Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kern River

Was a great place and I’d stay there again!

Brandon's house was very comfortable. Everything worked well. Kitchen was well equipped.

We were in town for a wedding. Had a great stay, the house was clean and matched the photos perfectly, the pool and large lawn made for a fun/relaxing day in the back yard. Highly recommend!

We will definitely be back and were sad to leave. We loved this cabin! The backyard is gorgeous! The house itself is comfortable and cozy. The beds were great and we all slept well. The main bedroom is HUGE. You could bring an inflatable bed if you needed to and it would easily fit. Others have mentioned the twin beds in the front room...they're off to the side from the kitchen and living space so it isn't like they're in the middle of that space and are bigger than they appear in pictures FYI and the second bathroom is near so that is also convenient. My large boys (ages 13 & 15) liked hanging out on the twin beds in the front room. There is a General Store right across the way with great milkshakes and food too. It was fun to buzz over there and grab a treat or breakfast or a burger. We can't wait to come back.

Can’t say enough great things about this rental. The hosts were very responsive, great instructions, beautiful house in a perfect location. We brought my mom & sister out to visit Santa Cruz & the Sequoia Forest. We wanted to give them an amazing experience from morning until night. This house gave us the opportunity to do that. The views were amazing! We were really impressed with the local restaurants as well, even though we only got to take advantage of 2 of them. I highly recommend River View Grill & Bar if you’re wanting something casual. Sit on the patio RIGHT next to the rushing river. Good food, awesome service, & perfect atmosphere. The beds were comfy, bathrooms were beautiful & luxurious, everything was very clean. We appreciated the coffee maker & coffee grinder (a food scale would be an added perk, but I’m nerdy like that). The balcony & deck really made the house. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you guys!

Was very satisfied with our stay. The neighborhood was peaceful and clean. The house was clean and ready for us upon a arrival, we were very apprecitive of that. Linens and towels were neat and smelled clean! Conveniently located close to everything one could need or want to do. We will definitely book agsin if were in the area. I had such a great stay! The place was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect and made getting around super easy. Our stay at Nicole’s Airbnb was wonderful! Nicole is an incredibly friendly host and helped us with all our requests. The house is located in a beautiful setting surrounded by gorgeous nature. Inside, it’s very cozy with stylish decor, clearly made with great love and attention to detail. We especially loved the fantastic outdoor jacuzzi and enjoyed breakfasts outside under the tree. The home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need and filled with beautiful decorative touches. You can tell this place was created with genuine care and professionalism. I highly recommend it, especially since it’s conveniently close to Sequoia Park. The entire area around is stunningly beautiful with plenty of amazing locations to explore.

We had good stay at Daisy’s place! The house is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to everything, the host is very responsive and helpful. We will stay here again. Highly recommend!

The place was peaceful and looked as pictured. The owners were quick to respond. We love the cows! The place is perfect if you are attending a wedding at the Springville Ranch. You can walk right across the street. It was quiet. We would definitely go back. The town is small but so cute.

I cannot recommend Laura’s Airbnb highly enough! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Laura is a genuinely kind host who truly cares about her guests. Her communication is excellent, and she’s always quick to follow up if there’s an issue. For example, when my car unfortunately leaked oil onto the driveway, Laura handled the situation with incredible professionalism and kindness, ensuring everything was resolved without any stress. The space itself is immaculate—spotless, fully stocked with high-quality amenities, and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. The price is beyond reasonable for what you get, and it’s worth every penny. The location is supreme! Whether you’re on foot or driving, everything you need is within easy reach. It’s also kid-friendly, with parks and a golf course nearby, and dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is super quiet and feels incredibly safe—I’ve enjoyed peaceful night strolls and even found the neighbors to be kind.

My second time staying here, and both were fantastic. Responsive host. Great, safe location. Perfect for 1 or 2 people and, with the washer and dryer, great for a long-term stay.

This property was an amazing space for my friends and I to enjoy the lake! I think it's the best spot in the entire area to relax and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. Deborah was extremely helpful and kind! We will definitely be coming back here soon.

Gigi place was spotless and stylish, we felt right at home. The bed are very conformable and very clean and the bathrooms were amazingly clean. Gigi was very helpful with her instructions. Through out my trip to Cali, this was the only Airbnb that me and my friends really enjoyed the most. We even discussed to extend our vacation so we can relax and enjoy the Egyptian style and the outdoor patio and the garden. The living was amazingly comfortable and relaxing.

Mattie and Teresa's place was great! Super clean, nicely located, tons of amenities. We really enjoyed our time here!

Mattie and Teresa’s place was fabulous. It was a perfect place for my family and kids. The host was very accommodating and we enjoyed the little yet simple touches that were included with the home. For example, really grateful for the toothbrushes provided as we had forgotten ours in one the bags at home. The home also included board games and puzzles which were very convenient for entertaining the kids. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in the area. Thank you for sharing this home.
