Great location. You can walk to the lagoon and grocery store. We had five people and a dog and there was so much room to spread out, yet still felt intimate. The gardens and both outdoor spaces were fantastic. The house was immaculate. The simple, perfect placement, and alignment of dishes, books, and games showed how much care goes into cleaning and maintaining the home. It did not feel cluttered. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog, and there were so many things there if you have little ones. The coolers were great for beach and park days. They provided so much in supplies that we only needed to buy one roll of paper towels in seven days. Having great shampoo, soap, and conditioner was so helpful. I had several questions because I missed the info when reading the detailed instructions, and the response times were incredible. This was a fantastic house and the rental experience was seamless. I definitely will return to one of Kimberly’s rentals if we return to the area.

You enter the house, a little uncertain. From the outside, a little underwhelming. You pass through the cosy living room, still a little underwhelming. And THEN, WOW. The pool area, the tennis court, the Vista to the west, the mountains...spectacular, breathtaking, everything as advertised and more. Back in the house, you find a very well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable bedrooms, a unique "guesthouse" for the Seniors (in our case), and above all...everything in working order. Absolutely no issues! Bravo to our great landlord, who was a super communicator. Overall: our family of 12, across 3 generations, found wonderful places to be together as well as to disperse. A great time was had by all in this Vista Villa wonder!

We had such an amazing week for our party of 7 family reunion!!! The house was exactly as described and so well stocked with amenities, most especially books, toys, and any children’s item you could think of for your young boys. Our family had tons of fun using the pool and hot tub, we definitely utilized the wide assortment pool/beach toys and floaties as well. We had a very good time with the special treasure hunt game which was amusement for all ages. Communication was top notch and the recommendations were much appreciated and spot on. We’re already planning our next vacation here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

If you're currently looking for a place to stay in the San Diego area and have kids, stop looking. This is the place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrie's property. Kids Paradise was ideal for our young ones, and thanks to Carrie’s thoughtful preparations, we had everything we needed for a comfortable experience. This made it possible for our children to have a wonderful vacation, while also allowing us parents to relax. I highly recommend this accommodation for families with children of all ages. We look forward to the possibility of staying at one of her other properties in the future.

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

The host was incredibly responsive and quickly took care of any issues that arose, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We have stayed with Isabella several times. She is a wonderful host. The house is located in a lovely walkable neighborhood. Feel very safe staying there. The neighbors are friendly and we feel very welcome staying there. Lots of local restaurants and stores are within walking distance. The San Diego zoo and balboa park are within 10 minutes driving distance. What we love the most about the house is the beautiful backyard. It has very comfortable patio furniture, picnic table, and a table with an umbrella. We spend many nights out at the fire pit. The house is very comfortable. The house has a wonderful sectional that we have watched many movies and footballs games with our family. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our staycation in San Diego, thanks to our beautiful home away from home at Jason’s Air BnB unit. The beach is within walking distance from the house and there are plenty of good restaurants to go to nearby. We appreciate that Jason’s place is dog-friendly as the neighborhood is very dog friendly. There are some good dog-friendly restaurants within walking distance and the dog beach in San Diego is within walking distance too. It’s a perfect place to have a staycation with family and furbabies. Thank you Jason and Keri for all the clear instructions about the house that it made our stay smooth sailing! Definitely booking again if we ever need a staycation in SD in the future.

Great spot. Super cool property within minutes from the heart of Carlsbad. The property was perfect for my two small pups; very secure. The accommodations met my needs perfectly. I look forward to reserving this location every time I visit the Carlsbad area. Jim was excellent host.

Had a nice stay - check in instructions were a little hard to find but once we found the online portal they were pretty straightforward. Comfortable bed, nice shower head, and clean small studio space. Beach gear was provided which was a nice touch. Great location with easy free parking in the surrounding streets. Host was very responsive to any messages.

A great wedding weekend. This home made for a much more personal stay for my sister, my dogs and I. Friendly neighbors - close to the city’s venues. We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Vanessa’s place was nothing short of amazing! The location is just unbearable. A walk to the beach/boardwalk, 5 min from Seaworld, 20 min from downtown. Near Mission beach and Pacific beach, surrounded by great restaurants. I could go on and on. It fit my family of 4 plus my mom and stepdad perfectly. We enjoyed the pool during the day and hot tub at night. The house has everything you could possibly want or need. We would absolutely stay there again and plan to!

This was such a beautiful guest house in a nice, peaceful, and quiet neighborhood. Everything was really clean and the amenities were amazing! Communication was great and the hosts Zach and Eva were so polite and very friendly with quick response times. There’s a fun Las Vegas theme outdoor area near the pool and their garden is gorgeous. There are stairs in the house that are steep so they might be a little bit difficult for someone with a physical disability or the elderly but this is listed in the description. Overall, I highly recommend this listing to anyone wanting to stay near San Diego!

We had a great stay at Tigg’s place. It was easy to get around, very walkable to get food or go to the beach. The studio had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Paige's airbnb. Everything was as described and in working order. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of silverware and dinnerware. BBQ was easy to use and the front patio and back patio are perfect for relaxing and visiting. We had a great stay and really enjoyed being able to have all 9 of us in one house for the week!
