Vacation rentals with lake access in Lutsen Township

So happy we found this gem of a place! We loved the location - next to the trail yet felt very private. The deck off the kitchen was a favorite spot for us to soak up sun and for our pup to hang out, monitoring the boat landing and backyard. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are well appointed with most everything you may need. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Went here for my bachelorette weekend getaway and it was PERFECT. Could not have asked for a better place!

Had such a wonderful time staying here with my family! It’s a beautiful little getaway! The hosts were super responsive and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed, and we especially loved the charming little gift shop on site. Can't wait to come back!

So impressed with the location! It was walkable to the brewery and shops. The trail and lake were directly across the street So amazed by the view of the sunrise from 2 of the bedrooms. Full kitchen had everything we needed to bake with. The place was perfect for our group of six. Relaxing and fulfilling long weekend spent with friends. Easy to get to the main highway to explore more! Would definitely book again in the future.

We had a blast at Donna & Peter’s place. Great for large parties that are visiting the north shore. Make sure to take advantage of the corn hole set and fireplace in the backyard!

We had a great stay at this home! We loved how clean and homey it was, had gorgeous views, and was walkable to canal park! The beach is gorgeous and was fun to spend time on the upper deck. Opening the windows and listening to the waves was a wonderful way to relax! We would absolutely recommend this home and will be back!

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this is one of my favorites! The view of the lake is amazing - I don't think there could be a better one in Duluth! I have stayed here a couple of times and feel right at home. Jennifer does a fantastic job communicating, and their spot is pristine. I hope to be back!

Was a great place to stay! It was just a short drive up the Lutsen for skiing.

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location. Loved watching the boats coming in and out of the harbor from the porch. Place was clean, bed was comfortable and I loved the decor.

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

The Sunshine Studio was just what I needed for a solo retreat! Felt safe and right at home upon arrival. "Sunshine" is an appropriate name for this cute and cozy space. Loads of sunlight is plentiful. Quiet and peaceful surrounds, comfortable bedding, and an easy, quick walk to the beach makes this a tranquil stay. I'd highly recommend. Chad, the manager, checked in to see if I needed anything with friendly communication. Will definitely be back!

This rental has it all for any couple who wants to experience the beauty of Lake Superior and be able to walk to just about everything in Duluth. We explored the North Shore by car during the day and the city by foot in the evening. The view is so mesmerizing it's hard to close the curtains at night and miss the early sunrise, if you're lucky you can watch a ship passing through the famous lift bridge too.

We loved staying at this place. We like a king size bed, which was perfect. We spent a lot of time just sitting and watching the lake. It was easy to get around and the parking was provided. It was easy to go do some and then come back for a rest and recharge before heading out again.

The floor to ceiling picture window shows the beautiful view of the Lake. The interior is exactly how it appears in the pictures. There were extra touches in every room including a beautifully stocked kitchen, coffees, teas, etc. Clear, subtle instructions in each room. A quiet peaceful getaway. Would definitely rent again. We really enjoyed Paula's cottage. While small, we loved the authentic feel of a 100+ year old home. Paula did a really nice job updating without losing that authenticity. The location is great if you love enjoying the beauty that the north shore has to offer. We took advantage of the beach that is within walking distance as well as the many trails that are across the highway. Paula was a tremendous host, being quick to answer our questions and offer suggestions. We drove into Duluth multiple times, which is about 20 minutes away. Highly recommend!

Our stay here was amazingly peaceful! We enjoyed the outdoors flying kites during the day and roasting marshmallows at night. Our time indoors was spent playing various games in the garage and also many board and card games available in the house. Great place to stay if you’re looking to get away!

Honestly, this is one of the best Airbnb stays I've had. What a beautiful cabin in the most gorgeous setting. You can walk right down to the lake and lay on the warm rocks. A 15 minute drive to Grand Marais, if needed. An abundance of hiking trails close. The cabin itself is perfectly outfitted - super clean, comfortable, great local art / books / products. Hosts are communicative and helpful. The cabin guidebook was daunting at first, but there are clear instructions and labels to help guests figure things out. Highly recommend; hope to return!

I stayed here with my family for the Madeline Island Marathon and I was very comfortable. Great location and good spot to rest. Lovely views and good kitchen to do my own cooking.

Great location - and great for my dog and I. The kitchen also had all the necessary equipment to cook pretty much anything! Would be happy to stay here again.

Both the cabin and Lutsen were amazing. The cabin was very well built/maintained, clean, and had everything we needed. Lutsen was beautiful and quiet but still had skiing, hiking, and local restaurants/shops. On top of that, Elisabeth was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!
