Our private cabin on the shores of Lake McDonald with majestic views, beautiful pebble beach and endless sunrises & sunsets. Our property does not offer a kitchen, but does offer a unique stay inside Glacier National Park on the shores of the lake. Apgar is a small walk or drive away for dining options or boat rentals for your days on the lake. You can also find additional dining options in West Glacier only a 5 minute drive.
“We loved our time at Christie’s cottage—and our time in Glacier. I doubt you’ll find another rental that has such a beautiful view of Lake McDonald and the Glacier mountains. The description of the cottage is very accurate. There is no kitchen—a good excuse not to cook. The cottage worked well for us. There were only two of us so we used the lake-front room as our sitting room. This allowed us to enjoy the wonderful outdoor views when inside the cottage and when sitting outside. Hope to return to this cottage.”
There aren't many vacation homes can boast Glacier National park view in their back yard, a 18-hole golf course with wonderful views just at doorstep. A wild northern river across the street brings fly fishing, scenic/white water rafting, kayaking and hiking activities to your door way. If you’re looking for unforgettable Glacier park vacation and great family time, this is the one!
“Great location. Very easy to get into the Park, and wonderful to back up to the golf course. Large yard was great to enjoy with tossing a frisbee or playing bocce. James was very quick to reply to any questions we had, before and during our stay.”

“What an incredible cabin! I'm almost tempted not to write a good review so as to keep Aidan's lovely place our own secret :) Pictures do not do Aidan's place justice. It is in an unbeatable location on Lake McDonald, a stone's throw away from the historic lodge, camp store, and shuttle stop, and right off Going-to-the-Sun road for all of your adventures. It's very difficult to find a cabin *inside* of the park, and Aidan's is far beyond what you'd expect -- beautifully remodeled, with very comfortable beds, and a great kitchen/living area. I stayed there with my husband and 2-year-old and we had plenty of room to stretch out, enjoy ourselves, and cook nice meals together. My daughter loved playing with the puzzles and games Aidan has in the cabin, and my husband and I really enjoyed disconnecting without internet or cell service and reading in the cozy living room at night. We spent all of our days out & about in the park and almost wished we had a rainy day to enjoy even more time in the cabin. We also really appreciate Aidan's thorough information on the cabin location and hikes, her quick responses, and her flexibility in allowing us to check in early. We really hope to come back as our family grows and make Aidan's cabin a part of our family memories!”
