Our stay in San Diego was short, but absolutely wonderful thanks to the peaceful and beautiful accommodations at Maison Orange. The home is thoughtfully designed, and the backyard was the perfect spot to relax. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe — we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Beautiful home! Hosts were very responsive & helpful with recommending coffee shops/restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

The location was the reason I chose this place. We were spending most of our time in Hillcrest for my friends bachelorette party & this was the only place around the area that allowed a decent amount of people. When it comes to airbnb's theres a certain expectation I have, since I also host so I may be a bit more critical than most. Great deck area! Positives: Location! I know people complained about that noise & the homeless around the area, but if you do not know the area, this is unfortunately what you get. The host, owner & renovator did a great job about keeping the gate & doors secured with a high fence & code locks. Negatives: Things are pretty, but not very functional. The stairs, you need to watch your head when going up, so be careful. The faucet in the kitchen has low pressure. The sofa bed needs a good deep clean, it was unusable when we were there. Overall: For the price, I think it is great for the location & the amount of people it holds. 8.5/10

Overall, a wonderful day. The kitchen was well appointed, and we were able to make many meals there. Love, the fact that they had some Tupperware and plastic baggies for us to use which came in handy when we were doing our various trips to Legoland, the zoo, etc. The main living space was great for a total group of six (2 families). And the kids loved the various balconies. The driveway was definitely a challenge, especially with two large vehicles, but we managed. The view to the water was beautiful and we enjoyed watching sunset and sunrise. The area was fantastic. We have stayed in La Jolla before and really enjoyed revisiting the farmers market, especially. It was also really nice to be able to have Whole Foods and Amazon deliveries to the house.

Loved the property and location! Great views that the pictures they have posted don’t do justice. Quiet safe neighborhood close to everything. Definitely would stay here again. The host was quick to respond and helpful. There were some scuffs on the walls in the bedrooms and some normal wear and tear on some of the sofas, but no reason not to give 5 stars all around.

Fantastic stay with an exceptional host! From the moment we booked, the host went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful. They were incredibly accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. The home itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of parking. You can really tell the host puts thought and care into every detail. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

Great location! For being so close to the beach, and with so many good restaurants to walk to, this was an oasis of peace and beauty. We had everything we needed to stay put or venture out. And the decor was tasteful and charming. Comfortable and roomy for 4 adults. We flung open the doors and windows for the fresh ocean air, and heard the waves. We also heard neighbors who were boisterous but all noise did indeed stop at 10:00 pm. we hope to return!

Rami was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond for us and made us feel extremely welcomed. His place is in an excellent location, with most places in San Diego no more than a 20 minute drive away as well. We would highly recommend staying at his place!

Had a nice stay with my family, loved going to dog beach which was not too bad of a walk, all the food nearby was pretty good

Hector was an amazing host, very proactive and great response time. The place is central to everything you need while visiting San Diego. My wife and I travel a lot, so this was a great choice for us. The place and neighborhood were very quiet and the place is well kept. We’d gladly book with Hector anytime we’re in SD… 10 out of 10 host.

This was hands down our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed at in San Diego. It was spacious and cozy, clean and secure, cool (They have AC :)) and quaint. It had loads of updated kitchen amenities including a sizable refrigerator, which is hard to find when traveling. The apartment kitchen was honestly amazing. The location is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants in La Mesa. We enjoyed Pink Rose Cafe and Farmer’s Table. There is a wrap around porch which we enjoyed during some of our meal times as well as for setting out our beach items in between trips. This place was the best combination of original charm found in the hardwood floors and crystal door knob alongside modern amenities like the amount of outlets thankfully everywhere we looked. And, I cannot forget to share how comfortable the beds were! Next time we travel back to see family in San Diego we will definitely be coming back here again.

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Such a beautiful & clean home! Home was well equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Chris had great communication. We were struggling a bit with all the technology in the home but Chris gave us very quick responses. My huge family and I had a great time & no issues. Heated pool was a major plus. Thanks Chris!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

This stay was beyond my expectations. The comfort of the home, the surrounding area, the beautiful views and peacefulness. It was all amazing, didn’t want it to end.

This villa was perfect for our wedding weekend at Mt Woodson Castle. It was only 4 minutes away! All amenities we could possibly need was provided. The view from the back of the villa was breathtaking. There were 2 jacuzzis that we wished we had time to use. Would definitely want to return again someday to just relax and enjoy the villa. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. Villa was easy to find thanks to very detailed instructions from the hosts.

Sheila’s beautiful villa was absolutely what we needed after a long exhausting day with two toddlers at Legoland. We had stayed at a residence before here so we knew the layout and amenities more or less. It’s exactly what we expected and more. The beautiful pools (with a baby friendly pool), the kids club, the beautiful views, the delicious on-site restaurants, complimentary fruit-infused water, the adorable stuffed animal seals for the kids, and more. We loved that the kids could stay in the living room. Sheila had provided two cribs that were already set up prior to our arrival. The check-in was super smooth! We communicated for days before our arrival and we felt really happy with everything!!! We loved the amenities and after Legoland, we needed a bit of luxury and rest for ourselves. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely villa.
