New central air and heating. We now have WiFi! Guest apartment is separated from the main residence by a large garage.Parking is next to the apartment entrance.The location is 5 minutes from Dayton, 35 minutes to Houston, 10 minutes to Mont Belvieu, 15 minutes to Baytown.There is an outside seating area under the beautiful oak tree .The calm setting of trees mixed with the sounds of nature and the comfort of the apartment will make you a fan of Out In The Country.

Susy’s place was a nice change of scenery for my buddies and myself. Getting to be right on the river in a quiet place was just what we needed for this week. Highly recommend for a guys weekend for people on a budget!

We had a wonderful stay at Debbie's place. It was a fishing trip with my husband away from the big city. It was very convenient that the whole back yard is surrounded by water. We caught catfish, carp and many turtles. There's also gars that you can see swimming in the water. I love birds and Debbie's place is a bird haven. We saw a lot of cardinals, goldfinch and an owl showed up one night while we were fishing in the dark. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place. The house is very simple with an old times charm. You can tell someone put a lot of love into this place. It was a great place to disconnect from the hustle of the big city and connect with nature. We really enjoyed it!

My husband and I had such a blast celebrating our one-year anniversary there and will certainly be recommending it to our friends. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful. Checkout was the easiest I have ever experienced with an Airbnb. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience there!

It was all around 5 star. Serene, clean, great instructions, clear communication and hospitable as well. Highly recommended and I more than likely I will visit and stay again in the near future. If you love nature, the outdoors, a lkind host and a very clean space with all the amenities you need, this is a great place and priced affordable as well. Worth every penny.

Amazing place. This was a chance for me to unwind in nature and work on my business and it was exactly what I wanted. You have the sounds of nature, you have a nice patio, and you really are alone by yourself. It is highly recommended for a romantic weekend or just a way to get away. Be aware-I brought lots of bug spray. Just put some on yourself every three hours and you’ll be good. I love the additional touch with the Keurig coffee machine, and the snacks on the counter. They even had water bottles, which was really nice!
