I had the opportunity to meet Denise and was delighted. She is friendly and helpful. The rooms were as described, comfortable and very clean. I didn't check before hand, but the heatung and A/C is set upstairs and you're unable to adjust it downstairs. It stays a fairly comfortable temperature thoguh and there is a portable fan in the bedroom.

Angela had a beautiful home to share with us that was perfect for our Drake Stadium weekend of Iowa State Track and Field. The fact that we could walk there sealed the deal. The yard was nice and we could have had a fire but didn't because we were too busy. Beaverdale area is always awesome! There were all the amenities that we needed and our host was awesome and responsive!
