Craig was a fantastic host, and the house was perfect for our stay. We rented for about five weeks during which time we hosted elderly relatives and a newborn. The space worked perfectly for the group, and the location is ideal as it's walkable to coffee shops and restaurants. Craig was very communicative, always responsive and a helpful resource for recommendations as it was our first time to the area. If we return, we will for sure stay at Craig's house again.

My family and I had a nice weekend getaway at the property. It was very spacious and accommodating. We loved the bathrooms especially. The backyard area was very spacious and nice as well. I can imagine how much more beautiful it will be when the lake is full again. The only thing that was different for us was not having curtains or blinds in the whole back area (sunroom,back door, kitchen) and the front windows of the home. We live in the city area where we stay so we’re use to some sort of closure. Other than that definitely worth the price. Would highly recommend this property and come back again ourselves. Our stay was great! The house had everything you need. The place was clean and most importantly the beds were comfortable. There was a toys outside for the kids and a fire pit for the adults. The house was private but just a few minutes from a main road and about 15 minutes from the Carolina beach. Definitely would stay here again

We stayed at Adam’s place to attend the UNCW graduation ceremony. The location was great, the space was perfect, and the house was very comfortable. We will be back!!

Always a joy being at this cottage! My week of solitude . . . very comfy, the ocean, rockers on the porch, wonderful sea breeze, being able to walk out the door and practically hit the sand is so worth it! Love it and I plan to book again for next year!

Perfect, old-school beach getaway! We loved parking ourselves on the “lifeguard stand built for two” and just watching: the waves, the wildlife, the surfers, the sky…soooo relaxing and just what we needed to unwind for a few days. We loved the laid back vibe of the place and the hosts!

I couldn't recommend this place enough! The house is beautiful and the outside area is an amazing place to hangout. It is within walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Check-in and check-out process was easy and the host gave a great website on instructions for check-in and check-out process and local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a short but sweet stay! The location is pretty unbeatable if you’re not going to be waterfront. Easy walk across the bridge to public accesses and restaurants and coffee! The backyard was fantastic for our toddler to run around freely and safely. The hosts were the best kind of people. They were friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again! I’m very familiar with the area and the house felt like a secluded getaway from the tourists and traffic on the island. Big bonus!

Super charming spot, very walkable. Harry was an excellent host and made me feel very welcome. Perfect place for a couple or solo traveler to experience the charms of Wilmington or nearby beaches.

We had a great stay at this apartment while visiting our daughter at UNCW with our young son. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to campus, restaurants, and everything we needed. The host was communicative and made check-in seamless. We would definitely stay here again on future visits!

This place was beautiful and the right size for the 3 of us. We came from a little over 3 hours away and checked in very late. The check in process was extremely easy. We did not need to contact the host for anything because everything was there that we needed.

We found Marylin’s place to be clean, comfortable and cozy. We spend family time on Oak Island and while we love them, sometimes it’s nice to get away from the hustle and bustle grandchildren create. Marylin’s place was perfect. Clean with a really comfortable bed. We used the fridge for drinks, but never cooked there. It’s quiet, remote and peaceful. Highly recommend this location. Hopeful of coming back again, soon!

This was our second visit to Jamey and Jeremy's cabins. Highly recommend. The cabins were constructed with planning all through the unit. From outside to inside. Very private. The best compliment I can give them is their "GOOD PEOPLE" Looking forward to our next visit. PS If your lucky enough they might make you biscuits and gravy.

Heidi and Kevin really have made this space feel like home. Heidi is extremely kind and truly was a help to us during our trip for planning and attraction finding. They even brought us some fresh eggs from their chickens and some fresh produce. Not only was the airbnb spotless and comfortable, the owners were beyond kind and made this an amazing trip!

Cozy Cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean and nice place. We used the Get Away house as well that was available during our stay. It was the perfect set up. And the fenced in back yard was very nice. We will return in the future for a future stay.

The accommodations were quaint and the property was peaceful and lovely. Our stay was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Hosts were nice and very responsive in their communication. Sparrows Nest is convenient to grocery stores, fuel stations, and a great Mexican restaurant and pizza place! I only wish we had more time to explore the mill pond and make use of the amenities including the kayaks; we stayed here where it was convenient to boating access to join a special group for a PWC trip on the Cape Fear River. It was overall a very nice weekend celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary! Memories made! We will recommend this place to others and will book again in the future.

Great location - walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, but very peaceful. Great place - fenced in yard for the dog, well equipped kitchen, lots of space for people to hang out, comfortable beds. This is our second time staying and we hope to be be back.

One of the things we loved about our stay at Hooker Haven is the natural setting with a fantastic view of Bradley Creek and all the wildlife on the water. The home is shielded from the road and neighbors with trees and shrubs, making it a quiet and private place. The house is immaculate and has the relaxing vibe of a long-time residence. Inside, the kitchen is complete with many dishes and cooking utensils. There is a wonderful sound system with speakers for nearly every room and the deck! The bedroom is cozy and comfortable. The small bathroom is well-stocked, and the outdoor shower is a great addition to be experienced. The house is an easy drive to the amenities of Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington. Owner Erik quickly answers any questions and offers great suggestions. The serene natural environment was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.
