Upstairs: full bathroom, sitting room with a futon, sofa, and TV, bedroom with full size bed with pop up trundle, and a day bed with pop up bed. Quiet rural setting. 20 min. to Downtown Lafayette. Small, house trained non-shedding, dog ok, upon pre-approval.

A grill in the back is available for those who enjoy a little outdoor cooking. A wonderful place for a relaxing getaway, or a homey place to unwind when working away from home. No pets or smoking!

Over the Moon Farm, Relaxing with the Horses

Enjoy the picturesque view at Over the Moon Farm, a bustling horse farm situated in the middle of 30 acres in Covington, LA north of New Orleans. A short drive from the farm will take you to Abita Springs, a quaint town with restaurants and the Abita Brewery, Old Covington filled with local shops and restaurants and several horse facilities nearby. Spend the day touring in New Orleans and unwind in the evenings relaxing on one of two porches overlooking horses grazing in the pasture.

Completely renovated in 2016, this 100 year old Cajun Cypress house is located on the Intracoastal Waterway in historic downtown Houma. Walking distance to the park/marina and restaurants. Enjoy sitting on the back porch or deck overlooking the water while watching the many different types of boat traffic go by. The views are awesome! We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.
