Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Massanutten

Great mountain house! House was clean and had everything we needed. The host sent us local recommendations and checkin/out was easy!

Could not have been happier with how kid friendly it was for my newly turned 3 year old. I traveled 6hrs for a hiking trip and did not bring 1 toy with me as I knew the house would be equipped for entertainment. Also, the house being dog friendly and adult friendly. Brenda thought of every possible thing to make sure you didn’t run out of anything. She even hung up a happy birthday sign for my little guy. Highly recommend!

Great place for a larger group!

Overall was a great location to anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors since the National Forest was nearby with gorgeous views! Or even enjoy all that the resort area offered! House was clean and the host was always made sure to get back to us about any questions that may have come up. Our kids loved that there was a game area as well that they could watch tv or game without having to give up the TV for the adults to watch TV.

The setting of the home was breathtaking!!! The mountain was beautiful and the open patio was perfect to see the moon and stars at night! We were thinking there was too little light on the patio when we arrived but we know now it’s intentional. The home was spacious and had everything we could have needed. Hot tub was amazing and we can’t wait to return to Lost City!!

We stayed at Karen’s on a whim. In town for the weekend to visit family, we’d normally have bunked our family of 5 at a relatives house. This time we thought we’d rent a separate space. Karen is the best, kind-hearted Host. The kind of host that makes a personal call to get you set up and make sure you have everything you need rather than leave a dusty book of rigid instructions. She’s as good as family in our humble opinion! The house is spacious, but cozy and well appointed too. Nice modern kitchen ready for quick or fancy meals! A lucky find! We highly recommend both Karen and her house!

Good morning! I was the groom and the groomsmen also stayed there. It was fantastic a fantastic area to do photos and very laid back.

Location is great if you want to balance the distance between the park, carvern and the restaurants. The house is spacious, large functional kitchen and dinning room, 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, by the way great showers. nice backyard, kids enjoyed the swing and a little sand play at the end of the day. we did not use the grill or hot tub, but they certainly looked nice. fast responding hosts. I had Amazon order dilevered with a breeze. will recommend to friends.

The place was beautiful. It was a bit hard to find but we eventually found it. Everything was clean and even had extras of everything. The view was absolutely perfect and it was a quiet place. The rooms were a bit hot, though.

Nina's place was quiet, easy to find, great parking lot. Her place was clean and nice. Things to know, entrance is on the right side of the house, kitchen on first floor and the bedroom/bathroom is upstairs. She has all you need provided. We stayed only one night but will definitely return.

This is our 2nd time staying with Lawrence & Sharon. They are extremely friendly & welcoming. Their place is exactly what we needed while visiting our daughter at JMU.

Jennifer’s place was amazing! A fully private guest house with tons of space and well stocked. Beautiful location and we were excited to use the hot tub. Would definitely stay again when visiting Shenandoah.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We were attending a wedding at Klines barn, and the location was perfect. The patio has a beautiful view and we were very comfortable the whole time. Would absolutely stay again.

carrie's place is very inviting and clean, also peaceful, you will hear the dog occasionally but didn't bother us, bed is comfy , bathroom is big, loved the hot hair fan. it has everything we needed.

We had another great stay at Debbie’s place to break up our road trip to visit family. As always the apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It’s located right off of i81 making it extremely convenient to get to. We also appreciate how dog friendly it is. Debbie is extremely responsive and we always look forward to stopping in Woodstock!

Eric's place was great for our Girl's Weekend! Plenty of room for 2 people! Views from the house were beautiful! Additionally, Eric was flexible with our check in when we needed to get in a few minutes early! We would definitely stay here again!

This was the second time we have stayed her, and hopefully, won’t be the last.

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

Just a quick overnight stay so we didn’t get to do much. The place was clean and the beds were comfy.

Perfect location for the slopes. Ok, you don’t get the view of them from the condo but the ground/first floor location is so worth it!

We were here for a brief weekend getaway to go snowboarding with the family. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was ski in/out with only a 5-6 minute walk to the bunny slope and lifts. The bed was very comfortable.

The ideal location, abundance of amenities and. extras. depending on the season that you choose, this a place you could call home. Waiting for your vacation memories, this chalet is cozy, comfortable, and the perfect mental floss.

Check in was easy and fast, no issues. The unit was nice and cozy, adequate towels, kitchen, everything. Parking was super easy with lot right off the entrance. Location is right off the ski slopes and walking distance to the lodge and restaurant. Alesia reached out before check in to make sure we knew what to do and we're good to go. No complaints, great experience!
