House vacation rentals in Portage Lakes

The new location where we stayed in the Ohio area where we were visiting was fabulous. Lee was very gracious to allow us to stay there, even though she wasn’t quite ready to have her home available to visitors. We did not need to communicate with Kellie as Lee was right there on the property and was available as needed.

Everything was great! We did have to hunt down some towels and the lock to the game room was not working, but the host was extremely helpful and very responsive. Would definitely book with host again he was great! House was as deceived and perfect for our family that was in town for a wedding. Loved the kitchen and the ping pong dining table was a hit with our crew! Thanks for a great stay!

We had an enjoyable stay! The house was very clean and had everything we could need away from home for 2 nights. The pool was 80 degrees and perfect for our kids!

Our stay was great we enjoyed the hot tub and the games that were in the house. We also loved the kitchen and how big the sofa was. Can’t forget how comfy the beds were. Definitely would stay again.

This home is lovely. It was exactly what my family needed to unwind. We were unable to take full advantage of the pool with weather and the pool just being open, and there were tiny ants that you can tell were being addressed. The bedding was great, many cozy pillows and blankets made everyone feel at home. The upstairs are steep and a slight shift in the floor so I was nervous to have in-laws go up and down so we switched rooms- for able bodies folks there is no issue just something to note if you have more then one couple that would need accommodations. THERE is a sign noting such on the stairs as a reminder. The location was perfect. The views of the area were beautiful. I would return again!!

Kari’s Airbnb was a beautiful and spacious home situated on a generous piece of land—perfect for our group of 16, with plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The house was spotless and exactly as described, with all the listed amenities thoughtfully provided. Kari was a fantastic host—friendly, attentive, and quick to respond. When we encountered a minor water issue one morning, her husband promptly arrived with a plumber and had it resolved within a couple of hours. We truly appreciated their quick action and clear communication. It made our stay even more enjoyable! I would stay here on my next trip to Dover and would recommend anyone in a large group do the same!

MY first Airbnb experience, but I've got to say it was an awesome place to stay for the week!! TONS of room, super quiet, and watching the birds from the back porch was fun! There were a few 'hiccups' early on , but Danielle was super prompt and helpful whenever we needed her!

Kevin’s place was great. So peaceful and everything you need right there. Plant of space for larger groups love the fact you have a whole separate loving space downstairs to kind of be separated. Everything was wonderful beautiful lake. Kevin is super responsive and always there to answer questions. Would highly recommend.

The house was great. Excellent location since Main Street Wooster was within walking distance. There were a bunch of restaurants and place to check out. House was clean and owners were responsive

Ruth’s Inn was immaculate. I have stayed at many Airbnbs and this was the very best for being clean with so many conveniences. Nightstands with cup holders and ports to charge cell phones. Don’t worry if you forgot to bring coffee - it’s there, as well as many other things you may have forgotten. Beds were very comfortable too. We thoroughly enjoyed the monster cookies left for a snack. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was adorable. So clean. It had everything we needed for our one night stay. There were six of us, old friends, and we reserved an igloo next door. We played board games, drank great beer at the brewery, and then had a great breakfast at the brewery before we left. It was a great trip. Highly recommend.

We had a great time! Jason is a great communicator and does a great job of making sure that your questions are answered and that you feel at home. We took our own boat with us and the boat dock was nicely set up and easy to use.

Thanks very much to Brad for providing such a great, well-appointed house. We’ve stayed in numerous Airbnb‘s around the world, and this home clearly is one of the top that we’ve ever stayed at. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. It’s extremely rare to see an Airbnb kitchen stocked with a generous number of clean, matching plates, glasses, cups, and silverware; sufficient kitchen tools; and nice, clean, and updated appliances. The air fryer was much appreciated, and there was even an electric pressure cooker; both were like new. The game room was very nice and the overall amenities too many to mention. The location was great for easy access, in a peaceful suburban setting, but still only five minutes from all the restaurants on Rockside Road. Perfect for our group of 8 adults. Easy check in and check out too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we’re back in the area.

Had a great time with our family here--in town to celebrate our daughter's graduation from University of Mount Union! Plenty of space for our group of 10. Loved the outdoor area with the deck w the water view, hot tub & outdoor TV, as well as the yard space & fire pit area!

Very cute house, conveniently located in the western suburbs of Cleveland. House was very clean and organized.

Lori’s place was clean, quaint, and comfortable. The yard was it’s selling point for us. It’s clear that Lori has put some real love into this yard. The fenced in feature was great for our dogs and it was reinforced in any areas with gaps too. Bring aluminum foil, plastic wrap and napkins if you need them. Also bring firewood and something to cook over the fire pit if you are interested in this feature. Plenty of linens, pillows and blankets are stocked up, including sheets to place over furniture for pups. Although some emergency toiletries are available, I would recommend bringing your own body soaps, shampoo and conditioner, ect. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking essentials, coffee and tea. Filtered water available in the kitchen too. The bathrooms could definitely use an update, but they were clean. The beds and couches that we used were comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and quiet.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! Julia was very responsive and accomodated our early check in request. The home is gorgeous! It was very homey, comfortable, well stocked and immaculate. We attended a wedding at Peacock Ridge and the location was fantastic. Highly recommend a stay!

It was another great stay at Ruth's place. Our 3rd year there and have already booked another stay. Nice place and Ruth is great to deal with and always a friendl host that makes you feel right at home!

We loved staying at this historic and lovely home in historic Peninsula. The owners Joe and Olga could not have been more kind, helpful and accommodating. The house was just as described in the description beautiful and well maintained. We loved that the house offered a downstairs bedroom and the upstairs bedrooms had their own private bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The large dining room was a plus for a large family gathering. The front and back porches are perfect for relaxing or enjoying time with family. The house is located in a great location within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and with easy access to Hudson. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Ohio. Highly recommend!!

We will definitely try to book Jeff's airbnb if my family ventures to the area again. The house was beautiful and clean and we felt right at home dragging our 6 children through the door.

Great little place; convenient for our Parma trip needs! Easy directions and good communication from Josh. Beds were a bit firm, but one of our group members slept so soundly that she's now considering a new mattress purchase after this trip.

Mabel is a kind, gracious, and flexible host. My husband and children enjoyed walking down the long lane with the views of rolling hills and farmland. We were thankful for the coffee, snacks, and especially the cold bottled water (as the tap water is fine but smells different from what we're used to). My children liked the books and games in the living room. We encountered a plumbing problem during our stay which Mabel's son took care of promptly. Our large family slept soundly on the three beds and two couches with the help of the window air conditioner units and comfortable bedding.

This is a fantastic little gem and we can’t wait to go back! It was so pretty and so quiet… you’re able to sit in the front porch and listen to the creek and just take a step back from reality. The beds were so comfortable and being able to just sit and enjoy the hot tub on a cool evening was amazing!

Such a nice house especially for a larger group or family. Also conveniently located within a 15 minute drive of all main Cleveland attractions. I would absolutely stay here again!
