Such a nice, secluded hideaway! The view was as amazing as it was peaceful. My family had a great time.

My adult siblings and I are originally from the area, and needed to visit a local loved one at a challenging time. Maggie’s home was just perfect: beautiful, spacious, gracious and easy to access — and so peaceful and quiet, perfect for our needs. A real sanctuary. We stocked up on groceries from local luxurious organic market the Good Earth and cooked and ate all of our meals in the peaceful, beautiful, calm environment. (Kitchen had good pots and pans, too!) Really ideal.

Previous reviews mentioned train noise but the house was well insulated so it was very muted. Blackout blinds and double-glazed windows did their job. The Folgers coffee set up was excellent and they left creamers. Beds were new and clean. Seating was limited, but we are a couple. Everything worked, especially the heater, since it was cold. We will stay again when we visit family nearby.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was peaceful and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with beautiful views. One of the biggest highlights was how welcoming they were to our pups. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication was excellent; they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Veronica's exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect—everything we wanted to see was just a short 10–15 minute drive away. The home itself was spotless, spacious, and looked exactly like the photos. Veronica was an exceptional host, always quick to respond and incredibly kind throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This accommodation was fantastic. Lovely private location within trees, but also a view across to a mountain range in the distance. It was very spacious with a kitchen, dining and sitting room, open plan with big windows, so it was very light. The gas fire was striking and effective. The kitchen was well equipped, you could make meals easily and not have to dine out all the time. The bedrooms were comfortable. One is en-suite, and the other bedrooms each had a bathroom nearby, so that was a luxury, as we did not have to share. A highlight was the gym. We used it regularly and it had enough equipment and space that 3 people could use at the same time. There was a very spacious deck and comfortable outdoor furniture that was great to use on the sunny days. Mill Valley is a great place, plenty of restaurants, nice shops. Accessible to San Francisco and also Marin County (Muir Beach, Stinson Beach, Mt Tamalpais). We used Ubers for local trips and they came quickly. A fab place to stay!

Great location, just north of downtown. Great price. Very private. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything as described. Well-stocked kitchen, perfectly capable of cooking meals. Lots of space. ~15 min walk to Berkeley Bowl, which is a great place to pick up groceries. Some reviews mention hearing footsteps overhead; there is an apartment overhead, and the sound is about as loud as you would expect for living in a lower-level apartment. Joe is very quick to respond to questions, which reduces any issues that might come up. I had some problem with the WiFi, and Joe replied quickly to help me troubleshoot the issue. Overall a smooth experience.

I had an amazing experience staying here! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in super easy. The dogs can get a bit loud upstairs but the place felt like a home.The neighborhood was walkable with many stores a few blocks away. Great spots to eat and close to the BART. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Heidi’s place is one of my best air b n b experiences. Her house is clean comfortable, snacks and cookware made for an easy transition. The apartment was beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed. It really feels like she cares about her guests and their experience. The unit is quiet and parking was always right in front. Really nice cafe nearby. Laundry mat was clean and easy to get a machine on the weekdays. I live in oakland but needed a place to stay for a month and it was a mini vacation staying by the lake. A few times I ran into Heidi as she was out walking her dog, she is a joy.

Jonathan's place was truly like home. We particularly appreciated the full kitchen, well-equipped, which enabled us to cook several meals rather than always eating out (although the neighborhood has many interesting ethnic restaurants). The beds were comfy -- both had reading lights -- and screens in both bedrooms and the living room.

I stayed here for a month and it was great, I highly recommend! As described and seen in the pictures. Annie was helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. I think this apartment is perfect for 1-2 people with a child or small/medium-sized pet. Clean and cozy with nice, warm lighting. The bed was comfy, kitchen was small but well-equipped, living room was roomy with a medium-sized couch, and bathroom more than sufficient. I loved relaxing on the deck as well! The neighborhood is hilly and beautiful, close to bus/ferry/restaurants/stores. Touristy downtown, but not as much in the immediate vicinity. I walked A LOT with my dog and enjoyed it, but the hills can be steep! Definitely a very safe area. The only “con” is, in my opinion, it’s just a bit expensive for the size. However, I understand it’s in a pretty wealthy neighborhood and am sure Airbnb fees/taxes account for a decent part of the cost. Suffice to say, this is a once-in-a-long-while stay for me. Hopefully that’s fair.

Couldn’t recommend more! The house is split up between 3 private properties or stays, our group rented out all 3 properties and it was perfect! The decor is gorgeous, the beds were sooo comfortable and the location was perfect. Would 1000% stay again!

Great, safe location! Big house with everything we needed for our large family of 7. Comfy beds, and lots of room to spread out and for the kids to play! Sam was an awesome host too! He helped us late night while we were dealing with an issue at another airbnb. He called us right away to connect, went over to the home and turned the heat on for our arrival, let us check out late since we came in so late, really saved the day on the bad experience we were having with another owner, and he was so friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay again and are so thankful to have found such an awesome host!!! AWESOME STAY!!!

Had an amazing stay at Gina’s house for a girls retreat weekend. The house is amazing with really good vibes! Kitchen was fantastic for cooking group meals and overall could not have asked for a better place!

Exceptional hilltop home! Highly recommend. Full wall of windows offers stunning views, and living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed throughout. Entire home has a designer touch. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, furniture and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the fragrant, well-maintained spring garden, with numerous blooming daffodils and hyacinths. Walking paths throughout. Geraldine was responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants that proved spot-on. Geraldine has clearly put careful thought into creating a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.

Our group had the best time staying here. It had everything we needed and the surroundings were so peaceful. It was exactly what we hoped for out of a weekend getaway in Sonoma. Janelle was also very responsive when we had questions. We hope to stay here again in future!
