Very cute apartment, very clean. The only heads up for someone a little older or handicapped would be the stairs going up to the apartment were a little on the steep side.

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

We had a fantastic stay in Tremont! Nancy's place was spotless and well appointed, with a beautiful view of the water. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and essentials (coffee, tea, sugar, salt etc), making it easy to cook several meals. The apartment is in a peaceful part of MDI, yet conveniently close to the island's sights and towns. Nancy was responsive and helpful - overall a great stay. Highly recommend!

The location is incredible! Ive never had such a great view. The place was clean and comfortable. Booth ay Harbor is very nice place to stay.

We stayed here with our 9 month old and it was a perfect location. Centrally located with plenty of towns to explore, it was a wonderful place to call home base. We would love to return in the future!

We had a wonderful weekend at On the River 2. Of course, the best part of our stay was our hostess, Miss Lucy. But Patricia made sure we had everything we needed - the kitchen was stocked with spices and implements, the Roku had all the apps we could want (bring your own sign-in), and the place was clean and beautiful. We’d love to come back and see Lucy again!

Perfect location. Straight forward accommodations, this place had all we needed. Close to town with lots to do, but just over the bridge with a breathtaking waterfront view. We would gladly book again.

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

We have been going to this area of Maine for over fifty years. I found this gem several years ago and haven’t stayed anywhere since. I find it to be peaceful, walkable to the center via footbridge, it’s all that we want. Kathy is a great host, quickly responds to any questions or needs you may have. We always know we will have a great experience staying here.

We had a great week at the cabin! The view is amazing and it was so relaxing. Courtney was very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend for a cozy getaway in a beautiful setting.

Even though I knew there was another home quite close to the Nest I was surprised when we drove up just how close it was. However, once inside the delightful space we felt we had a very private and lovely place to stay. We really enjoyed the architectural details, the high expansive ceilings and the windows. An almost full moon one night and a wonderful sunrise the following morning. The lack of clutter, the efficiency of everything and the cleanliness were all appreciated. Its' peaceful simplicity and river view provided just what we needed.

What an AMAZING stay! We loved staying at the lake house and enjoyed extra that came with it! The bed was comfortable, the rooms were all beautifully decorated and we both loved the hot tub! Although it rained almost the entire time we were able to enjoy the game room and the fire place. We have already told our friends and family how much of a great stay we had!

Beautiful home and great communication from the host! The beds were comfortable, the views were amazing and all of the extras like spices, cooking supplies, shampoo and body wash made us feel right at home! You will not be disappointed in this home- the value was amazing!!! We had a very memorable stay for my mother’s birthday, thank you!

Deborah was very helpful and quick to respond. She had great suggestions on where and what to visit. The travel magazines she had on her TV stand were extremely helpful. The bed was very soft, which I love, so I slept really well. We loved the touch of having beach chairs available. The only downsides I can think of, are that the shower is very small, and it’s hard to back out of the parking space.

I would recommend it 100%

We had a great time staying here for a nearby wedding. The location is convenient, the place is well maintained, and Christopher is responsive!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave! Everything about the cabin was well thought out. We loved having a fire and looking at the stars from the dock! Mark and Laurie were fantastic, friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. We would love to come back someday!

My second stay with Will. A clean, comfortable, quiet unit. Hate to give a five star review because it may be harder to get a reservation next year when I come back for work. 😄

We only had two nights at Dave’s place but wish we could’ve stayed longer. The decor was great and matched the Maine vibe while it also had all the modern amenities an Airbnb needs. Only ten minutes into the centre of Portland and very close to the beach as well. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to be fully stocked. The washer and dryer were also very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!
