Fantastic place on the river! Thomas is a great host and on my "great place to visit again" list.

Being a first time user of airbnb , Im sold and airbnb will be my go to from here forward for any travel.. the ease of reservation and check in/ check out ... very smooth! I literally paid online , then drove to the door of the place and punched in a code and we were home away from home. So easy , no front desk , just such a great way to travel with your family and friends. But the best part was "D.J." , after reading the responses left on airbnb sites , DJ was the contributing factor to my stay. I look forward to future family trips to Boone more often b/c of DJ's personal and professional timeliness and friendliness. D.J. Thanks again my friend , will talk to you soon

I enjoyed staying at DJ’s place right out of Boone. It was the perfect place for me while visiting my kiddo for the weekend. Super cute setup. I recommend arriving before dark to get acquainted with the location; especially if you aren’t used to driving narrow mountain roads. Had dinner at The Gamekeeper which is < 5 min drive or < 10 min walk.

This is my third stay with D.J. Every stay he has made sure I've felt right at home. I strongly encourage anyone traveling to stay at one of D.J.'s locations

Perfect place to stay! Quiet, clean, comfortable, private but close to everything!

D.J was flexible, responsive and understanding! Even though our weekend was not quite as planned due to circumstances with our kids, accommodations were great and made our trip easier. The room was very spacious compared to traditional hotels and had extra linen and towels. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and spacious rooms. Much better than staying at a hotel. Large kitchen in the common area with anything you might need. Tracey was responsive and was quick to adjust my reservation when we decided to stay an extra day. Beware, if you are sensitive to artificial smells there are an abundance of plug in air fresheners throughout the common area and rooms. They trigger my migraines but I removed the one in our room and left it on the balcony during our stay. I was able to let in fresh air from the balcony door to remove the artificial smell. Overall, I highly recommend and plan to stay again on my next trip to Franklin!

Friendly host, luxury linens, and the most beautiful surroundings!! This place was awesome. My husband and I arrived late on Christmas night around 9pm. I mentioned to TJ how we weren’t able to find anywhere open to eat (because of Christmas) and TJ (the innkeeper) ended up making us 2 turkey sandwiches for dinner!! Talk about hospitality. We stayed in the Riverside Suite and the linens were AMAZING. I was not expecting that but the sheets were ultra soft as well as the towels and the mattress was so comfy. Literally checked the brand to buy the towels for my house. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after hiking all day and our pup enjoyed every minute. I was grateful to get to chat with TJ and the story behind the inn and how he has put his heart in soul into that place. You can feel that spirit and love throughout the whole property. We will definitely be back!!

I recently stayed at Sonya's Airbnb in Powells Point and had an absolutely amazing experience. The property was stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Sonya was a fantastic host, providing excellent communication and making sure that my stay was enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the Outer Banks area, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I loved being able to relax on the deck and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I also want to mention the incredible pier at Sonya's Airbnb that overlooks the sound. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking views of the water and surrounding nature. I enjoyed spending mornings sipping coffee on the pier, watching the sunrise, and evenings taking in the colorful sunsets. The pier added an extra element of charm to the property and provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind.

Great location Great hosts Although all amenities were not available due to Covid. It seemed like there were a lot of extras when allowed. We had a wonderful stay.

Great location for visiting tourists; we loved the view! Host was friendly and very helpful and accommodating. Many options for entertainment, great common areas, great WiFi connection inside and almost as good outside.
