Lake house vacation rentals in Rangeley

Beautiful property right on the water about 45 minutes to Sugarloaf. Amazing views overlooking the lake! Ample space for several guests, well-stocked kitchen with ample cooking supplies and utensils. Would recommend the Thai restaurant in Farmington if going out to eat.

The cabin is super convenient for sure love where we were skiing. It was a beautiful cabin with descriptions and amenities listed, and photos provided spot on. We would recommend this for anyone and everyone!

Ryan always promptly responded to any questions. Kitchen had great appliances and plenty of cookware. We were very comfortable staying in this home. Oil heat was great & the pellet stoves made it very cozy. We stayed over Christmas & Ryan had a decorated Christmas tree set up in the living room with the lights on when we arrived - very nice!! Our rental car was a gas/electric and we were able to plug into an outlet at the garage each evening. We would definitely stay here again.

Went for a fishing weekend with my brother. We were both very happy with the place. Boat launch for great pond was a 3 minutes drive and the boat launch for long pond was 7 minutes away which was nice so we could fish multiple lakes easily. Had dock access from great pond for the boat and was the end of channel that was well marked. We were able to dock the boat overnight there were no issues. A few places to eat nearby with access via boat (just a bit further up the channel with public dock behind the post office) and are also walkable. Clean space and great view. Beds were very comfortable for an Airbnb. Would recommend, great value, will stay here again if we come back to Belgrade.

We cannot say enough about Michael and his amazing lake home. He opened his lake home to us when we were in a place of sadness after our brother died he was amazingly responsive and even checked on us numerous times. It’s not about owning a home that you rent out it’s about being an empathetic person and that’s exactly what these owners are. They were absolutely phenomenal. Thank you again for your kindness and letting us use your home during a time of need and comfort. We will be back.

The other reviews sum it up nicely - Michael’s place was even better than expected. Big, spacious, and even more comfortable than we’d hoped. The place is much larger than it appears in the photos, and that TV and sofa are big and cozy. We visited in the dead of winter, but will definitely return in the summer to take advantage of the lake and the fishing. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had.

We had a great stay in the lake cottage! It is perfect for kids to look for tree frogs and salamanders in the woods, find pretty rocks snorkeling, warm up by the fire after and play games after dinner. I was worried about 1 bathroom for 8 people, but it never became an issue. Scapes cafe is only 5 minutes away and they have a lot of breakfast/lunch options (cheddar biscuits are a must have!) Be careful on the deck, it can be a little slippery when wet, bring a sharp knife if you plan on a lot of cooking and you’ll have the best time!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of 10 friends and had the best time! Before we arrived, Emily and Anthony sent over a super helpful list of instructions along with recommendations for things to do in the area. They were also really responsive whenever we had questions, which made everything super easy. The location is great with a beautiful water view! While we mostly hung out at the house, we made a grocery run and everything we needed was just 5–10 minutes away. For anyone wanting to explore more, they even had a binder with local recommendations, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved the bonfire setup and the awesome selection of board games—it made for such a fun and cozy weekend. Would absolutely stay here again!

We recently moved from Alaska to Maine and needed a place to stay while looking for a house. We stayed at David’s for 2 months and it felt like being in our own home. The view on the lake was beautiful and everything was provided upon arrival. David periodically checked with us to make sure everything Wes going well and was very responsive if we had a question. We would definitely stay at David’s place again!!! I highly recommend David’s place if visiting central Maine.

We stayed here for the Fourth of July, the house was homey and stocked with some goodies when we got there! Every room was clean, there was music playing and menthol essential oil misting when we walked in which was so welcoming. Feras checked in multiple times to see if there was anything we needed. The house is right on the water, 2 minutes from a pub and the marina that has a cafe Fire wood was left for us to have a fire each night which was so thoughtful! We will absolutely be booking through Feras and his beautiful homes again and again! Highly, highly recommend!!

We had a great, low key girls weekend at Alanna’s place. The hot tub was great for soaking in, and right off the deck. We brought our snowshoes and enjoyed snowshoeing down to the lake and around the property. The tvs in the living room felt a bit over powering, but we figured out how to put two to sleep so we could just listen to music on the third.

We had a lovely stay. The house is across the street from the lake and surrounded by woods. Beautiful tall white birches outside of the back door. We heard a barred owl and a loon on the lake. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. This was a perfect place to stay for our nephews wedding. We hiked the round top trail in Belgrade, which we recommend. We had breakfast at Java Joe’s in Farmington, very good

Everything was great. Would not hesitate to stay there again. I did have some trouble accessing the key from the lockbox when i arrived. The only other negative was for the 1st 2 days there was a big group ( 20-30 people) staying next door. They partied pretty hard.

Rebecca was a fabulous host. The house was absolutely beautiful and located directly on Messalonskee Lake. Sunsets were stunning. We were there for Colby parents weekend and this was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend.

This cottage and location was perfect for our family! It was very comfortable and spacious- the outdoor patio and dock were perfect for hanging out on the beautiful lake. We will plan another trip next year! Vacassa was easy to communicate with and always was quick to respond. 5 star ⭐️ rating all around!

Michael’s place was perfect for our family vacation! It was exactly as described. The walkability into town was perfect. Michael was very quick to respond with any questions we had. We had the best time and would definitely recommend!

Conrad's home is great for families. Plenty of room to spread out, very homey and comfortable. Plenty of supplies like sheets, towels, blankets, pillows, well stocked kitchen. We had such a good time hanging out playing games after skiing. We would highly recommend this home for a vacation. The lake looked beautiful too, but we didn't have time to explore it this trip. Conrad was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a big thumbs up!!! We'd love to rent again.

Our family and friends had a great time at the Valhalla cabin! The views were breathtaking and the property was peaceful and quiet. The hosts left a welcome basket along with a beautiful packet including the history of the property and the surrounding restaurants and activities. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities. The cabin was cozy and made you feel right at home! We have recommended it to many friends already!

Our group of 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 3 and up) had a great time! The place is peaceful and private. We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the backyard, and being able to use the grill for most of our meals. The house is VERY well stocked. The home is outdated and there's no AC (which is made clear in the photos/description). The basement is unfinished and wood is being stored inside, so it does smell musty and has a lot of spiderwebs. My kids asked both to extend our stay and if we can book it again so it didn't bother them. We would highly recommend the place

Pristine and beautifully kept house on Rangely lake. The front of the house is on the main road through downtown Rangeley, but it's a cute little town and the Lakeview is spectacular. Kitchen was extremely well stocked in the living room was comfy and cozy. Big dining room table and kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Great place!
