MaryBeth and her LOVE temple are an absolute gem. Words can't describe the levels of peace, bliss, and relaxation available to you here. Would recommend to anyone looking for an oasis just an hour from the city and five minutes into town. If you have an mobility issues, just know that there are stairs to climb to reach the temple. If you're able, then climbing up to the perch is part of the fun!

Shannon & Nick created the most beautiful, tranquil get away for my boyfriend and I while we were in town for a Sequoia wedding! The cabin was just perfect for the two of us and in such a lovely location surrounded by the trees. They went above and beyond with quick response time and were so considerate to leave a complimentary snacks for us as well! :) Loved this spot and can’t recommend enough… especially the amazing hot tub!!!!

This is a great place to stay. Close to the beach and also not too far from the city. Super private location and is a beautiful piece of property and home. The jacuzzi was amazing and it’s nice to see and hear the creek while using it. House was clean and modern. Heating system worked great. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Grace is a super responsive and friendly host. Allowed me to check in earlier than 3pm. Thanks Grace!

Excellent hosts, amazing little sanctuary in the city. Roomier than expected, plenty size for one, two could work if you are good together in smaller space. A block away are two corner markets that have a lot of groceries and alcohol, good stuff too even some organic! Amazing selection for being so small at both places, plus a nice big laundromat right there as well. Five minutes walk to get to all of those places, plus there’s a deli and a restaurant or two as well. The actual street this listing is on was very quiet and family-oriented, a gorgeous full court basketball court and a church a block away. I was surprised how quiet it was day and night there. The hot tub is surrounded by tall plants in such a cool way that makes you feel even more removed from everything and private. Brand new bed that’s really comfy, great bathroom and kitchen. It’s one to consider even though it may be lacking one or two staples you’re used to because great hosts, great setup, quiet and comfy, private.

Great place! Easy to find, surroundings were beautiful, and the cabin was clean. Emkay was friendly and respectful.

Had such a great time staying in the Jazmine cabin. It is quite small, but expected. There are so many things to explore and see within walking distance and food is a 5 to 10 minute drive into town (I fell in love with the small town of Soquel). Emkay and Lara were amazing hosts, it's a bonus they live on the property. Which by the way is so zen and beautiful. I can't say enough about the "beach" area, it is so peaceful. Emkay and his family were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We took our 2 little dogs and they had a blast exploring the property. I will be back. Ila's place was very nice. My husband and I were there to spend the Christmas Holidays with family. It was neat, clean, exactly as described and very comfortable. The area was very safe, quiet and close to many amenities. Ila was very responsive each and every time! It made everything very easy. While I can see that the drive way may be difficult for some, Ila's instructions were excellent and easy to follow. We really liked that the space was private. The bed was very comfortable which was very welcome after a cross country late night flight. We found her place to be very clean and she added many extras such as Christmas lights and flowers. The extra touches always make you feel at home. We would be happy to go back to Ila's place. Thank you! Donna and Robert

A lovely, cozy escape in the redwoods! We absolutely loved the outdoor fire pit area – perfect for evenings under the trees. The master bedroom was also fantastic and very comfortable. A great stay overall!

Our stay at Brookes home was great! The space was incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt very comfortable and safe. I wish I could have stayed longer, but the space was beautiful outside even after the storm. We had a small hiccup trying to get the lock to work, but Brooke was super fast with her response & helped us get in quickly. 10/10 would stay again!

Perfect spot for a long weekend stay! Comfortable with lots of natural light. A welcoming space for kids and dogs - especially appreciate the securely fenced yard. Looked exactly like the photos, and every amenity was as described.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful wooden retreat! The property is even more charming in person and very thoughtfully designed with a cozy, rustic feel, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with love. From the well-stocked kitchen, all toiletries and comfortable bedding to the fast Wi-Fi and relaxing outdoor space, every detail made our stay feel easy and luxurious. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall sense of relaxation, making it a perfect escape. We even celebrated our daughter’s bday and got some amazing personal photography in the house. Caleb was very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and stylish getaway.

The home was amazing, and the surrounding areas of trees and wildlife was amazing as well. We listened to the birds in the forest and the last morning got to see five dears drinking at the stream. It was breathtaking.

This was one of my favorite airbnbs by far. Great ambiance - speakers everywhere, tea room, projector screen, candles, cool lights. Super cozy, listening to the rain gently hit the roof of the tea room was a great feeling for sure. Also love the bathtub! thank you seth!

I can’t say enough great things about my stay (over a month long) at Lola’s place! It was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and had a huge yard for my two dog to run around and explore. Lola was always very responsive and friendly. Great escape from the city life but only moments away from Redwood City and Menlo Park. Will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Don’t miss this rare gem!

Robin’s Nest was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. It is a charming, cozy space, and the location is beautiful. The kitchen was also well appointed and we enjoyed cooking there. Last but not least, the patio was perfect for enjoying coffee or a drink and soaking in the environs.

The Santa Cruz A-frame was such a serene retreat into the mountains for us, and an antidote to our overly digital and urban lives. Things we appreciated: easy parking, both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen supplies, private balcony, gorgeous forest views, creek in the back, and easy access to Loch Lomond (peddle boating on the lake was so peaceful), the redwood state park (hiking in the largely shaded trail was great on an otherwise sunny day), and local groceries and food (enjoyed the cute outdoor patio in the back of The Grove cafe and bakery). We had a wonderful rest!

Thank you for extremely helpful directions, your cabin is as advertised, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin, very relaxing. As a host you are very attentive to our needs, we felt like we call on you at anytime and you would be there, thank for the unique experience. Paul

It's small, but it ended up being perfect for my spouse and I, our 2 year old ,and our dog. They fit so much efficiently in that tiny house! The yard and the neighborhood are beautiful. The hosts were extremely kind.

Lovely weekend at a beautiful cabin with everything you need. 3 min walk to a breathtaking ocean view. 15 minute walk into town. An amazing, restful weekend in a very special place.

This is my 3rd time staying here, and I'm already looking forward to a 4th. It's a delightful cabin with a treehouse, nestled in the redwoods right along my favorite childhood trail. To sit out on the deck is to be in the forest. And it's a quick walk on the adjacent trails to see where Ferndell Creek becomes a waterfall, joining both Bean Creek and Zaynate Creek. If you want a quick redwood getaway, stay here, ignore Henry Cowell Redwoods, and do the Fall Creek Trail to Ridge Trail Loop instead. It's 4.2 miles, 750 elevation gain, and nearly all of it follows beautiful redwood creeks. The locals are so lucky to have this as their backyard.

As our first stay ever in an airbnb, this was the best place for a get away ❤️ Surrounded by nature in a beautiful home. All as pictured and described. We will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.
