Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sequoia National Forest

Wonderful stay! We used the property as a base for exploring the local national parks - very convenient location! The property/house was clean - we notice small things and think the cleaning crew does a good job. It is rare today that online pictures accurately display the current condition of a property, but all online pictures are very representative of the property! Obviously the pool/hot tub were amazing, especially upon return from a day of hiking, the afternoon heat of California and with kids! Perfect dwelling for a young outdoor family looking for a resort like feel at a fraction of the price! Furthermore, the privacy and quietness of the location will best any other place in town. Excellent stay and the hosts are very responsive, often immediately responsive, and offered great recommendations. Overall, great property, location and value.

Jeffrey’s place was a great location and he was great host. Easy to communicate with and his directions helped a lot.

We stayed here for a few days while exploring the Sequoia National Park. The home was easy to get into and was nicely clean. The living room was spacious and warm, allowing it to be a nice center point for relaxing and hanging out. The appliances like the washer, dryer, fridge, and dish washer worked perfectly. The hot tub was also a very nice addition, be sure to read the provided instructions, especially if you are unfamiliar with hot tubs. Water was consistent and high pressure. The neighborhood was very welcoming and overall quiet. Would definitely book again if in the area.

As our first time going to Sequoia NP, we enjoyed staying at this place, especially since it’s an hour away to the national park. We brought our three dogs with us and they really enjoyed playing in the backyard. Just be aware of the red ants in the backyard and try not to leave any food lying around but other than that you should be good. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient to have a Target, a Costco, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We would definitely come back and stay at this place.

we stayed 3 nights in Jana's shabby chic place. it was peaceful with easy parking, a comfortable bed and a great shower. Jana was very pro active with local information. we loved 3Ryoghurt about 3 miles away when the temperature was over 30c. you need to drive to get to amenities, the village market was a great supermarket.

The house was well placed for a stop on the way to Yosemite.

This was a true retreat. Almost a modern 70s vibe living room that we loved hanging out in. Wish we had more time to spend here. Kathleen greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the property and made us feel right at home. We were about 20/30 minutes from Sequoia NP. The kitchen made it easy get your day started washer/dryer came in handy too. Awesome bathroom and wrap around deck. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area =)

This place was perfect for fitting multiple families into one location. We loved spending time out of the deck with the view and how spacious it was for all of us. My niece had a little wedding ceremony in Sequoia National Park and this was the perfect location for us to get ready at without being too far away. We would definitely stay here again if ever visiting the national park in the future :)

This is our third time renting this place..easy and convenient to all the areas in downtown. It is perfect for 2 or 3 people. We feel perfectly secure and safe here and Ursula and team are easy to work with. Self checkin/out is a plus! It is about a 3 minute drive to Hwy 198 from the Airbnb.

Great location and a lot of privacy. It was peaceful and extremely close to the entrance of sequoia national park. Will definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Sequoia Crest! It was the perfect retreat for our family, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature. The cabin was well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make us feel right at home. The proximity to Sequoia National Park was a huge bonus, allowing us to enjoy stunning hikes and breathtaking scenery. We highly recommend this gem and look forward to returning!

My stay here was absolutely magical! Such a beautiful area, and a lovely unit to stay in with everything you need. Loved seeing the cute little pigs, the big white friendly dogs protecting them and the peaceful river lined with gorgeous trees. The hosts are very responsive and kind. The town of Kingsburg is so quaint and charming as well. I hope to return someday!

We came back for a second stay and, just like last year, had a great time. The place has a special charm - it's set on a citrus ranch with peacocks, dogs, cats, and birds all around, so it's definitely lively, but in a really fun and unique way. It adds a lot to the atmosphere. We also enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit in the evening. The hosts are thoughtful and make sure everything is comfortable.

Arriving & staying at Joanie's place is like entering Garden of Eden. Just seeing the wide smile & "ohh-ahh" from my parents who are visiting from a city country, they couldn't believe their eyes seeing real oranges on the trees!! This place was what I was looking for, disconnecting myself from the rest of the world for a weekend. My family really enjoyed the stay so much that they wanted to stay longer. The host such a nice lady always greeted us with a smile. Hope I can come back soon. Thank you Michal sorry my daughter still some these juicy great fruit of yours she loves fruits.

The house was perfect for our extended family to stay together for my daughter’s wedding. The layout was terrific; we all had our own space. My son and granddaughter had time to enjoy the pool and the clubhouse restaurant was within walking distance for a hot breakfast. The house and some items are dated, but everything was clean and adequately supplied.

We had a wonderful stay at Alta Peak Penzion in Three Rivers. The space was serene and thoughtfully maintained, surrounded by nature and just a short drive from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Check-in was smooth with no issues at all, and having the WiFi credentials ahead of time was super convenient. Peter and Alena were thoughtful hosts—Peter even helped us with an early check-in, which we truly appreciated, even though we couldn’t take advantage of it as our schedule was dictated by our two-year-old. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchenette was well stocked with utensils, making it easy to prepare quick meals. The balcony views, relaxing by the pool, and the stunning night skies made for a peaceful retreat. The conveniently placed NEMA 14-50 outlet kept our Tesla juiced up and completely eased any charging anxiety. If we find ourselves visiting this side again, we would absolutely stay here. Probably one of the best airbnb experience I have had.

Chris and his family were extremely friendly and accommodating! This was the perfect place for me and my dog to stay while visiting the national parks. The space was exactly as described and their home is close to everything you would ever need. I would highly recommend staying here and if I ever come back to visit the parks I will definitely be staying here!
