House is spacious, the loft is private, and Nima's home is spotless, attractive, and better-equipped with amenities than many hotels. The patio with a great view of Downtown is a nice bonus, and Nima is a cordial and excellent host. Nima's dog is friendly and fun, but long-haired. If you are sensitive to pet dander, you may wish to bring antihistamines.

Nima was a wonderful host. The view from the rooftop area was breathtaking. I cannot recommend enough how awesome this place is. Everything was clean and tidy and the space was huge!!! There's a train that runs close by, but Nima provides ear plugs. I didn't even use them and I slept soundly. If you have to stay in Houston, stay here!

I had told him I had a fear of dogs and he went out of his way to make me feel at ease and comfortable. The room itself was spotless, had a big TV, fluffy bed, stocked fridge and wallplugs with usbports! As far as I could tell Nima is a IT/Techguy and thus all of the technological amenities were a step above what I have previously experienced. The bathroom was big and spotless as well. The shower was large as well and I enjoyed quite a bit. The 2 best things about their place (in my opinion) are the rooftop with a superb view of the Houston skyline. I would recommend watching at night as it is wonderful. Perhaps take your lover up there for a romantic night :). The other thing are the hosts themselves. Nima and Johanna are intelligent people and I loved my discussions and debates with them. If or when I'm visiting Houston again, I would most certainly stay with them again.

Nima was an awesome host. The place was exactly as described (if not better). There's a great amount of privacy here as the room is on a separate floor than the common area. The room is also very spacious and comfortable. Nima's dog is great as well. She's very friendly, doesn't bark, and was good at keeping to the common area - you don't even know she's there. The location really convenient as well. Groceries are close by and midtown is a short uber ride away. Would definitely recommend Nima's place to anyone and I hope to stay again.

Nima is a very nice host and made me feel like home. I had the totally private bedroom, bathroom and the rooftop during my stay. It's very comfortable and clean. The view of downtown skylines was amazing. It was so enjoyable to have a coffee in the morning on the rooftop with the view. The location is very convenient even for someone like me who does not have a car. It is walkable to downtown and Washington Avenue. I wish I could stay longer : )

Nima was a wonderful host! I was in Houston for the night and I found this listing to have everything I could possible need. The beautiful rooftop deck is an added bonus! It is a 5 min Uber drive to all the entertainment and night life so travel time won't be a hassle. Not only is the location convenient but it is safe so if you decide to walk around the neighborhood you will enjoy yourself. Ideal (cozy) for a single person or couple. Cooking there not practical - coffee, pastry and fruit ideal. Lots of places to eat out. Great neighborhood - not on a through street so anyone traveling on the street is heading home. Really enjoyed this place - much better than a motel.

Small, but clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood that was centrally located.

The location couldn't have been better and the fact that it was pet friendly was great! The neighborhood felt clean and safe, even when walking our dogs at night. We were in town for 2 nights for shopping and decided to bring our dogs. The space was comfortable for 2 adults and our 2 dogs - the amenities were very thoughtful and well appointed. Our only issue was the noise of children around 7am but we were up by then. I think that with a little more sound proofing this place would be perfection.

I have a great time during my stay, The place was excellent just as is published. Isabel and her family made me feel really comfortable. They answer all my questions and help me out when needed. I would definitely recommend it

Despite the fact that I was only staying for a single evening, Chris extended extra effort to see to it that my stay was enjoyable. I was blown away by his ability to anticipate my needs. I was stopping over in Houston on my way back from a tropical vacation, and was unexpectedly greeted by a very cold Houston. Realizing that I didn't have weather appropriate attire, Chris went into his own closet for a jacket that he insisted I hold onto during my stay. I couldn't believe it. Chris's space is classy and clean, as he describes in his listing. The ambient lighting enhances the artwork featured throughout his pad and is a welcome respite from a generally sunny outdoor Houston.

Chris was WAY awesome! Super accommodating. He was so understanding of my weird and sporadic shoot schedule. The place is super cool! I just wish I could've stayed longer. I'll definitely hit him up next time I'm back in Houston.

Great location for a stay in Houston during the 4th. Its close to everything (museums, parks, dining) . Chris is a great host because he showed us downtown in his own vehicle and helped us find safe parking for the Freedom Over Texas event! Hosts like this are why I am going to keep using Airbnb.

Beautiful loft apartment and the room is super comfortable. Chris also gave great food recommendations. Additionally, the apartment is a couple blocks from the 82 bus, which takes you right to midtown.

Chris' house is really beautiful and the bedroom where I stayed was just as described. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. He included shampoo bottles, soap and cereal bars :) He was gentle, polite and easy to talk to. The directions, key delivery and everything was really good and on time. John is a great host. Met me at the place at the time I suggested. My whole stay the place was very quiet. The room is clean and everything was provided. John is very accommodating when I asked if I can put my bottle waters and soda in the fridge. You can see downtown from the room. It has great view at night. Uber ride to downtown is quick and easy. There's nothing that I can think of that is bad in this place. Would definitely stay here again if I am in Houston.

Host was very nice. We drove into town late due to traffic and he had no issues waiting up for us. Provided towels, washcloths, shampoo etc. There was WiFi. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

I honestly wasn't in town but for a quick, last-minute business trip, but within my short stay I can say that Marc and Monica were super friendly and accommodating - private room with an adjoining private (half) bathroom and a super easy and convenient entry and exit setup. I definitely recommend staying here, especially if you're looking to explore the East Downtown area.

Both Marc and Monica were very welcoming. They communicated very well and made sure we knew how to get in when they weren't home etc. We were even kindly surprised with a little food basket, as we were quite hungry when we got there it was a very nice touch! Monica and Marc are lovely hosts. They were really helpful with our really early arrival and their house had a bus stop just in front of it. We just stayed for a night because we did not have more time but we really liked the room and it was exactly what we needed after a long day. Thank you so much again.

This was my inaugural experience with Airbnb & I couldn't be happier after having stayed with Marc & Monica. Monica answered any questions I had prior to my stay in a timely manner. The room is a nice large room with a half bathroom attached. The entrance is quite well organised also, allowing a private experience. Marc & Monica were the perfect hosts & were very easy to talk too. I wouldn't hesitate staying with Marc & Monica again, in fact they would be my first point of call when next I visit Houston. A+ across the board!

Great location, very easy going hosts who will answer any question you need. Simple room and would recommend for those who enjoy the location. Close to several of the must see spots (moon tower patio, 8th wonder brewery, walking distance to the stadiums).

I was notified at the very last minute that the unit had no internet and in fact it hadn't even been installed (also the TV). As a business traveller the internet is critical for my function. I was told to simply go to the lobby and use the free internet there as if that was an acceptable solution. The host did nothing to solve the issue and simply choose to blame the owner who is in Africa. I was told everyday that the next day AT&T would be there to install internet, which of course never happened. The Integrity of the owner/host is a disappointing low of my trip and booking this location caused significant problems for me. Additionally, Airbnb provided no assistance in solving the problem or holding the host accountable for their clear deception. How this practice is allowed is hard to understand. The unit itself is nice and the only reason this isn't rated the lowest possible. It is however lacking many items one expects when traveling and outside of a couple plates and cups is totally lacking. Shame on the host and the low integrity displayed.

This time, she's so considerate that she prepared the laptop adapters for me when she knew i'm coming again! Hahahhaha so nice host! she remembers your needs! And a very lovely dog!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a wonderful private-room Air B&B. Definitely one of the nicest private-room setups I have stayed at. Their checkin and key setup is the best I've seen and My-Han and her husband are incredibly friendly. The space was new, clean and airy. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great value near Houston's downtown.

Very private and quiet accommodation, clear instructions and easy access for check-in. The hosts were very friendly and the place was very clean. Bed is very comfortable and the welcome snacks are a nice touch. It was a very rainy weekend so I used Uber a lot and trips downtown were in the $5-6 range, very affordable. Also reasonably close to Hobby airport. A great stay, highly recommend.

Natalie was a great host to my husband and I during our visit to Houston for a wedding. Entry into the house was seamless. We were immediately taken by the neighborhood - we love the quiet, yet convenient location in Midtown! It's just a few minutes in an uber from some great spots in town including a great beer garden called Axelrad. We were delighted by how clean and charming the bedroom and bathroom were, making for a very comfy annex. It was such a pleasant surprise to be invited to eat with Natalie and her boyfriend Mark. They cooked a delicious breakfast - bagels, eggs, bacon, and avocado! Mark is a bacon pro! We really enjoyed swapping travel stories and learning about their very interesting backgrounds. The second floor is beautifully decorated and very airy. It was a great place to spend a weekend. We would definitely stay with Natalie again if we go back to Houston!
