If you want a relax weekend this is the place! Beautiful view, so close the beach! The house looks just like the pictures! 10/10! If you’re going to Galveston, be ready with cash if you are going to Take the San Louis bridge ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was super convenient, just a very short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The breeze on the front porch was very nice. There is much more space behind the house than with most beach houses so you don't feel cramped. We did need assistance with the AC while we were there. Jaz reached out to his handyman and everything was taken care of very quickly. You'll enjoy the nice AC 👍. Be sure to follow the checkin instructions which are sent to you right at checkin time as they are more updated than what's listed in the "How to get in" section in the app. We'll definitely select this beach house again if we're in the area and need a 3 bedroom!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday which was also memorial weekend. The location was close to the beach and very easy to access the beach, which came in handy since memorial weekend is a very busy around this time. The host was very easy to get ahold of! The house looked just like the pictures.

We loved the house and location. Nice large balcony with a great view of the beach! There was plenty of space for our things in the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. Janet was responsive, friendly, and very accommodating. We’re ready to plan our next trip and can’t wait to return to The Gem!

Susy was an amazing host! I’ve been coming to Surfside since I was a kid and now I am bringing my own family so we have stayed in several different houses over the years and this was the best one yet. She had extra bathroom amenities in case we needed them, we were offered a wagon to use at the beach and sand toys. And there were plenty of towels which is a must for a beach vacation! The house itself was just beautiful and had a wonderful view of the beach. We ran into some trouble the first night and Susy was immediately answering us and getting everything resolved. Great house, great host, we can’t wait to be back next summer!

We had a great stay and the accommodations were great. The location was the best part with the beach literally only minutes away. We will book another stay. 👍👍

Our stay at Holly’s place was awesome. The home was exactly like the photos depicted along with all the amenities to make our stay extremely comfortable and memorable.

Cold Pass Cottage was beautiful. We felt right at home. The house is so insulated when you shut the door you don’t hear anything, very peaceful. The house is fully stocked. You just need to bring food and the things you normally take on vacation. We will definitely come again. Thank You Erik and Laura for sharing your lovely home with us.

The pumpkin house was a delightful beach retreat with comfy beds, lovely decorations, and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. 😊

Great clean and welcoming place. Enjoyed the view of the water right out of the living room while watching tv and playing board games. The rooms were very clean with great decor and the kitchen had all the utensils I like to use for cooking. Location was perfect to be close to the beach entrance and gas station but was private and quiet. Ben is an amazing friendly host and he was always responsive to my questions. I will definitely be coming back!

just a beautiful getaway in the country but not too far from the city I got a lot of things done working remote and I was able to extend my stay and then accommodated everything I needed I highly recommend you book this place.

We were so disappointed to have to leave after only 3 hours when our son got sick. However, we can't say enough good things about the hosts – they were truly supportive and quick to answer any questions. The place itself is great: spacious, clean, and perfectly situated near the beach for kids to play and for parents to fish. We definitely plan to return when our son is well and highly recommend this rental and its hosts.

The purple pelican is a perfect vacation getaway. Felt right at home the moment we walked in the door. Everything we needed for our stay was there: cooler, beach chairs and of course beach toys and kick boards for kids. Stephanie is a fabulous host. We needed to check out later and she made that happen for us so we could enjoy our last day a little longer. Thank you Stephanie!

We live nearby but had family come stay. We found this place with great location and view with direct access to the beach Walking distance to a few restaurants / bars. Beautiful inside and very modern as beach homes go. Becky was proactive with instructions and key access and even offered early checkin. Couldn’t have been a better rental experience

We loved our stay! This end of the beach is a bit more spaced out than in surfside and we felt so comfortable in the house - right on the beach, made it so easy with the kiddos to go back and forth a zillion times.

It was very lovely and felt right at home. The place was stunning and was very spacious.

Heather’s place has a great ocean view from the deck. The kitchen was spotless and stocked with all the equipment you would need to prepare family meals. We really appreciated the Folgers coffee and the ice cream sprinkles. The beds were super comfy. There were lots of children’s books. There is a nice utility room off the kitchen with a washer and dryer and some extra storage space. The layout is perfect for a family with several children.
