Tiny house vacation rentals in New Hanover County

All I can say is WOW and we will be back! Location is very convenient to UNCW/ Beach and town and so very quiet and peaceful! The beds are comfortable bathroom and shower were super. But I cannot stop thinking of the magical little fairy tale cottage! The hosts even left a lighted path and wagon for us to use to move our stuff from the car. Highly recommend and will be back!

Such a cute place to stay! The perfect spot for 2. Very easy walk to the beach! Close enough to the boardwalk and restaurants too if you want to get a good walk in! Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home!! I loved all of the windows. It had everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, on demand tv and comfy linens! Great location, right next to the market. I would love to stay again! My only recommendation would be updating the golf cart, it’s a little slow and doesn’t have much storage but it got us around! Thanks so much, we look forward to next time! :)

Our third visit to this little cabin on the NE Cape Fear River. We live locally (from nearby Wilmington) and come for the beauty of the river, the peace and the quiet plus the comfort we find at the Bridge Tender's River Lodge. There's a full kitchen for those who like to cook and for those who don't, the nearby Wilmington area has wonderful restaurants and activities. Each of our visits have been in different months and all of them have been special. We shared the area with a pair of very vocal pileated woodpeckers nesting near the cabin. Barn swallows fledged and entertained us as the parents taught the little ones how to swoop through the air above the river and where to rest on the old railroad trestle that holds so much history in the area. Beautiful Purple Martins arrived from South America and claimed the Martin House our hosts erected! As always, we heard the calls of the Barred Owl! Everything is so unique and charming! We love it here!

Sarah was a very attentive host! She gave us great local recommendations and was always responsive. They even replaced the record player so my teens could listen to them. Would highly recommend staying here!

Cameron was wonderful to work with. Answered questions with a quick response. Very flexible. Always willing to help us. The cottage was so nice and clean. The cottage was just what we needed. Relaxing atmosphere. Close to nice restaurants, stores and just a short drive to the beach.

This was a wonderful and comfortable stay for our mother daughter get a way! This tiny home is very beautiful and conveniently located from downtown, parks, activities, and restaurants. The host was very friendly and responsive provided awesome recommendations. I would definitely recommend for a quick get away to explore beautiful Wilmington!

Very nice little house, with tasteful design elements. We enjoyed our stay, we would book it again.

The Cove was in a great location near downtown with a free trolley. Sanctuary, houseboat was very clean, furniture and bedding were in excellent condition. The pictures on Airbnb are a true picture of the houseboat. The Cove staff was attentive. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets, and great views from our decks. Walking from the parking garage to the Cove was an easy walk, with our wagon and rolling suitcase. If we get another opportunity to travel to Wilmington NC, we will definitely stay at the Cove.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Creekside Cottage on this peaceful horse farm! From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature—birds singing, the gentle rustling of the creek, and the occasional soft neigh from the horses nearby. It was incredibly serene and the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway where you can truly unwind and recharge, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back!

The place was very nice and exactly as described. The whole place was very clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in in an Airbnb. The location was great. It is close to a little coffee shop and a unique bar. We were close enough to be able to walk to the river district each day. It was also a short drive over to the beach. All around a good location and a very comfortable little house. I definitely would recommend.

The Lil Pearl was just that; a pearl on the island. We loved the open concept and fenced yard. No detail goes unnoticed in this perfect house.

Great spot for a quick beach trip. Easy to get to the property and even easier to get to the beach. Bars and restaurants are nearby but far enough away so you don’t hear them at night.

We had an amazing stay at The Cove in Wilmington! The property is beautiful, right on the water, and perfect for a group getaway. We rented three boats during our trip, and having easy water access made the whole experience even better. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The hosts were responsive and made everything super easy from check-in to check-out. If you're looking for a fun and relaxing spot on the water, this is definitely it — we can’t wait to come back!

This whole experience was AMAZING! I definitely will be returning for future visits and check out other houseboats at the Cove. Highly recommend for an out of the box stay outside of typical hotels. Friendly and attentive staff available when needed and very responsive. 10 out of 10!

This listing was everything we expected! Very clean and kept, the hot water does work it just needs to run for a bit before using. The host was very responsive and replied within 10-20min. The home is also just across the street from beach access which was what we were looking forward to the most during our stay. I will definitely recommend staying here and I will be booking again in the future.

This tiny home was exactly what we were looking for!! Walkable distance to the beach, dinner option and ice cream! Everything was clean and in good condition! We would happily book with Shelly again!
