“This is a great location. Short walk to get a proper good cup of coffee and if you get fine weather like we did, an exception spot just outside the property to watch the morning sun shining on Claddagh and the seals and swans splashing around a few yards away. The property itself is homely and secure with the front of the apartment looking out onto a pleasant courtyard. The remote management (in Covid Times) was perfect, we changed our mind a couple of times for our checkout date and the response to our request was pretty immediate and especially good since our communication was in the late evening and at the weekend. Great value place to experience the cracking city that is Galway.”
This is part of a family home with separate entrance, private double room, bathroom and self catering kitchen - everything you need for a base as you explore the wonderful city of Galway. We are situated in a quiet area with bus stop at the entrance. Close to the city, GMIT and the racecourse.
“We had a wonderful stay at Lorraine’s! Amazing communication and hospitality shown to us during our stay. We were in town during the covid-19 shut downs over St. Patrick’s Day and the apartment was just what we needed! Lorraine was so kind to let us stay and extra day and gave us lots of recommendations to get outside. Since it was self catering we utilized the kitchen regularly and it was perfect. Great location and convenient to downtown. We would definitely stay here again and can’t wait to be back in Galway again!”
“James and Mary are really wonderful hosts. They made me very welcome and provided all kinds of unexpected extra treats: a home baked scone, a piece of apple pie, a hot water bottle and the last day Mary gave me a lift to the station. The flat is sparkling clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The photos do not do justice it. There are two armchairs, one of which is so comfortable I spent hours lounging in it reading one of the novels provided. The bathroom is particularly suitable for elderly guests: handrails and nonslip bath mat. I hope that it will not be my last stay with James and Mary.”
