Lovely one night stay perfect location

We had a lovely stay at Daniel’s place. The communication and check in instructions were really clear and easy to follow. The location is perfect, conveniently in the centre of town. The apartment is spacious, warm and clean. The only negative is the shower pressure. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Best air bnb I’ve stayed in. View was beautiful, warm, tidy, comfortable bed, all the kitchen appliances and extra bits and bobs to ensure guests are happy. Would highly highly recommend and will use again. Thankyou Sarah!

well we'll what can I say about Sarah.. she is just a beautiful wonderful host inside and out. the place is so spacious very neat and clean.had everything what we needed. fridge and freezer full of food and the most important thing is we could use everything that was so kind of Sarah.she couldn't do enough for us. always checking if we were comfortable and needed anything. loved staying every minute of it. This was our first visit to Skye and the cottage was the perfect place to stay. It is attached to the owner’s home but otherwise in a fairly remote location. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the location is unbelievably beautiful! The cottage was very welcoming with colourful decor, cosy and had everything that we needed. Easy parking for the car outside the door. We stayed with our dog and were all very comfortable during the stay and sad to leave when it was over.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Lock keepers cottage. It was a perfect base for touring this corner of Scotland. A two minute walk to get the train to Mallaig. The steam train passing by twice daily, boats up & down the canal & through the locks, always plenty to see. The cottage was cosy & warm, clean & well equipped. Quiet at night. Comfy bed. Open fire, beautiful views, pub & restaurant within short walk, and flat walks along the canal! We felt very much at home.

Would definitely recommend staying here! The flat was perfect - our toddler had loads of room to crawl around! The views are beautiful, and the flat is a perfect base to explore a beautiful part of the world. The kitchen was tidy, very comfortable, and bathrooms ideal. Thanks!

We had the most relaxing time at Tigh A'Mhuillin. The views and local landscape were breathtaking. We enjoyed hiking around the property and venturing into Applecross along the coastal road. The house itself was spectacular. Jamie has impeccable taste and has done an incredible job furnishing it with beautiful pieces that feel so luxurious, while still letting the scenery shine. My husband said they had the best selection of books he’s ever seen in a rental property. So many cool editions of books about the region, and some great lit as well. We felt right at home more than we ever thought we could so far away.

Rachel was a really great host. Whenever I contacted her with questions, she responded. She provided a lot of great recommendations based on requests. The location is perfect if you are spending time in Fort William and you don't have your own car. It is a quick walk to the bus & train station, as well as to the closest grocery store, local restaurants and cafes. There are trails close enough to walk to start as well. I felt safe going out early to run. The place included many helpful amenities. I arrived after dark and had little trouble figuring out which building and then getting into the door because it was dark, but once I figured out how it all worked, it was great. Felt safe in the location.

Had a wonderful stay, location was beautiful and peaceful. Not even a minutes walk to the distillery and very close to Talisker bay and the fairy pools as well. The kitchen had all the essentials and the living room was very comfortable. Don is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions you may have. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Skye.

We had a lovely stay over new year beautiful house very comfy and cosy the garden is great for the dogs to go mad in Kay was a wonderful host checking in on us and quick to respond to any questions we had she even left us champagne and flowers and hid little treats around the house for us to find location is good near to Loch Ness and lovely little village

A great host with a lovely, peaceful place to stay

Beautiful little home in a stunning remote location. On our first day we were treated to views of white tailed eagles soaring above the Loch from the big picture window. Debbie had great recommendations for where we could eat out, even out of season, and was very quick to respond and helpful when needed.

Really lovely accommodation with fantastic loch side views. Everything you need available either for short or long stay. Very comfy bed. Highly recommend.

Great stay at the Harbor House. Conveniently located to shops, restaurants and a picturesque view right out your front door. The home has everything you need for a short stay or an extended stay. Lots of space. It is exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. We have no complaints.

Location, location, location - that is why I choose this listing as my wife was joining me after a business trip to Scotland and I wanted to make sure she was comfortable and we had a nice place to stay. It wasn't inexpensive - this is probably the most we have ever paid - but I know my wife. Looking over the options in Portree, there was too much at risk choosing a B&B or hotel, I needed to be sure that the stay was excellent. And it was! The view was exceptional, the property clean and largely odor-free (it is next to a fish and chips shop, so the kitchen had a bit of an odor, but the bedrooms were odor-free!). I would stay here again, as noted, not inexpensive - but not many choices for AirBnb in Skye so this was by far the best choice in my opinion!

Lyn's place was the perfect getaway for myself and my girlfriend to explore Western Scotland. This was a cosy ground floor apartment that's in a quiet area, immaculate upon entry, contained all listed items and features, and myself and my girlfriend felt comfortable and right at home. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen contained everything we needed to self-cater and there were treats left for us such as shortbreads, caramel bars and jams as an added bonus. The apartment is located next to a beautiful loch and located right near the stunning Ben Nevis and Fort William, with plenty of picturesque locations nearby and guides provided for local walks. Lyn was an excellent host and welcomed us, was friendly, gave us privacy and was responsive with communication. We had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend.

Its a nice place to stay. Felt like staying in our own house. Will visit again for sure.

This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.

We had an amazing stay! Rosie was a very kind hostess, her dogs were very cute and well behaved and the house was just like on the photos. It’s so peaceful there and especially the kitchen was really well-equipped (the rest is really well-equipped too)! I can only advise anyone looking for some peace and quiet in the Scottish Highlands to come to her AirBnb :)

Norma’s place was exactly as described and in a convenient location for us to explore Glencoe and Fort William. The apartment had all the necessities for our stay and Norma provided us with bread, spreads, cereal, milk and coffee which was the perfect touch especially for our quick on the go mornings. Would definitely stay here again!

beautifull place with an amazing view. John was also incredibly kind and quick to respond when we got a little lost all due to my own fault. The room was spacious with a nice kitchen and a very cozy area to just chill after a long day of hiking. the room was a bit chilly, but with the heaters it warmed up in no time. If we would stay there again (and we'd love to!) we would've done a bit more groceries in the co-op in Broadford so we'd be able to use the kitchen more. Skye is an amazing place to visit, and staying at John and Ann's place is probably one of the best ways to experience it.

The apartment was lovely, extremely comfy and clean. Fabulous quiet location, which was a perfect base for days out. Jenny was very friendly and helpful. Left us a box of shortbread, which was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. ☺️
