This stay was extremely pleasant: the location was great for me as it was within walking distance of work and all necessities (grocery, restaurants etc). The unit was spacious and bright. The check-in was very convenient with the keypad and I appreciated the independence as I had to come back very late in the evenings. The hosts were very responsive and made sure everything was running smoothly.

The house is very clean and comfortable. It is convenient to cook in the kitchen. Bill and his family are very considerate in every detail. It is a great pleasure to live in the house. There is a trail behind the house. I like to take a walk there. It is near Safeway and Wholefoods. Shopping and eating out are very convenient.

We had a very nice, short stay at Ellen’s house. You cannot beat the location- you can walk to beach, nice coffee shops, bars, restaurants and yoga. Very chill neighborhood. Highly recommend. The only thing I can recommend is I wish I had brought a sound machine to block out sound from upstairs. This is common to hear in the houses in San Francisco.

Very nice place. Good sized comfortable beds. Somewhat small for 5 people if one were to stay longer, but fine for a few days. Kitchen is limited (no stove, small fridge), but again she makes that clear going in. Has outdoor seating that we didn't get to use d/t weather.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful guest home. The space was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable, especially the beds! The full kitchen made meals easy, and the private yard was a real bonus with lovely patio furniture, a gorgeous garden, and even fruit trees like lemon and kiwi. It felt peaceful and relaxing throughout. The host was very responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

James's place was as described--it's a basement-level apartment. It's on a cul-de-sac on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood with some stately redwood trees in the yard. Parking was easy. The location was very convenient to Mountain View and Sunnyvale. The apartment was clean and equipped with the basics. WiFi was good. Having laundry in-unit was very helpful. Check-in was easy, and the directions for locating the place were clear. Yes, as described, the ceilings are low (6' 6" or so), and there are a couple of thresholds that are, I'd say, 6' 0" (I'm 6' 1" and couldn't stand under them fully), but I knew to expect that. It does mean the shower head is also pretty low, but, again, I expected that. The people upstairs can be heard moving about, but it wasn't enough to be majorly noticeable. Overall, a nice place to stay and a good value in an area where lodging is very expensive.

This place is great. Nice patio area with chairs. Bathroom is spacious with his and hers sinks. Bed is super comfortable, memory foam. Host is super friendly and helpful with whatever you need.

We had an excellent stay at Megan and Han's cozy retreat! The space was well equipped with thoughtful details from a separate laundry room to store our luggage and clothes, to power outlets on both sides of the bed. The entire unit was very clean and had everything we needed. One thing to note, this is a basement unit so you will hear footsteps and daily living above you. The hosts communicated clearly and were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for a night at Marianne’s and loved it. Comfortable bed. Quiet and safe neighborhood in the hills with a nice view. Easy access to Oakland airport. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at James’s place for almost a week, and it was a wonderful experience. His home is in a beautiful residential neighborhood that felt safe and welcoming. This was our first time in San Francisco, so we were initially concerned about choosing the right location—it seems like the kind of city where picking the wrong area could really affect your experience. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case here. James’s neighborhood is exactly the kind of place we’d love to live in if we ever moved to SF—friendly neighbors, charming coffee shops, and a quiet, clean atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind (and probably true for most of SF) is the hilly terrain. If you're not used to walking up and down steep streets, you might end up relying on Uber or renting a car. That said, the location is excellent—close to downtown but still peaceful and relaxing. James was a great host, offering helpful recommendations and lovely conversation. He was also very flexible with our checkout time, thanks James

We had a lovely stay! access to the Sauna and Hot tub made for a memorial stay. Elizabeth had prompt and clear communication through the process. We would stay again when in the area!

My partner and I slept like a dream in the extremely comfortable bed. The location is so perfect right across from the beach and has great cafes in the area. Would absolutely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Gabriela’s place, it was quiet, peaceful, and very private, just what I was looking for. Gabriela was super responsive and friendly throughout, and she kindly accommodated my requests. I truly appreciate her thoughtfulness. Highly recommend!

We are just back from a 6-day stay at the Suite on Camden and loved it. The suite has lovely gray and slate blue decor throughout, a super comfy bed, huge closet, beautiful bathroom and a full kitchen with everything you need to cook! The deck and backyard are so spacious and pretty - perfect for enjoying an evening drink and for quick potty breaks for our little dog. The neighborhood was a sweet surprise - quiet (although close to the freeway), beautiful views from the hills, flowers everywhere, very walkable with our pooch and everyone we ran into was so nice. We are spoiled now - can’t imagine staying anywhere else when going to the Bay Area - thanks, Sam and Jessica!

My mom and I haven’t had time together like this in years, maybe ever. I was so happy to share this space with her and this Airbnb was the perfect place to do it. Serena was present and checked in with me about midway through the stay to see if we needed anything. I recommend for the privacy, garden and location!

I had a great stay at Tina’s place. The Airbnb is a private side entrance room with an attached bath, located within the main house. The space was clean, cozy, and just as described. The neighborhood is fantastic for walking dogs—the grid-like arrangement of roads and lanes offers multiple routes between locations, so my dogs were always entertained. Tina was a really helpful and welcoming host, making the stay easy and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and convenient spot!

Wonderful place to stay! Super quiet! Don’t be afraid of no a/c it gets quite cool at night and stays that way all day! Washer and dryer in unit! Bed is super comfy with lots of blankets!

The stay in Benicia was so relaxing and a perfect setting! Very comfortable bed and has all the amenities you would need. The apartment is just as described and a perfect getaway. It is so peaceful outside the garden is beautiful. The location is perfect for taking walks to the beautiful local parks and there’s views all around of the water. I cannot wait to visit again!

Place was exactly as described and very clean and organized. The kitchen and bathroom had all the essentials plus complimentary water and a personally delivered cheesecake by the host! I felt comfortable and safe to stay there and the hosts were friendly and responsive all the time. Close walk to a Walgreens and public transportation too!

My third stay here. Beautiful artsy quiet safe neighborhood. West Portal has delightful shops and eateries all easy walking distance. 3 blocks from muni station that goes or connects to anywhere including airports. Easy safe double door entry code access and nice 11am checkout and luggage hold. Hosts Phil and Su are very accommodating. Thanks for the memories ! .

Nancy’s suite was very opulent and luxurious. She spared no expense for luxury. Highly recommend if you want a night away from the city, or children :)

Lucy is very responsive and reply to any request from the Airbnb chat. The house is close the amenities and restaurant which are within walking distance. So it is easy to get a quick bites or get some emergency stock up of drinks if need to. Close to San Fransisco city as well with a car. So it definitely a good place to stay if you are visiting or coming for business.
