I was seeking a private, quiet, relaxing weekend get away and that's exactly what I found. The cottage was clean, well stocked and Cozy but not cramped. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would like to stay again in the future.

Loved staying at Mrs. Janice’s place. Apartment is under same roof as house with a separate entry and completely private space. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My stay was 4 months and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Easy access to interstate and a short 15 minute drive into Shreveport. Several great restaurant options nearby without having to drive into the city. Something Tasty is a couple of minutes away and has great food, great coffee and a good vibe. There’s also many great options a short drive up the interstate to Southern Loop exit for great restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend Mrs. Janice’s place. She makes you feel right at home and she’s very easy to contact if you need anything at all.

The place is quiet and for the most part very secluded. The cabin is in perfect condition. It’s beautiful inside and out. Perfect for a couples get away. Especially with the hot tub on the porch. We stayed for our mini honeymoon. We will be back!
