Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kern River

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool was a major highlight—absolutely perfect for the kids to enjoy and cool off in during the day. It made our trip so relaxing and fun. The neighborhood was peaceful and the check-in process was smooth and easy. Thank you for being such a great host—we’d definitely love to come back!

Barbara was a great host. Her house was a nice, comfortable stay. The house was clean and cozy. It's located about 5 minutes from Kernville and is much more affordable. It is definitely a bang for your buck location. Thank you Barbara for hosting such a nice Airbnb. We look forward to using your location in the future.

Staying at Kermit's was like staying at my old grandparents' home. It was cozy, welcoming, homey, and it had absolutely everything we needed to cook great meals, spend time together, and have a blast doing so. The kitchen was well stocked, the grill was prepared and ready to go, the lights on the patio at night were wonderful, and the backyard had plenty for us to do. I have spent more money on Airbnbs for less than our stay at Kermit's, and I am happy to say that I would gladly spend a trip at Kermit's again!

It was very clean. The sunroom was great entertainment for the kids but it is a very hot room. no central air. I would stay here again.

The house was perfect for our extended family to stay together for my daughter’s wedding. The layout was terrific; we all had our own space. My son and granddaughter had time to enjoy the pool and the clubhouse restaurant was within walking distance for a hot breakfast. The house and some items are dated, but everything was clean and adequately supplied.

Absolutely fabulous GEM! Mike and Diana clearly love this place and take care of it as their home. All the rooms and bathrooms are sweetly designed and perfectly appointed for guests' comfort and enjoyment. The clean and modern kitchen has everything I needed for cooking and baking. Cleaning supplies are well stocked and all the other consumables for the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms are generously supplied. The property is expansive, quiet, and private. If you like, it's easy to leave the fence line and wander the BLM land. And if you don't want to wander far, it's easy to find your own quiet retreat spot right on the property. Treasure this place! We had a wonderful stay at the house! Karl was an exceptionally friendly host, and we especially liked the lovely green space in front. The home was thoughtfully set up, with plenty of dishware and lots of luggage stands (sometimes it's the little things!). We made use of the pack and play and all the bedrooms, it was so nice to be able to relax there at the end of the day. Thank you for making our family trip a bit more restful.

Sara is a great host, she was very responsive and transparent for the entirety of our stay. The house itself was very cozy and welcoming. Everything about the house accommodated the needs for anyone planning to cook, stay out and rest, sleep at just over night or anything else

Lilly and Jon are great hosts. Their ranch is absolutely stunning and something very special to experience. The nearby rolling hills and animals that you can interact with are priceless on their own. The amount of space you get is well worth the money. There is a bedroom with a king bed, entirely separate living room that has a sofa sleeper, coffee bar, and large bathroom. There is also an outdoor kitchen area that has more than you need for a short stay. I used to clean hotels and have a high standard of what clean looks like and I can honestly say I’ve never stayed somewhere that felt so clean which I was not expecting for a ranch stay. Looking forward to finding time to go back for another stay!

We absolutely loved staying at Shannon’s place. Our trip was to visit some friends that live locally in Kingsburg and see their son graduate highschool. We bought the kids with us and made it a mini family vacation. The location was not too far and located in such a peaceful and beautiful location, in the middle of a vineyard (check mark for mom) The pool and basketball hoop was just what we needed to keep our kids busy (check mark for the kids). The house is spacious and feels very homey. We will be coming back to visit our friends and will definitely be renting Shannon’s place for each of our visits.

We take a trip every year, mainly looking for something spacious, calm, and with a pool!! This was beyond perfect. We loved the amenities in the home and our swim time was great! How could we not love the park right in the backyard of the home? It was amazing!! I’m so glad we were able to stumble on this little gem! We will be back soon!!! Don’t hesitate!! BOOK!! Especially if you have littles!!!

Juan was an excellent host and accommodated us with anything we requested. It's a beautiful home in a nice and private area. The hot tub and games for the kids, were our favorite.

Great place for our mini vacation. The pool was beautiful and the area is quiet. We enjoyed the play room when we had some down time. The living room was spacious and comfortable. Showers had amazing water pressure and got nice and hot. Would definitely rent again if we end up back in the area.

Had an amazing time at Johann’s Airbnb! The place looked exactly like the photos and the host was very quick to respond to any questions. Beautiful location that was both peaceful and private. Would highly recommend!

Loved this home!!! It was beautiful and loved the design touches inside and out. Every room was super clean, the master bedroom had the most comfortable bed, and it was perfect for our little family plus two doggies. Thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay in the Aframe house. It was more than we expected. Beautiful views & perfect place to stay for sequoia national park. The only thing I regret is not staying longer! Highly recommend

We visit Kernville one to two times a a year. This was my favorite place so far out of the places my family and I have stayed. We have a family of 5 (3 kids) and they absolutely had a blast, plenty of games and activities for them to do at the house including swimming. We also had some friends and family visit us and the place was great for entertaining guests. I highly recommend staying here the host is very responsive and friendly.
