Beach house vacation rentals in Orange County

Very quaint and cozy. Great location, so close to south Bayfront. Has everything you need. Our host was great.

The location is great. Just a few steps from the beach and a few blocks from bars and restaurants. Apartment is great. I recommend bringing own pillows. There is some street noise at weekends with people leaving bars and a nearby fire station, but nothing more than you would expect in a central location. You really can walk to a number of restaurants, bars and the beach. Much better value than any hotels in the area. Neighbors are quiet.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

Beautiful home with heat waterfront view. Neighbors were very warm and social. Great location near downtown Balboa Island. Once you park, no need to use the car. it is a gem that I would recommend.

Kirk was very friendly, responsive, and an overall nice guy. Loved the home and its location. The place had everything you would need, and is clean and well maintained. My family and I enjoyed everything about it. 2 steps out the back door and you’re on the beach! Volleyball nets, basketball courts, and we brought all our beach games as well. Awesome bike rides in both directions to the Wedge and towards Newport pier We will definitely be back soon.

Chris and Michelle were very responsive hosts. We loved the location and were thrilled with the little toys, books, and beach items provided for our use.

Words cannot describe how great Julie‘s home is. On multiple occasions an individual (and their cute dog) stopped to chat and share their memorable experiences residing, renting or simply enjoying this same location. Many people also shared how wonderful Julie and her husband are. The dog parade along the boardwalk is worth it alone. It is deceivingly large. The beds, linens, towels, and overall interior was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Julie‘s property. We would stay again and highly recommend anyone else to do the same.

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

We stayed here for our spring break with my 6 kids. Ages 23-5. We are not partiers just a family get away to relax and cook together. We booked this place based on the pool and it was worth it for us. The previous reviews were alarming about quiet hrs and it being strict but we had no problem and stayed in the pool till 945 at night. I did tell me younger 3 kids to be quiet at night to be respectful and they were for the most part but definitely got loud with their voice a few times. Great house no complaints beds were very comfy!

We usually stay at 5 star hotels in area but decided to try a home in light of our longer term stay. Fortunately, this home on west side of Pac-1, became available during our scheduled trip. Jynel's home met all of our interests and requirements: close walking distance to beach, a pool, easy access to town, comfortable layout, good parking, TV and a view of ocean. Jynel was very responsive to my questions during stay. Kitchen was well stocked and high-end coffee maker was nice touch and avoided having to go elsewhere. Host might consider adding a key for backdoor as easier to enter after beach. Although, we rarely stay at ABNB's or other online booked private homes, we thought Jynel's pricing was a good value; however, the cleaning fees should be a pricing range tied to each tenant circumstances determined post-stay) and ABNB's fees are still excessively high at 15%. In any case, Jynel should remain a superhost.

Sue’s place was perfect for my large family and I!!! We truly enjoyed being there and felt at home. The kitchen was very well equipped so we can make great meals! The area was phenomenal! If we ever came back, we’d definitely book here again!

We had a wonderful weekend. Loved relaxing in the jacuzzi and then enjoying the surrounding area. Close to shopping and beach and harbor. We would love to stay again. Kimee

The house and the beach were great. There was plenty to do great restaurants within walking distance.

Quality beds, pillows and linens. Lots of books and board games. Awesome to walk right out onto the sand!!

This was our second year in a row renting this place, and I'd have no hesitation to rent it again. Perfect location, as everything you need is within a few blocks. We didn't even bother renting a car. Massive kitchen for meals in, or plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The house has plenty of room and is well stocked with linens, towels, and plenty of toys, chairs, coolers, for a great time at the beach. Was an excellent place to stay very conveniently located and easily walkable to everything. The home was as described in description and really easy to deal with Annalise. There are no surprises and we were all very happy with our visit

Tyler was a great host, very responsive to all our question and concerns. Tyler went above and beyond to all of our questions. The proerty was on the perfect location right on the beach while still private. Perfect for the children to play safely with plenty of sand toys. And the hot tub was a hit with the older kids. Our family really loved our spring break vacation. We cant wait to plan our next vacation stay with Tyler again. I must give Tyler kudos for how quickly he responded when the washer broke, he even took our wet laundry to the cleaners and returned our clean clothes back the same day. ❤️
