Vacation rentals with beach access in Playacar Beach

The accommodation is very comfortable, we felt comfortable, it has everything you need to have a pleasant stay, the building staff is very friendly, well located, close to the beach and the rooftop pool, we enjoyed it a lot.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Douglas, Krystal and their team were always responsive and helpful. Sergio, the onsite manager, was especially helpful and when a couple small things needed maintenance, got them fixed very quickly. He also helped me when we needed to prepare for the Hurricane that came through Playa. (The building is made very sturdy, so nothing broke). It's very close to 5th avenue, beaches, grocery, everything you need. Also very convenient is the washing machine/dryer just outside the apartment! I would stay again. The apartment was great in a quiet peaceful area walkable distance to everything and close to the beach entrance for beach 72. Comfortable place, great pool, good bed and bathroom, kitchen has everything you may need and the porch has great views of the ocean.

The location and the apartment were excellent. The code for the key box was wrong so I lost several hours to get into the apartment and was unable to contact the host to fix the problem.

This apartment is beautiful. The front two rooms have amazing views of the ocean and are very comfortable. We are a family of 5 and the space accommodates us beautifully. The two teenagers squealed when they saw their room with two queen beds and what felt like an additional room just for the walk in closet and bathroom space. Juliana was the most perfect host, quick to communicate and very very helpful. Access to the beach was close and easy, the pool area is HUGE and the restaurants on site made food options easy. The local shops and restaurants are a quick taxi ride, which Juliana assisted us with. There’s also a Spa onsite which was a surprise. The services are very reasonably Priced and while we went to the spa itself I do believe there is an option for them to come to the unit. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had.

I’ve stayed in the same building before and it’s in the best part of playa, I love this area. Danielle was great, super accommodating, really easy to communicate with. The Apt is really well set up with amenities you’d need, kitchen, washer dryer, etc. cute balcony, great internet. Highly recommend

It was in a great location. We were able to walk to a lot of places. Even though it is close to some clubs and bars, we couldn’t hear any of it. The only thing that was off, the pictures showed a beach and there isn’t one. All in all, great place.

Probably the best Airbnb I've stayed in. Easy check in, right by 5th Avenue and beach clubs. The apartment was clean, plenty of towels and refreshments. The windows are all tinted so noone can see in, small balcony that's great. Very spacious bed and bathroom with an additional toilet. Quiet area. Highly recommend.

The house was super cute and spacious. The pool in the back was perfect. Location was amazing, only 2 minutes to beach, 5th ave, and ferry. Carmen was extremely helpful and prompt in her responses, ensuring an easy check in and any questions answered quickly. Fresh drinking water was available at the house. 10/10 would stay again if ever back in playa del Carmen!

Wow, BOOK it now! We loved our Spring Break retreat here. The sprawling house is amazing. It was perfect for our 2 families (9 ppl - 4 adults, 5 teen or preteens). We had enough room to spread out but all connect in the amazing spots throughout the property. The house setup gives lots of flexibility to accommodate variety of guests. The porch is awesome. The pool and waterfall are relaxing. The cenote is truly uniques. The support team (Ruth - housekeeper and Rafael - handyman, grounds) are a superb extra perk. We coordinated for a bfast and dinner by Ruth and perfecto. They treat the property and guests with real caring. The location is convenient for all types of activities. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend.

We were a group of 3 retired couples that stayed for 30 days at Laura’s place. We loved the area! Gated , safe area, secure property. Walked to beautiful beach , and restaurants, convenience stores. The house was nice and very well stocked. Rooftop was great! The community was very friendly and helpful

Our stay at Casa Jaybird was amazing. We spent a month here and could have easily stayed longer. The location really can't be beat - a super quiet street right off 5th Avenue and walking distance to the beach. But for being so close to all the action, the home felt so private when you were inside. Elizabeth was always responsive and quick to answer our questions, and Samuel was always so kind and happy to help with anything around the house. We have young children so we had white noise machines in all the bedrooms, so we didn't have any concerns with the noise as some reviews mention. There was some construction nearby during the day but truly nothing that really bothered us. We'll be back!

Manuel and Mayezka were very responsive. The bed is comfortable and the shower quite nice for Mexico standards. Powerful AC keeps the bedroom quite cold and the rest of the house a moderate temperature. It is a 15 minute walk from the beach. I felt very safe, even as a single woman. Enjoyed the private courtyard a lot. Only downsides, the kitchen is not very well stocked and I ended up taking a taxi into town almost every day via the InDrive app. Oh! Do yourself a favor and visit Kaawa Coffee Roaster/ Shop just a few blocks away! Full ham & cheese croissant sandwich with lettuce and tomato for $3 USD. Also, many people say there are so many expats in Playa that one does not need to speak Spanish, which is not true in this part of town (Nicte-ha). I'm in another AirBnB now that is walkable to 5th Ave for the same price, but the quality is severely lacking in comparison. So, if you are looking for a high quality place and don't mind taking a Taxi, this is a great choice!

Excellent, easy to find, the house was just like the photos, everything was tidy and clean, we liked the pool a lot, it was a plus. The care was excellent at all times. We would definitely go back.

Jeffrey and Mariel are the best host we ever had. Extremely responsive, full of suggestions. House is beautiful and recent, nice furniture same as photos. El Cielo is a quiet gated community 10 minutes drive from downtown PDC. Strongly recommended!

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay! This was the perfect spot for a family vacation — we had 6 adults and one baby, and the house fit us all so comfortably. It was quiet, peaceful, and just steps from the beach. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Bruno, the property manager, went above and beyond for us — helping arrange airport transportation, grocery delivery, and making sure we had everything we needed. He made the whole trip so smooth and easy. The house itself is gorgeous. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, the bedrooms were spacious and thoughtfully laid out to give everyone privacy, and the common spaces were perfect for hanging out together. We were able to walk to most places, but getting in and out of the development can be a bit of a hike, so taxis definitely came in handy. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences ever. 100/10 — we will definitely be back! Couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

You can’t beat the location of this property. One block off 5th Ave and a taxi stand on the corner.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I loved that I could request for a pack and play for my toddler and they also provided a high chair for eating! The house was set with coffee, beach toys for my kids (loved this), towels, a beach bag, water (so kind and saved us trip to the store). Loved everything about the hotel, pool. Felt super safe, we utilized the gym and it was wonderful. Only con to mention is that the bathroom in the hallway didn’t flush at times, it was super frustrating to deal with but we were able to use the main bathroom, so not the worst thing in the world.

Perfect location at the entrance to the most beautiful beach and quick access to 5th Avenue, close to a very good restaurant. The apartment is very good and equipped and spacious, clean. We had a great time. The host is very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend it.

When my partner and I arrived at the airbnb it was everything we had hoped for! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better airbnb! One of the main things I was looking for was lots of space and this airbnb was perfectly that. It is very spacious with a lovely layout. I especially like the layout of the bathroom it’s got a huge mirror and lots of counter space! I was pleasantly surprised with how nicely stocked the apartment was, with small tubes of shower gel, shampoo, etc. and paper towels in the kitchen, fresh towels for shower and the beach. We also really enjoyed the rooftop pool, it is beautiful!! The location is also perfect, we were walking distance from a plethora of restaurants, the beach, and 5th avenue. But it’s not too close, so we were not be disturbed by party music or anything! Lastly, I’ll touch base on the host, he was very nice and gave us helpful, clear instructions and always fast communication! Overall, excellent value, I would 100% book this airbnb again!

We really appreciated staying here. It was right on the gulf and was well represented by the pictures. Beds, sofa were comfortable. I would stay here again.
