Lake house vacation rentals in Rangeley

Beautiful property right on the water about 45 minutes to Sugarloaf. Amazing views overlooking the lake! Ample space for several guests, well-stocked kitchen with ample cooking supplies and utensils. Would recommend the Thai restaurant in Farmington if going out to eat.

The cabin is super convenient for sure love where we were skiing. It was a beautiful cabin with descriptions and amenities listed, and photos provided spot on. We would recommend this for anyone and everyone!

We were grateful to be able to stay with Donna at her camp and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The house is cozy and was great for 3 people, and the firepit and lake view are hard to beat! Thank you for sharing your space!

Went for a fishing weekend with my brother. We were both very happy with the place. Boat launch for great pond was a 3 minutes drive and the boat launch for long pond was 7 minutes away which was nice so we could fish multiple lakes easily. Had dock access from great pond for the boat and was the end of channel that was well marked. We were able to dock the boat overnight there were no issues. A few places to eat nearby with access via boat (just a bit further up the channel with public dock behind the post office) and are also walkable. Clean space and great view. Beds were very comfortable for an Airbnb. Would recommend, great value, will stay here again if we come back to Belgrade.

Gail's cottage was a true gem of a find! She and Salinan, her co-manager, were excellent communicators and always answered our questions quickly. The cottage is extremely comfortable, well-kitted out with EVERYTHING one could need for a comfortable stay, and located in a cute cottage community that is directly on Flagstaff Lake. We loved walking down to the shared beach and sitting in the sun each day for a bit, where the view of the mountains is spectacular. We would have taken out the kayaks and used the outdoor fire pit but we were busy hiking locally each day...we'll get to that next time because we already plan to visit again next fall. This would be a great summer vacation spot, too! All in all, a terrific week thanks to beautiful and cozy accommodations (the beds are soooo comfy), fantastic scenery in the neighborhood, great local hiking and sporting activities (my husband bird hunts and he said it was "bird hunting paradise"), and great hosts.

We had a great stay in the lake cottage! It is perfect for kids to look for tree frogs and salamanders in the woods, find pretty rocks snorkeling, warm up by the fire after and play games after dinner. I was worried about 1 bathroom for 8 people, but it never became an issue. Scapes cafe is only 5 minutes away and they have a lot of breakfast/lunch options (cheddar biscuits are a must have!) Be careful on the deck, it can be a little slippery when wet, bring a sharp knife if you plan on a lot of cooking and you’ll have the best time!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of 10 friends and had the best time! Before we arrived, Emily and Anthony sent over a super helpful list of instructions along with recommendations for things to do in the area. They were also really responsive whenever we had questions, which made everything super easy. The location is great with a beautiful water view! While we mostly hung out at the house, we made a grocery run and everything we needed was just 5–10 minutes away. For anyone wanting to explore more, they even had a binder with local recommendations, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved the bonfire setup and the awesome selection of board games—it made for such a fun and cozy weekend. Would absolutely stay here again!

Exceptional hosts! Very attentive, especially prepared well around our arrival and departure which surrounded snow storms on both ends. Conditions at Saddleback and local touring center were exceptional and a reasonable distance from the house. We also were very appreciative that there was a great selection of baby equipment, which meant we didn’t have to bring more stuff. The house was extremely well set up for 7 adults, a 6mth old and 2 dogs. Excellent place to stay.

Steven went above and beyond to make my family’s stay enjoyable. Upon an accidental overbook Steven refunded us the days and extra for his mistake. He also went out of his way to gift us some drinks since I had mentioned it was my birthday weekend. He was very happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, it was a nice stay and his home was beautiful.

It was a perfect home for our family Christmas gathering! Definitely would stay here again.

Everything was great. Would not hesitate to stay there again. I did have some trouble accessing the key from the lockbox when i arrived. The only other negative was for the 1st 2 days there was a big group ( 20-30 people) staying next door. They partied pretty hard.

This place was perfect and anything we could ever ask for. Everything from the cozy interior, to the outdoor hammock, and the deck on the lake where we spent almost every morning taking in the tranquil surroundings. Rick was an amazing, responsive, and kind host, which made the stay even better. Would love to come back one day! <3

I absolutely loved Tara's place! it was exactly what we needed! private, clean, peaceful and absolutely beautiful! the photos don't do it justice! and Tara, herself was an amazing host. Super helpful, attentive, kind and very sweet! I cannot thank you enough for everything!

The waterfront location is gorgeous and the house is clean, comfortable and pretty. Alyssa is in excellent host—very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay on the lake. The views were incredible and the dock is great for fishing and any water activities. The house was so cozy and a peaceful place to land at the end of an adventurous day. Elizabeth was so responsive to any questions we had during our stay, she’s a great host.

The area in front of the camp is beautiful and just steps from the lake. We saw and heard several loons right in front of the camp. Moxie falls was just a 10 minute drive and worth the hike in. The camp had a modern toilet and shower and was very clean. It is a rustic camp so the water only works when the generator is running. We are more concerned with being close to nature so didn't mind the lack of technology and modern conveniences.

Seldom do you stay in an Airbnb this well stocked in cooking supplies—and so homey. Really does feel like a well-loved home. Very much enjoyed staying here, would love to come back!

Beautiful house and beautiful location. Very comfortable for two families with kids. The pond is gorgeous and perfect for swimming and kayaking. Saw bald eagles and minks and loons from the dock. A relaxing and wonderful space.

Host was flexible & very responsive. We had a great stay & the location can’t be beat! Would definitely stay again for a weekend in the mountains.
