Romantic, freestanding casita with private courtyard, set upon the hillside of a working olive farm in Paso Robles, California. Vintage Moroccan and Spanish light fixtures, built-in Moroccan queen-sized bed, refrigerator, coffee maker and basic utensils make this a perfect home-away-from-home or private retreat. The en suite bathroom features a porcelain tub/shower and stone sink. An outdoor fireplace, fountain and gorgeous views to the surrounding hillside complete the setting.
“Highly recommend staying at the Casita Oliva! The space is so sweet and clean and offers amazing views overlooking olive groves which you’re welcomed to walk through. The casita is a very short drive from Cass Winery which we were recommended for lunch and wine tasting rather than driving all the way into town. If you’re lookin for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is your spot. Maya and Chris are super hospitable hosts and respond to questions and requests immediately. Despite staying on the premises next door (their home) you still feel a sense of privacy with the added bonus of last minute accommodations. We will definitely be booking with M&C again.”
We remain open during the Corona virus emergency. If you have to "socially distance"; there's no one out here for miles. Lirio Cottage, named for the lily pads in the pond just steps away, is nestled under a majestic Valley Oak. Both rustic and civilized, the canvas cabin is complete with running hot water, shower and bath and provides magnificent views in every direction.
“If you’re looking for isolation this is the place. This is not the place you would go if you want a full glamping experience. The bed was super comfy the patio was perfect for a little campfire and Kenney provided all the right utensils for me to cook up some yummy food. The only thing I was a little nervous on using was the bathroom solely because I have never used a bathroom like that before, it is a waste basket system so after you do the doo you bag it up and throw it away. I think for the first time I was a bit nervous. I loved the hike around the property especially during the sunset. At night I got to hear owls and different wildlife. I was super bummed I didn’t see any cows! Lol I would’ve like to see some string lights around the patio but again with no electricity it was to be expected. Overall Kenney was an amazing host and I would definitely stay here again! The views are breathtaking and it was only a 40minute drive to the beaches.”
Pull up an industrial-style stool at the breakfast bar, then take it easy on the leather recliner at this relaxed home with western artwork, barn doors, and cowhide rugs. Snuggle up under cowboy-inspired blankets for a peaceful night's sleep.
“This guesthouse is a peaceful, well-kept oasis with views of ranch gardens, trees, and fields. We settled in immediately as if it were home. I don't think I've ever stayed in an airbnb so orderly and immaculate! Ginni is spacing out her reservations, so it felt entirely Covid safe. The beds were comfy, the bath and kitchen lovely, and the back deck a calm space of retreat to listen to birds and crickets. The decor is an upscale cowboy/rustic, with some clever and unusual details, such as a beautiful sliding barn door in one of the bedrooms. Ginni and her three friendly dogs greeted us as we arrived and saw us off as we left. Overall, an ideal stay.”
