Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Skye

What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world. Extremely peaceful and beautiful views of the sea in the distance. We loved it.

Wonderful location, quick walk to town and local amenities. The Bothy is beautiful in design and functionality, with thoughtful and well-curated details. The hosts are amazing-they made us feel at home and accommodated us when weather affected our itinerary. Would recommend, 10 out of 10.

Carol & Allan 's Place was amazing!! We loved the house, it had everything we needed and more! The area was beautiful and peaceful. We drove all over and saw the most incredible scenery! We met Carol & Allan on our last night, and they are so lovely!! You cannot ask for a better place to stay!! Rodney

Alison was a wonderful host for her place from giving us excellent directions (we came in after dark and still found it easily) to checking us in personally. We communicated with her that we had left later than planned and would be getting there late so we certainly didn't expect a personal check-in, but it was much appreciated. The place itself is a charming croft and a small distance from Spean Bridge into the countryside. The views are gorgeous and the interior is welcoming and well equipped. For us it was a central location for exploring - .5 hour to Fort William, 1.5 hrs to Glen Creran, and slighly less than 2 hrs to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skybridge to the Isle of Skye, etc. We would hike all day and come home late to make a last meal and sleep. Having a washer and dryer in a mud room area was fabulous with mud on our hikes. We would definitely stay here again both for the scenery and the hospitality.

We loved Julie’s place! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything in Fort Augustus and a great base from which to explore the Highlands. The house is beautiful, incredibly comfortable and very spacious for the 6 of us. Julie provided a great welcome with treats and even crackers ready for our Christmas meal. The kitchen is very well equipped. Nice garden and plenty of space for parking. Very highly recommended, would love to come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views and a comfortable house. Had everything we needed and was nice and clean! Would recommend to anyone who wants a base to explore the amazing surrounding area.

Hector’s place was very comfortable, easy to access and you couldn’t beat the location. The flat is very spacious with beautiful lighting at all times of the day. Hector was great to communicate with and responsive to our inquiries. The Cafe below is an added bonus.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Perfect location right on Loch Ness with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend!!

I rarely give a 5.0 review but Steve and Sheryl were great hosts and their place is amazing.

Lori was really helpful and hospitable. The animals were great. The view out the cabin is lovely, especially for watching for shore birds. Unfortunately we missed out on the otter, seals, and porpoises that are sometimes spotted nearby. Comfy cabin. Good size for such a small cabin.

We are very happy to have chosen Sally and Adam's chalet for our stay on the island of Skye. The accommodation is immersed in nature, it infuses peace and serenity, a great place to rest your mind👌🏻. The little house is equipped with all the necessary amenities, the view is spectacular at all hours of the day. Sally and Adam are very helpful and kind people. A special thank you to Adam who helped us solve a problem with the tire of our car. Highly recommended!!! Federico & Marta

We really loved this peaceful and remote stay. It was very quiet and serene. The Airbnb had everything we needed, it’s definitely a cozy little spot! The extra touches from the hosts were really nice. Everything was extremely clean. Very close to the main town. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Only thing I'd say. Is that it took the hot tub till the third day to heat up to a temperature that was nice to sit in. But everything thing else was amazing. Lovely place and the view in amazing. Would definitely go again 5 ⭐

Rebecca and Matthew are wonderful hosts with an amazing property. We stayed for 3 nights in February and had a fantastic stay. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need. The decor and finishes are all to the highest standard and extremely luxurious. The bathroom is out of this world with a very large walk in shower and the biggest bath I’ve ever seen. The hot tub is clearly top of the range and super toasty with very powerful jets. The view from the hot tub is beautiful and at night you can star gaze. It’s also very private and we were not overlooked. We were lucky with the weather whilst we were visiting and had three days of sunshine. This just helped to show off everything the cottage had to offer. Rebecca and Matthew are very generous and extremely helpful. Rebecca especially went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. It’s obvious she cares very deeply about the welfare of her guests and making sure they have everything they need. We’ll be back!

What a stunning 5 star pod. Everything you need. Fab sauna, Hot tub and Bbq hut. Lovely and peaceful. Great locations within a short distance. Friendly host. Wish we stayed longer. Thanks Michelle and Jason

Our stay was great, the location is ideal. Close enough to walk to Glencoe and Ballachulish. Beautiful area with great views. The place was tidy woth a pool/fusball table. Catherine was extremely helpful during our stay

Lovely cozy cabin which is beautiful furnished. Everything needed for a relaxing stay. Plenty parking space & beautiful scenery all round 👍 We would highly recommend this wee gem 😊
