Secluded Tiny “Wild Mustard” Art/Spiritual Retreat

KiyomiRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had such a wonderful stay at Jim and Jo Ellen's lower cabin. It was the exact peaceful getaway we were hoping for. The cabin is adorable and comfy and has all the necessities we needed for the weekend (a comfortable bed and futon, table and chairs for dining/games, propane stove for all our cooking needs, plenty of water for dishes and outside shower needs, solar panels for needed electricity, and a water filter for drinkable water). The portapotty was clean and a short walk from the cabin. Even with the rainy weather, it was such an enjoyable stay and very peaceful. We went for beautiful walks along the creek and fields, enjoyed the outside shower, and spent some time relaxing on the porch and reading/playing games inside the cabin. It is very evident how much love and care Jim and Jo Ellen put into their property and cabins. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Bang for your buck! This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this cabin in the past month. Rustic cabin off the beaten path. The stars at night were insane! Much needed escape from the city!

Arrowhead Cabin

Aaron NatalieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This little cabin was perfect! The description was exactly like I would describe this beautiful, cozy cottage/cabin. We had a chilly night and stayed nice and warm with the portable heaters and gas fireplace. The landscape, pond, firepit area and gazebo were better than expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and we had hot water for showers. Highly recommend and it is just minutes from downtown Sugarcreek.

Heritage Cabin

CherylRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our 5th stay at Jessie's place. We enjoy the peace and quiet. Enjoying fishing in the pond. The grandkids enjoyed the paddle boat. It is close to Sugar Creek, the Amish Flea Market is only 10 mins. away. It is a good place to stay for the money. No TV, just family time. There is a window A/C unit up stairs and a large ceiling fan down stairs. What would make it even better is A/C unit down stairs and maybe add a hot tub. Nice area to cook out on the covered deck and there is a fire pit. All and all an awesome get away. We will book again. LOVE the fishing and sounds of farm animals. A+ rating from the Howerton Family.

The Little Cottage on Liberty

AmyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Susan’s place was great for our brief stay in Geneva for a YMCA swim meet at Spire. The location was perfect - within 5-10 minutes from Spire. We felt right at home. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay!

JoJo’s Beach House

TimRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Joann (Jo Jo) is a wonderful hoast. When I contacted her in the morning prior to making one of our several day trips, about the need of a grab handle for the bathroom she had it there later on that same day when we returned. This was our 4th vacation trip to the Ashtabula / Geneva on the lake area. We've stayed at different rentals every time. This is the first time that neighbors interacted with us and made us feel welcome. We've already book this place for the same time period next year. A gentleman that lives at the end of the drive invited us to come down and experience the sunset any time we wanted. The house was just the right size for myself the wife and our fur baby. There is a fantastic gas grill there and I used it twice to grill dinner, I plan to bring a griddle plate for next year so I can cook up some magic for the neighbor's. We are so looking forward to September 2025 and another 7 relaxing days at J Jo's beach house. You won't go wrong if you book this cottage.

Off-Grid Cabin at Dutton Ranch

TinaRating, 5 stars19 months ago
This is a beautiful, truly off the grid place to stay. It was super relaxing and we had an awesome time despite the rainy weather. I did send Liz a message but didn’t get a response. The question answered itself when I arrived but would have been nice not to have to pack the item I asked about. This place doesn’t have a tv which didn’t bother us at all, but some might want one😂. Overall, wonderful stay and we would definitely go again!

We LOVED staying here! 5 ⭐️ - I love the remote location , hot tub, open window to star gaze, fire pit, and all the amenities! We will definitely be coming back here ! We witnessed a thunderstorm one night which was really amazing and scary at the same time LOL there is no cell service when you get up the road so just make sure you have all the WiFi info saved in your phone! Rustic-modern tiny home on private lake, w/hot tub

AshleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The Airbnb itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the lake; kayaking was a highlight of our trip! Evenings by the fire and relaxing in the hot tub were perfect ways to unwind. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful, making our experience even better. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay! How does that version sound? Anything else you'd like to add or change?

The Oculus Tinyhouse at Innisfree Farms

AndrewRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My spouse, dog, and I had a great, albeit brief, 1-night stay at the Oculus Tinyhouse! We were traveling from DC to Chicago — our night at the Oculus was the perfect stopover after having started our day visiting Gettysburg National Park. (On that note, having free use of a Level 2 EV charger at the Oculus was awesome!) The tinyhouse is cozy, yet well-/efficiently-equipped and sits on a beautiful piece of land. We bought some provisions at the Public Market in downtown Wheeling (15-min drive from tinyhouse) & were able to cook a nice dinner with the basic kitchen equipment provided. (Side note: I strongly recommend checking out the Public Market, whether for groceries, to-go food, or made-to-order sandwiches. It’s a really cool place that’s set up as a nonprofit consignment farmer’s market & cafe.) Long story short: Definitely recommend the Oculus and Innisfree Farms — the hosts clearly know what they’re doing to ensure a pleasant & memorable stay!

The Hideaway

HeidiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a fabulous place to relax. The cottage has everything you could want. Paula takes great detail to make sure you have a great stay. There were even frosted glasses and banana bread. We did Point Pelee and Fort Malden. We spent a day going to the three wineries that are walking distance. The location on the water is absolutely perfect. Thanks Paula
