Apartment vacation rentals in Playacar Beach

The host was very friendly and helpful. The property was just right for my husband and me. It’s located near 5th Avenida, we walked to and from it. You can’t beat the price.

Great spot, very central to 5th Ave, the beach, grocery stores, local restaurants (El Fogon). Car noises at night could be a bit loud but not a big deal and didn't affect our sleep. Beds are very hard, didn't bother us, but good to know.

Perfect location. 5 min walk to 5th Ave. 15 min walk to Cozumel ferry. 15 min walk to CMT area. Safe walk home at end of night. Away from the noise and crowds of 5th Ave. Great gym. Rooftop pool is nice touch. They recommended a driver from airport to the Airbnb when you arrive, and the ADO bus station is literally across the street two minutes so you can return back to Cancun airport on the bus. Staff at the condo were incredibly helpful and polite and always holding the door and cleaning the place so that was impressive. Slept great in the bed and the pillows were perfect for me. Giant water jug in kitchen was a nice touch. I can't recommend this place enough and Jacqueline and Joseph after hours were instantly responsive and extremely helpful. I'll stay here again or at one of their other properties!

*5/5 stars* I stayed at this place with my loved ones and everything went perfectly. The description and photos were totally accurate, so we knew exactly what to expect. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, and the location was ideal for exploring the city (by car) The only thing that could be considered a drawback is that the apartment is located on the top floor, which means that you have to climb a lot of stairs. However, this was not a big problem for us and it was worth it for the quality of the accommodation. Overall, I am very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers. The host was friendly and responded quickly to our questions. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Rudolph and his team were fantastic hosts—super attentive and always ready with great local recommendations that really helped me make the most of my stay. The apartment itself was spotless, stylishly decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The memory foam bed was incredibly comfortable, and the WiFi was strong throughout my stay. I also really appreciated how easy and safe it was to park on the side street just outside. It’s rare to find a place this close to such a breathtaking beach and cenote—less than 500 meters away—while still being tucked away in a peaceful, authentic Mexican neighborhood full of charm. I felt completely safe and loved the local vibe. All in all, it was a perfect stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway with amazing hosts!

Excellent location, good communication from the host, Edson and his dad were waiting for our arrival. The house was tidy and clean when we arrived, the pool is clean. This is a good option to stay at Playa del Carmen.

Fantastic Apartment one of my favourites and I’ve travelled a lot! Clean, homely love the garden. Also very reactive if there is any issues. Location is amazing exactly where we wanted with everything being 5-10 mins walk that we could need. Will come back!

The rooftop pool was the absolute gem of the stay for us. Concierge staff lovely and helpful especially for English only speaking guests. We missed having a tv in the living room (only in bedrooms). View from windows of mangrove area so very private and cool. Two streets off Calle5 with restaurants, and easy to walk a few more blocks to more local restaurants. It was hard to leave!

The best place to stay in Playa del Carmen, close enough to Quinta Avenida, but away from the noise. It's a very safe area; there are many restaurants, shops and pharmacies nearby and even a beach down the street. This is the second time we have stayed in the building (different apartments) and in general it is excellent, maybe it lacks a bit of maintenance, but it does not affect the stay inside the apartment at all. We ran into some bats at night, but they didn't come near or bother us. The rooftop pool is great and there are enough lounge chairs. The bed cushions had a slight odor, but the sheets and blankets were very clean. The air conditioning, refrigerator and hot water worked great. We'll stay here again on our next visit to Playa del Carmen.

Fantastic location on the central east side of Playa del Carmen, just a short walk from a great vegan taco spot El Bajon Vegano. The apartment is in a gated community, offering a secure and quiet environment. It also features a patio for drying clothes and a functional workspace—perfect for remote work.

I've stayed at the condo complex before so knew it was a great spot! It's super walkable to get groceries, the beach, the touristy area and the best, affordable tacos just a block away! Hassan's condo has a great lay-out with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and plenty of space. The balconies were really nice, too! The condo is clean and we loved having a water dispenser in the kitchen (can't drink the local water) and a washer/dryer. Unfortunately, the beds were a bit hard for our liking, the couch was not comfortable at all and the bar stools were too high so your legs can't fit under the counter. The only comfortable place to sit were the dining room chairs. Note that you have to bring your own laundry detergent to wash the 1 bath towel/person provided, there were no washcloths, no dishtowels to dry dishes, no paper towels & I'd recommend bringing your own shampoo, conditioner & body wash as the ones provided were watered down. Probably the best Airbnb I've stayed in. Easy check in, right by 5th Avenue and beach clubs. The apartment was clean, plenty of towels and refreshments. The windows are all tinted so noone can see in, small balcony that's great. Very spacious bed and bathroom with an additional toilet. Quiet area. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay, the pictures doesn't do justice at how beautiful it is and clean. Hot tub has different temperature settings and can make it a cold jacuzzi, staff at building was super helpful as well as host, easy to check in my rental car in the garage, will definitely be back at this place.

Alejandro’s place was perfect for my stay. It was exactly as described and in a very walkable area of town.

The place was… fine, but very mid for the price. Much smaller than expected — my partner is over 180 cm and had to hunch to get into the bathroom, which, by the way, had no sink. So we had to brush our teeth in the kitchen. The bathroom also had a really unpleasant smell, especially in the morning. Not sure if it was the pipes or standing water, but it was rough. The “luxury terrace with private jacuzzi” wasn’t that luxurious — no view, unless rooftops, old buildings and loud parties count. The location was decent though, and the apartment was at least clean. But it felt quite old: old towels, outdated vibe, and definitely not worth the price. We booked it last minute, so it was the best available option, but I’ve had way better places for the same price recently — modern, fresh, better equipped. Also, no shampoo or hand soap provided, the soap dispenser was completely empty. Not terrible, but wouldn’t stay again.
