Beach house vacation rentals in Orange County

Had a lovely 15 night stay. Came from england with my mum and partner to surprise my uncle who lives in huntington beach for his 80th birthday. Lovely area and place. Not a good idea if you dont have a car and want to do 'touristy things' as everything is quite far away. We racked up 1500 miles in 2 weeks! But we would still go back. Maybe not ideal if you are a light sleeper as we were woken by upstairs who were up around 5am every morning. We could hear every foot step. But otherwise the area was quiet. The beach being just a few mins walk away was perfect. Also there is a supermarket just around the corner too. Also if you get the chance, check out the pirate house on 35th street!! (Its on google) its just a short walk away (2 streets) and well worth a look! All in all we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it. Sofas and beds were comfy. Shower was hot. Lots of tv channels and netflix too! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

Matina's property was just what we needed. Very nice and well kept. The location was amazing and everything (especially great food) was so close - short walk. The beach is very close (half a block) as well close to the pier and shopping/restaurants, etc. Lot's of things to do, and everything you could need for the beach and exploring were provided. Beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, etc. Instructions are detailed and clear. Matina was very communicative, gave great restaurant/food recommendations, and based on the property, cleanliness, and great things (bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels, etc.), it's clear she wants everyone to have a great visit and experience. Nice location !!! easy accesss!

The place was very nice, clean, and close to lots of restaurants. I wish it had been the upstairs unit, with not much space between the sliding door, the wall, and pedestrians walking by it was a little too close for comfort for me, otherwise it was a great condo. The hosts were very communicative. I have one CON, that bed is HARD AS A ROCK! But if you like a firm bed then it will work fine for you.

Location, location, location!! We loved our stay at this airbnb in Newport Beach. Being right on the sand just a few blocks from the pier and so many restaurants and shops was such fun. I worried about privacy with so many people walking, jogging, biking etc right past our front sliding doors - but I realized the glass is mirrored, so during the day no one can see in. At night there are full shades - so privacy was not a problem. The apartment looked just like the photos. It was very clean and had everything we needed despite how small it was. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Great to have garage parking - but beware - it's a small spot. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location, just a few feet from the beach, which made it super convenient for daily walks and beach time. The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach, which was a huge plus. Sean was a great host, very responsive and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful visit at Mai's place. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare our meals and we appreciated the amenities stocked (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, etc). Rooms were as described and we found it very spacious for a family of 6 adults and 3 young children. Our family really enjoyed the outdoor space, especially the Koi pond sitting area. The pool was very clean and we all enjoyed our time there, especially the kids. We made use of the BBQ and had no problems getting it started. Our only suggestion would be to update the instructions for the pool as it appears the host controls this via wifi and that is not stated in the instructions for use. Overall, we loved our stay and would not hesitate to visit again! Thank you to Mike & Mai for promptly responding to any of inquiries during the stay.

Enjoyed our stay at The Bright House! Loved how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood was, and how close it is to the beach and great shopping and restaurants.

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

Amazing location with the best floral surronded walk to the beach. Kids and adults loved hanging out here for our vacation.

We stayed here for our spring break with my 6 kids. Ages 23-5. We are not partiers just a family get away to relax and cook together. We booked this place based on the pool and it was worth it for us. The previous reviews were alarming about quiet hrs and it being strict but we had no problem and stayed in the pool till 945 at night. I did tell me younger 3 kids to be quiet at night to be respectful and they were for the most part but definitely got loud with their voice a few times. Great house no complaints beds were very comfy!

We usually stay at 5 star hotels in area but decided to try a home in light of our longer term stay. Fortunately, this home on west side of Pac-1, became available during our scheduled trip. Jynel's home met all of our interests and requirements: close walking distance to beach, a pool, easy access to town, comfortable layout, good parking, TV and a view of ocean. Jynel was very responsive to my questions during stay. Kitchen was well stocked and high-end coffee maker was nice touch and avoided having to go elsewhere. Host might consider adding a key for backdoor as easier to enter after beach. Although, we rarely stay at ABNB's or other online booked private homes, we thought Jynel's pricing was a good value; however, the cleaning fees should be a pricing range tied to each tenant circumstances determined post-stay) and ABNB's fees are still excessively high at 15%. In any case, Jynel should remain a superhost.

Sue’s place was perfect for my large family and I!!! We truly enjoyed being there and felt at home. The kitchen was very well equipped so we can make great meals! The area was phenomenal! If we ever came back, we’d definitely book here again!

We had a great time on Balboa Island- the place was comfortable and clean, and the host was very easy to communicate with.

We stayed during an Easter weekend. Our son is in the Army so we needed a spot for our family to stay to enjoy the holiday together. After looking online for a place by the ocean we found Casa Laguna. What appealed to us at first were the reviews and how response the host was. Well let me tell you it was even better than we anticipated. The rental is not only a block from the beach it also the grocery store and restaurants. We had no idea how central it was. We had a blast walking to get coffee and sitting on the beach, doing a kayaking excursion, dining on the beach and lots of shopping. It’s all right here. The rental has two floors and lots of room for our family of 5. The place was immaculate and the decor is adorable. Check in and out couldn’t be easier. The host communicates so quickly and even let my son drop his surf board off early. We had the best time. Our only wish was- to stay longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much. You made our Easter so special.

The house and the beach were great. There was plenty to do great restaurants within walking distance.

Super cute and thoughtfully furnished house in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, even on a holiday weekend! The house had everything we (and our fur babies) needed; parking was easy and a lovely walk to 2nd street. Rebecca was extremely kind and responsive, truly a gem to stay in Long Beach!

The place was as described. The host was excellent and responsive . Great location!! One suggestion is that neither bedroom had black out shades so the rooms would get dark when it was dark outside.

We had a great time at Wyatt's house in Dana Point. The location was wonderful - a view of the ocean and within easy distance of walking trails, the beach, restaurants, etc. Although you can technically walk to things, being on the east side of Pacific Coast Hwy, we decided that driving and parking (which was easy to get) was the better way to go. The house was very well stocked. There were also beach chairs, boogie boards, surf boards, a cooler, etc in the garage which were great! The house was clean and very comfortable. Easy access and Wyatt was very quick to respond during the rental process. There is street noise from the PCH, especially with the sliding glass doors open. I wore ear plugs at night and that worked just fine. One thing that should be mentioned is the VERY steep driveway. I suggest a smaller car that can turn around at the bottom of the drive rather than having to back up the drive. A big car works, just a bit more difficult.

we had a a really great stay in San Clemente and wouldn't hesitate to return to this lovely place if we were back in the area. it was v conveniently located to get to the Beachfront and also downtown for breakfast/ dining.
