! So very clean & so many amenities. Anything you THINK you may need, it's here! Bring your bikes, the trail is MINUTES away & is lovely. We loved reading while sitting in the rockers on the porch & my hubby couldn't WAIT to have a fire in the firepit, next to the river, and wood/matches/lighter are provided. The diner up the street makes a great breakfast. There's a Shop N Save around the corner if you need milk or snacks. We didn't have time to play, but we liked the offer of the board games & table upstairs. Bedding was terrific & I always appreciate having throw blankets around for snuggling on the couch watching TV. I'm a tea drinker & RARELY do airbnb's have tea ( it drives me crazy so I always pack my own!) but this place had a selection of teas AND hot chocolate! Several types of sugar, too! It's an easy drive to Blackwater Falls (watch for the windmills along the way!) & there are lots of cute shops in the small town of Thomas. Already recommending this gem!

Amazing house near the base of Dolly Sods. Kids loved the hot tub and huge space for the family. Will be back! Thanks Pat!
