Mansion vacation rentals in Michigan

Our family had a wonderful stay. We had everything we needed. The house is spread out so everyone had their own space. My husband and I shared the master, my adult son and family had their own apartment basically ( in the tower), teenage boys had the “bunker”, and although my parents couldn’t make it, they would have had their own wing as well. Beautiful surroundings, private… we couldn’t have asked for more on our long weekend away bonding with family.

Jennifer's place was clean and neat as described. There were the necessary amenities that we didn't have to bring to prep breakfast or eat the food that we brought. When we arrived we walked into a warm house and a beautiful fireplace to make the place feel warm and cozy! On the counter was delicious brownies and a bottle of wine with a note from the host! Everyone exclaimed with "Awww...How thoughtful"! The rooms were clean, comfy and cozy! The house and the area that it was nestled in was out of a hallmark movie! There were thoughtful trinkets, decorations and amenities that we didn't need to bring in order to cook or use during our stay. There were plenty of extras so we were never without the things that we needed! There was plenty of room for us to spread out! And plenty of spaces when we needed to be together. Early check in and late check out was provided by the host. They always responded in a timely manner and was kind and wished us well to and leaving the rental.

The Hideaway was an ideal home for our large family (11 adults, 6 children under 9 years old) to rent for our ski vacation. The description perfectly matched what we walked in to, so we were able to easily identify sleeping arrangements ahead of time. From the hot tub (ready to go, just take the cover off and get in) to the fireplace (with stacked wood right outside the door), everything was perfect. Chaya was also very responsive. It snowed the day we arrived and one of our front-wheel drive vehicles had a problem getting up the long winding private drive leading up to the house. The next morning when I messaged about the problem, Chaya resolved it immediately by having the drive plowed and salted. Our family all agreed that we'd definitely stay there again, in any season!

Nick was a wonderful host. He was very communicative. The Beach was a block away. The community shares the steps. We had a diverse set of ages, ranging from 4 years old to mid sixties. House was clean and well stocked. Nice outdoor space. We made use of the hot tub and the fire pit in the backyard. Overall, we had a great time being together in a beautiful area of the country.

We spent one night in the Big House with a large group of friends. There is plenty of room to hang out together or have your separate spaces. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice home! My family of 8 stayed for an extended weekend getaway and we were not disappointed. The home was just as shown in the pictures and the outside/location was very private and serene. It is close proximity to downtown TC and many activities. I would highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The house and surrounding grounds were exactly as described, and we were thrilled with every aspect of our visit. Communication with the hosts was prompt and efficient, making it easy to get answers to any questions we had. The home itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time there, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, including offering us an early check-in and late check-out! The space was more than spacious enough for our group to gather and relax together. We would love to return for another stay – this lodge is perfect for any season of the year. Highly recommended!

Suzanne's place is truly a wonderful stay. We rented as a parents group weekend get-a-way, so big perk having multiple living/shared spaces to hang out, but also a bedroom for everyone for privacy. The hot tub was a nice addition. We would love to return sometime!

What a beautiful historic home. Plenty of room for me and my 5 friends. One room doesn’t have a door, and one is a walk-through room. This didn’t bother us, but is something to consider if you are with a noisier crew or might have snorers. The house was very clean and had everything you might need to cook and clean up which was a great bonus. Took us about 20 minutes to drive to Boyne Mountain so it was super close and very affordable for all of the space you get. We couldn’t figure out the lock code but Elizabeth responded within a minute to help.

Really enjoyed Tim's place. It was very spacious and clean and the space had a great vibe. It was centrally located to a lot of restaurants and places and the hot tub was huge. Nice quiet location. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay for larger groups. wasn't riding this trip but trails are right there.

absolutely loved it here ! the whole family truly enjoyed the home. we actually didn't want to leave. It felt comfortable. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. It was a great stay. glad I picked the big blue. we hope to book again whenever we come back to bay city.

We love this house! Lots of room to spread out, nice decor, furniture and beds. Kitchen os well supplied. Lots of parking space which is a huge plus as we had a family dinner there. Would definitely book again,

Melissa is an A+++ host and her place is absolutely gorgeous. All the amenities you could think of were provided and we felt immediately at home when we arrived. She thought of every detail and was so easy and quick to communicate with. We are keeping this place in our back pocket and can't wait to stay again.

This house was wonderful for myself, my parents, my 2 brothers, sister in law, and 2 nieces! The pool was in use from sun up to sun down. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. My mom was able to navigate between her wheelchair and walker, which meant all the world. I have stayed in many airbnbs. What sets this one apart, besides the gorgeous house, pool, and amenities, was the way everything was stocked. There were enough extra towels for all the in and outs of the pool. Anyone who has stayed at an airbnb with a pool can relate to not enough towels. Not the case here!! Also, plenty of extra toilet paper. And the good tp! How many times have I had to stop during my vacation to buy extra TP. Not at this house! It had everything I needed!! Including washing machine tabs, so I could keep up with the laundry. Tons of extra plates, silverware, cups! EXCELLENT communication from Mary. I am sure our family will be back to this Oasis!

Bob contacted me the day before and was great to communicate with. We even left something behind and he was gratuitous enough to send it to us. Great hosts !!!

We had a great time, the house was very nice for family to gather and enjoy time together. No problems at all. The kitchen was well supplied, linens were clean, extra pillows and blankets available, games and activities for our various ages. And the host was very friendly and helpful.

Home was fantastic for a family trip! Lots of room for everyone and incredibly clean and cozy! Eileen was a wonderful and accommodating host! We hope to be back!

This place is perfect for an extended family stay. There are lots of bedrooms, beds, sitting rooms, and bathrooms so that everyone has plenty of space. The air hockey in the well-equipped basement media room was a big hit with the grandkids. We were there during the shoulder season and can only imagine the fun that the pool and hot tub offer. The geographic location make getting into the city of Grand Rapids or the Lake Michigan beach easy drives.

It was nice experience! 12 people , but house is pretty big and comfortable
