Vacation rentals in Montegut

We wanted to be near the WWII museum and the street car on St. Charles. This fit the bill. It's very large. It is directly above a nice restaurant, but we did not notice noise. You walk through a hall that divides the restaurant to get to the door that goes up to the apartment. There is a flight of stairs that was a challenge for the 84 year old in our group, and it was tedious getting luggage and coolers up and down the stairs. Otherwise, excellent place.

Great place and safe neighborhood! Uber and Lyft cheap to anywhere! Awesome place to relax!

Its a wonderful, old, quirky space that has been updated and is totally functional and roomy. The location is perfect for access to the various neighborhoods in NOLA. Very close to good restaurants, short walk to the Quarter etc. The C unit is up three flights of stairs (which I missed in the pictures and description) which wasn't really a problem except we had one person in a "boot". Otherwise it was clean and safe, functional and historic. So all in all very nice.

I loved staying here. We went with 9 girls for my bachelorette party. There were beautiful places to take photos, a great back yard/courtyard to hang out in (and balcony), and was modern and clean. The girls loved the Airbnb as did i. It was in a quiet and safe neighborhood while also being a 20 minute walk to bourbon street. At night we ubered but during the day we walked! She’s also so sweet and responsive- let me check in early too! If I was going back to NOLA, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time! Weather was perfect and we ended up walking alot, even to Mardi Gras world from the house, then took shuttle to french quarter and rode the street car back. It's a quiet street and neighbors were friendly. Be sure to ride uptown on the street car to view the beautiful houses.

Prime location off Fretet st. Get place for walking entertainment and night life. Property has a nice pool and great outdoor lounging. The host is very responsive and has done a get job at making sure the place has all of the amenities that one could wish for in an airbnb. Felt more at home than other rentals i have had because literally everything there. Bonus - Massive amount of board games!

we had a wonderful stay. I hate paying for parking all around New Orleans and magazine st is just a short walk away with tons of great shopping and food options. the house was very beautiful and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. we would definitely book again.

Great place! We celebrated Christmas there and it was PERFECT. George was very communicative. His brother was there doing some routine maintenance on another property and he was soooo nice and welcoming. Will definitely be back!!

It was so nice staying at this cute cottage. The house was super clean and in a great location. We had a great time hanging out at home and exploring the neighbourhood. The host was very responsive and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.
