Our newly renovated cabins are located 10 minutes from downtown Natchitoches, LA on 30 acres of gated property on Bayou Pierre. It is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. Upstairs the cabin has a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft area with two twin bed, and also a living area, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs. Come relax on the back porch on the swing. It is equipped with Satellite, WIFI, basic kitchen supplies, bedding, a grill, and more. We have trails to explore and a floating dock in the bayou!

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

As you drive past our home to the chalet, you arrive at a tucked‑away spot where the cottage and hot tub pavilion are screened by trees and bamboo, creating a private, secluded feel. This is a place to slow down, enjoy quiet mornings by the water, and end the day under the stars, while leaving feeling recharged from your stay at our little piece of paradise.

Travel one mile down a sugarcane-lined road to arrive at this self-built cabin modeled after an 1830s Acadian Village home. This one-room rustic cabin sits on 27 acres, perfect for a gadget-free weekend of star gazing and bird watching. You’ll love sipping your coffee (or wine) on the large porches, complete with swing, rockers, and ceiling fans.
