What an amazing spot on the little canal, loads of wildlife right there! Comfortable space and beds. Although well off the beaten path, super clear directions and support from the host throughout our stay! Highly recommended for the adventurous! Provided kayaks were just so special! Thank you!

This place was beautiful. Very peaceful. Great hosts, very friendly. Had everything we needed. Very private. Greta for a weekend to unplug. Wifi is a little spotty and the geese are very friendly! Haha.

We were in town for a family wedding. Peaceful setting, gracious host and wonderful property made it perfection. The cabin was great. Grounds were beautiful. Blueberries are in the freezer 😘 Miss Ann, you are the best. Tim and I so enjoyed sharing our stories over breakfast. We wish you many blessings and hope to see you again soon. Hands down one of the best experiences! I’m only halfway through my week-long stay, and I already know this is a place I’ll be returning to. The host truly goes above and beyond—everything is comfortable, well-stocked, and thoughtfully prepared to help you unwind and enjoy every moment. They really put their guests first, and it shows. My partner is visiting from New York, and as a local, it’s been such a joy to share this peaceful, nature-filled escape. It’s also worth mentioning how kind and helpful the maintenance guy has been—super friendly and quick to assist with anything we needed. The entire team clearly cares about creating a great experience. It’s also an LGBTQ-friendly space, which made us feel especially welcomed and safe. Overall, just an amazing getaway—we honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend!

Beautiful scenery! Nice big patio overlooking the pond. The grandkids loved the animals and feeding the ducks. Nice western decor and big windows. Plenty of room for a group. Donnie was so helpful and gave us an ATV tour.

My nephew and I were on the hunt for the perfect cabin for the opening of deer season and this place couldn’t have been better. Ann was a fantastic hostess and her homemade biscuits were amazing! The cabin was comfortable, well-appointed, and exactly what we were looking for. We’re already looking forward to staying here again next season!

This place was beautiful. Donnie is seriously soooo nice, he helped us with our car when we had our bumper nearly half off. It was quiet and serene with the lake there. The wildlife watching was incredible. We did an ATV tour with Eric and saw the baby fallow dear and some blackbuck. The Pierre David’s deer were in their rutting season so it was like watching something out of National Geographic. It was kind of amazing waking up to see them right next to our car!

Very cute cabin set in a wonderful location with beautiful farm and nature views all around. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the surroundings.

This was an amazing camp to spend quality time with family. We will definitely be back and this may be our new family Easter get away tradition. We truly feel that this was one of the best places that we have stayed!!! Amber and David were the perfect hosts and we were provided everything that was needed for our crawfish boil and bbq.

Great location for fishing around Port Arthur. Stayed three nights and it met all our expectations. If I had to name one thing that could have helped was enough room for our boat and trailer. It was very tight, but a neighbor that takes care of boat ramp offered his yard and boat ramp parking area for next trip. Overall it was a great location and beautiful sunrises behind the bridge. We had everything we needed.

Absolutely stunning place. Took a spontaneous weekend trip to Holly beach and needed a place to stay. Absolutely incredible place for the price. Will definitely be back. Getting to it the first time is a little interesting but Debbie provides clear instructions that I had no problem figuring out! Place was so spotless to the point I wouldn’t mind eating off the floor LOL!
