Waterfront vacation rentals in Topsail Beach

Perfect, old-school beach getaway! We loved parking ourselves on the “lifeguard stand built for two” and just watching: the waves, the wildlife, the surfers, the sky…soooo relaxing and just what we needed to unwind for a few days. We loved the laid back vibe of the place and the hosts!

The host was very responsive and the place was great all around. Views are amazing, parking is out front of the unit. This spot is one of the best for the price and worked well for three people for two nights. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in town.

This was our third stay at Melinda‘s B&B and as in the past, our visit did not disappoint. We loved the easy access to downtown , the boardwalk trail that we could take a walk on in the evening and in the morning. Love being able to do our morning yoga on the deck while watching the sunrise. Very comfortable inside and quiet. I really appreciate how easy and responsive Melinda is to contact. The interior of the B&B has always been impeccably clean and any instructions for us are clearly stated in a notebook and we appreciate that. Thank you, Melinda. We look forward to future visits!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob's place! It was just as advertised, clean and welcoming. The balcony over the river is where we put in the most hours, just watching the changes in the river, the various boats, and people-watching on the river walk. Everything we did was within minutes of the condo...great restaurants and shopping. Bob provided plenty of info and recommendations for eating and sightseeing. We were there on Memorial Day and could easily see the USS North Carolina lit up in red, white and blue. Even though it was cloudy/rainy most of the time, the awning on the balcony kept us dry and comfortable. A couple of time we had questions for Bob and he was immediately responsive and helpful. It was just the relaxing getaway we were hoping for! We would recommend this spot anytime for 2 guests!

We were very impressed with the condo! Clean and updated! Beach was steps away! We really liked decor and homey feel of everything! Felt more like walking into your home than anything! Highly recommend! Lauren is extremely fast to respond and always had the best and most helpful answers! Do not hesitate! You must go!!!!

A super cute condo in a great location on the Riverwalk with easy access to downtown bars and restaurants. It was perfect for us and had amazing views of the river from the balcony! Our host, Audrey, provided helpful, timely information and was very responsive. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway to Wilmington - we would book again!

We loved this place. It was clean, comfortable, it had everything that we needed, it’s walking distance to nice places to eat and drink, that are right on the water and it has a pool!!!

This place was beautiful and the right size for the 3 of us. We came from a little over 3 hours away and checked in very late. The check in process was extremely easy. We did not need to contact the host for anything because everything was there that we needed.

We stayed at Ric and Chelsea’s place for a week and everything was great! House was wonderful and exactly what our family needed. Lots of things to do at the house and in a very walkable location. Ric was very communicative. All around great stay.

This was my second stay at Rob’s. The location on the canal and close to the beach was fantastic! The house had everything we needed for a great stay! We enjoyed the kayaks on the canal and the short walk to the beach!

Great location! Walking distance to the beach or a 2 min drive to the Holden Beach peer. Quiet (off season) with great outdoor spaces. Loved the dock and balconies. Per friendly was a big deciding factor. Overall exceeded expectations and we did not want to leave! Thank you for sharing such a peaceful space with us, it felt like home.

We always enjoy staying on this area. The view from the house was spectacular! We would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice, clean place right on the water. It was an easy 30 minute drive to the ocean and great for coffee on the dock in the morning.

Overall wonderful, a great stay. The view over the marina made this home lovely. We had rainy weather, sitting out there was beautiful. The kitchen had everything needed, other than storage containers. Plenty of pans/serving bowls for cooking in. Comfortable living room, nice throw blankets for the cool weather. There was no instruction for working the TV, no parking passes, no oars/paddles for the canoe/SUP. There were great outdoor chairs, corn hole, ladder ball and table games. Towels/ sheets were good, quality. Appliances worked, the steamer didn’t work but they had an iron. They offered a nice bag of goodies like paper towel, shampoo, etc. An extra shampoo/conditioner for the 2nd bath would have been nice. The place was clean, but their service does need to peek under the beds. Pulling out of the driveway onto the causeway was no fun. A lot of road noise. I would say again, the porch on the water made anything else dissolve away. Loved the place, we would stay again.

The property was as described. The location at Carolina Beach is what I always look for when picking a property because the parking is terrible there and along most of the Island so it’s nice to park and walk from where you stay. This location is great. You can walk easily to the marina, boardwalk, shops restaurants and the beach is a block away right at a public access. Just please read the amenities carefully which I did. You will need to bring all your own beach gear including towels. And be sure to note the 5:00 pm check in. As I understand it takes a lot of work and coordination, that to me is still a very late check in. Never experienced that late of one before. I had read many reviews about trouble with the elevator not working properly but I’m happy to report we had no trouble at all. The dock was our favorite part of the property. Didn’t catch very many fish but I have to blame that on the fisherman. Carolina Beach is my favorite beach and has been for 64 years.

Staying at Anthony’s was like stepping back to a more gracious time ( with all the modern conveniences) . Sitting on the front porch for morning coffee & afternoon tea , looking through the trees draped in Spanish moss , was a rare gentle & civilized ‘ southern treat ‘ for all of us. Many thanks!

Place is walking distance to everything. Great space for our family, we had 4 adults and 1 kiddo. Parking was a bit confusing at first but it was quickly figured out & MK was super responsive about it. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the perfect location in Wilmington’s historic district. Lots of great restaurants and attractions that are within walking distance. The view of the river and the battleship were beautiful. There were a few issues during our stay but Aaron was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay on the Cape Fear riverfront in Wilmington. Mike's condo was as described on airbnb, extremely clean, easy check in, etc. Great location - central to the historic downtown, and walkable to everything. Mike communicated everything from check-in to check-out clearly and attentively. Highly recommend, and would stay here again on my next trip to Wilmington NC.

The place looked just like the photos! The location was great, within walking distance to great dining. The view was beautiful. We visited Carolina Beach, which was only about a 15-20 minute easy drive. The host was responsive, gave excellent directions for accessing the condo and parking, and left nice touches to make us feel welcomed like wine, chocolate, and essential oils with a diffuser. I definitely hope to visit again and book this location!

The perfect spot for our visit in downtown Wilmington. Short walk to many shops and restaurants but in a less hectic part of downtown. Nicely decorated and loved the full river view from the living room. Will be back!
