Condo vacation rentals in Santa Barbara

The condo was clean comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient to walking trails shops and the beach. Amtrak is a few blocks away for easy trips to Santa Barbara. I would definitely recommend Melinda’s condo in Carpinteria for a great beach vacation.

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Tonya is a great host, incredible with communication, very friendly, responsive, and quick to help. We had a wonderful stay here. The space was clean and comfortable. The location was incredible right on the beach with an easy access to it. We will be back.

We enjoyed our week stay at Frank's place. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect! Easy access to the beach and walkable to many great restaurants. We walked to the nearby Amtrak train station to take a quick 15 minute ride to Santa Barbara. Frank provides beach chairs, umbrella, table, cooler, ect for a relaxing day at the beach. Frank was a great host.

Had a good stay in a great Santa Barbara neighborhood. The Airbnb was clean, nice and conveniently located!

Pros: the place is very conveniently located, linens on the bed were so soft and comfortable. Kitchen had great appliances and amenities. Pool is heated and quite pleasant. Can walk to the Malibu Pier. Cons: beach felt isolated from the “action”, but for some this would be a positive since it’s pretty private. Biggest issue was cell service. Not home owners fault, but I have Verizon and had no service while in the condo. Like, no bars / SOS message. And then when I left the condo and went to the pool I had no WiFi or cell service. Not a huge deal but a minor inconvenience worth pointing out.

Just got back from 5 awesome days spent in Romi's beautiful property right on the beach. The condo is either very new or extremely well maintained, everything was spotless in pristine white. There is plenty of space, never felt cramped. Kitchen is very well equipped and has everything anyone could possibly want. The location cannot be beat, direct ocean view plus just a few flights of stairs away from direct beach access. Romi was very accommodating and communicated clearly and well, including recommendations of things to do and see. Would certainly stay there again!

Small but efficient for us two. Great location in Carpinteria. We usually camp at the state beach but opted not to this year. Had everything we needed. Pool and spa were great. Complex was peaceful and other residents and office staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in gated lot and the spots had plenty of room for our truck and there were bike racks inside the parking lot for locking up our bikes that we took. We only used our vehicle once it was too dark for bike riding, otherwise we biked or walked. Husband fished everyday for several hours while I got to sleep in, relax, watch tv, or walk up the street for shopping. Farmers Market on Thursday was great for buying fresh fruits and veggies and flowers.

William was great to work with and we loved the place. Easy walk to the beach and we had the whole beach to ourselves. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Our family had a wonderful time at this space. The unit was comfortable, spacious and very well stocked. We enjoyed the short hike along the bluffs to watch dolphins and seals. We spent hours on the wonderful beach steps away. The comfortable heated pool and hot tub were a great way to end the day. We would love to return one day.

This was such a great find! The property was absolutely stunning, and the proximity to the beach was a huge plus. Wish we stayed longer!

Linda's home was the perfect place for our team while we were working in the area. Very close to restaurants and grocery. Her home was clean and cared for. Linda was always responsive to any question. We needed to extend our stay, and the process was easy to navigate with Linda's support, which took pressure off of our plate. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful home while we were working away from our own home.

Alexandra's place is spotless! And the kitchen is extremely well stocked. We felt fortunate this apartment was available as it met our needs very nicely.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

D’s place was welcoming, comfortable, quiet and private. I loved having my own bedroom suite to come home to each evening after a weekend workshop. And D was wonderful to visit with when we crossed paths. I would definitely stay here again.

Angel was an amazing host!! I was honored to meet her and her husband, and I can tell this home was designed to welcome a healing atmosphere and God was surely glorified! I would love to come back and stay again, and it truly felt like home, to a person that has to travel allot for ministry. Bless your heart 🙏🏽

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in Carpinteria at Jennifer's and Tommy's who also have the sweetest dog called Cub. The bedroom was cosy, had enough space and an extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom was immaculate with toiletries available if required and water pressure was brilliant in the shower. Jennifer and Tommy gave us plenty of fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit and all other amenities. They could not have been more helpful and even kindly ensured after a night of enjoying the local brewery provided us with some much needed water and painkillers in the morning! There was plenty of free parking that was close to the property and the area felt very safe. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carpinteria and were sad to leave as we wished we could have spent more time enjoying all of the beauty and delights of the area. Our accommodation felt like a home away from home! Thank you again for such a memorable stay!

Place was easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Fair price. The condo was clean.

Lorie gave us all the info we needed for our stay and then we dealt with the resort/staff during the stay. Everyone was awesome and helpful. Great game room in the lobby. Room was spacious and clean with balcony, tons of beautiful bird chirping all day long. Walkable to anything in downtown Solvang.

Ellen’s place in Westlake was absolutely perfect. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and in terrific shape. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ellen was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and thoughtful throughout our visit. She made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.
