Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Rockingham County

I wish I could back 1000 times over. Everything was fully stocked beyond expectations. We had such a good time with the neighbors cats who came to visit us every day by the fire pit. We loved the quiet home it was everything we were looking for and more. Would recommend this to anyone going to the area. Lots of fun things to do near by the national park, caverns & apple house. Couldn’t beat this trip if I tried. I can’t thank the host enough for a great experience. We didn’t want to leave lol.

The house was beautiful and very new and very comfortable. Location is peaceful and quiet. We even saw some deer in the back one morning. My family felt very comfortable and at home and enjoyed our stay. Plenty of parking and the family enjoyed the game room! Yuliya was a wonderful host. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

We rented this place for the night after JMU graduation. It was my 5 young adult & teen kids and 5 of the graduate’s friends. It was PERFECT for us! Most of the kids stayed up all night playing games, listening to music, sitting at the fire, and enjoying the hot tub. We grilled burgers and enjoyed dinner around the big dining table. They had a wonderful time and great memories were made. Michael was an awesome host, super communicative, and was cool to give us a flexible checkout since nobody was coming to glean until the following day. I really appreciated that with the zombies I had to rally that morning. Nice bonuses: coffee and creamer on site, a 2 car garage, awesome deck that felt like a tree house, jetted tub that I was sad I didn’t get the time to use, sufficient kitchen and grill tools on site. Will stay again if we get the chance!

I stayed here for 2 nights, and it was idyllic! the main bathroom was SO luxurious (we're talking heated toilet seat, wall mirrors, HUGE fancy tub big enough for my 6 foot frame), the deck and surroundings were beautiful, the bed I slept in was beyond comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. It's obvious that even though this is an older cabin/home, Mike and staff have put significant effort and care into renovations, and the areas where it shows its age are endearing rather than worrying. Mike was super responsive and helpful during my stay, and I had a wonderful time! I'd definitely recommend anyone staying here check out the community library, it's a ~5 minute drive away and it was such a cute find! Two things to note --- the last 10 minutes of the drive up to the cabin were a little harrowing, with single-lane roads meant to accommodate two cars, and one big switchback, but nothing an old car couldn't do! Also, the fire alarm in the kitchen is SUPER sensitive, but nbd!

We really enjoyed our quick stay at Leah's place. My kiddos especially loved the hot tub and my dog loved the screened in porch. It was very peaceful. Exactly as described. Leah was friendly and responsive. Would recommend

This place is heaven on Earth! The house is gorgeous and it’s full of details that make it extremely cozy. Jack is a wonderful host! Be prepared for a very friendly man, always willing to socialize and make you feel like home. I am so happy that we found this place, so close from the park and wineries. If you want to spend the day at the house, that’s also a great idea, because the backyard is full of trees, birds and places to relax. Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll see cats, wild turkeys or even deer. Ask Jack for recommendations basically about anything! He’ll provide you with fun stories and a huge respect for nature. This really felt like our country, Chile 🇨🇱. We’re coming back sooner than later ☺️

Good place for staying between the park and C'ville - it has everything you need and Jack was very kind and provided breakfast. The house shows its age but with its Tuscany style charms. The highlight for me was the creek that runs through the property - enjoyed sitting by it and sipping coffee in the morning!

We stayed at Darwin’s beautiful and clean home for my son’s JMU graduation. We had plenty of space for all of us and we were very comfortable. Darwin is very responsive to any issue and the check in is very easy. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet place to stay.

Veronica is an amazing host and we had a wonderful time staying there. The place is true to the name - A Time to Chill. We felt right at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kids had a fun time playing arcade games and Foosball. Our evenings were spend mostly in the backyard either in the hot tub or having fun around the bonfire. We couldn't try the pizza oven and felt we should have stayed longer. Definitely, a highly recommended place and we will love to be back soon.

Jack was a wonderful host. He was attentive and responsive throughout my stay. He made me breakfast every morning which was a huge perk. I hope to come back someday.

Jack was such a gracious host, providing us a true bed & breakfast experience (he made us omelets and tea in the morning). He has a beautiful property that he welcomes you to explore. The room was very spacious and clean, and the home was relatively easy to find. We even had a dip in the jacuzzi. Would definitely recommend this beautiful space and friendly host.

Very nice place in the Shenandoah mountains. Corey is a very good host. We have been to two of his properties, and he has always been very accommodating. This cabin is at a nice location and accurately described in the pictures. We visited with 4 adults, 1 baby and 2 dogs and this space was perfect for us. We sighted two black bears in the evening outside in the woods, which was quite fun. The cabin is equipped with basic supplies, which were enough for a 2 night stay for us. Our family enjoyed the game room. The access road to this property is a bit steep, so be prepared to drive up a terrain. The river access is down the hill about 5-10 mins drive from the cabin. Overall an enjoyable stay.

If you’re looking for a mountain top oasis - this is your place! The road up to the home *is* very steep, but once you’re up there it is completely worth it! I would certainly suggest a vehicle with high clearance and some horsepower to get you there. The home was clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and was perfect for a ladies get away. We were visited by a little bear, watched a beautiful sunset, and witnessed a crazy storm rolling in. We spent some time at the community river front property as well which was a wonderful additional experience (but beware… the road along the river sees cars driving at reckless and dangerous speeds!) Thanks for the great location!

Lea’s place was phenomenal, I highly recommend this stay and Lea as a host. Amenities were great, the place was clean, and if we’re back down that way, we’ll for sure be visiting again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The check in process was easy, views were great, hot tub was nice. Only complaints would be the bed as it was not comfy/very squeaky. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we visit Shenandoah National Park.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was easy to find and access. It is conveniently located in Luray close to the town and attractions, but also far enough away to unplug and have privacy. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit while star gazing. Would highly recommend and would book again!

This was my second time staying at Cuddly Cub. I had a fantastic three days/nights. It is a beautiful cabin surrounded by woods with lots of deer and rabbits. Just fantastic. I highly recommend staying here. Max
