Stone and Thistle Farm is an ideal escape from the city or and a perfect destination for any farm-curious animal lover. The private suite is lovely in an idyllic setting surrounded by green rolling hills, populated by a menagerie of farm animals- who you’ll meet and learn about on the farm tour. Denise has a beautiful approach to raising livestock and shares the experience with guests. The bathroom is newly renovated and the bed is remarkably comfortable memory foam. Great restaurants in Oneonta and Delhi are just 20 minutes away. Denise gave us excellent recommendations. We can’t wait to go back.

What a lovey place to stay! You can’t beat the location and the hosts went above and beyond making such a creative space. Make sure you read the description. There isn’t a tv and the windows make it bright in the morning but we loved it all the more for it. I wish we could have stayed longer and if we are coming back through we will definitely stay again! Host was great and super helpful. We walked down to Dots for breakfast in the morning and truly enjoyed our time in Wilmington.

Excellent location, one block from the main drag, Warren Street. Very quiet street. The space itself was huge and had all the extra touches to make it wonderful. Aesthetically, it was also beautiful. As stated, no full kitchen, so no surprise there. But there was a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and full glass/barware. Very happy with this choice!

Our stay at Majestic Studio was fantastic. We had a great time, we were able to explore around the property and enjoy the creek, as well as get some peaceful rest. It is a great place to get away from the city. The place is cozy, clean and well stacked with all the kitchen items we needed to prepare meals. I highly recommend the Majestic studio. Jen and Frank were great hosts, communicated often and made sure to provide us with all the instructions and information we needed. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Jen and Frank.

Nicole and Dan were wonderful hosts! They are proactive and responsive, checking in to see if anything was needed. Regarding the place, it’s exactly as advertised and spotless. Another highlight of this place is its location. It is walkable to the downtown area where a lot of restaurants and stores are located. I highly recommend!

cozy like home, very clean

Sandy was great. The place was clean. I underestimated the size of the place for the length of time we stayed. We stayed a whole month and it was very small for my husband and I. It’s a good place to stay for a weekend or even a week. Otherwise the place was good. Private and clean

Only negative to this stay is that it was only For one night. Can’t wait to come back and make more of it… attention to detail and little added extras are hard to come by these days and Jackie does not disappoint. Clean, comfy, easy check in and out, detailed instructions, great recommendations! Thanks again, can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

I surprised my husband with a surprise weekend in NYC. Ms. Joy’s made us feel right at home her space was very clean and cozy it had everything we needed. I appreciate Ms. Joy for her excellent communication and clear instructions. I will definitely book with her again.

Aditya’s place is very clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. It’s located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with convenient parking, which is a nice bonus. Aditya is incredibly friendly and welcoming; her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the start, and she is very easy to communicate with. Harun was very nice, communicative, and responsive. The space was perfect for two people for a couple of days. Peaceful with a sweet patio on the side where we enjoyed our lunch. The off street parking was also helpful.

Wayne and Olga were incredibly responsive and welcoming hosts. Their home is absolutely beautiful. The place was bigger than it looked in the pictures and everything was spotless! They went above and beyond to make our stay special, leaving local restaurant recommendations since we were new to the area. I mentioned that my fiancé and I were celebrating his birthday, and they surprised us with Happy Birthday playing on the TV and a balloon waiting for us when we arrived. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch! This was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. We felt right at home and would definitely love to visit again. I’ve stayed at many Airbnb. David’s place has the best stocked kitchen hands down. I loved all the coffee and tea options. There’s also a fridge full of wine. Checking out the snack basket was fun too. David also has a huge record album collection, a surround sound audio system and a huge TV in the living room and bedroom. All of which makes it fun to stay inside, explore and relax. The basement apartment is down the hill with 10-12 stone steps. David offered to help unload our car. If you have mobility issues, the steps could be a challenge. The bathroom door is warped and doesn’t close. If you require privacy, that might bother you. All in all, David’s place is rustic and cozy. David himself is a kind host. The area is green and beautiful. I didn’t get a chance to fish in the lake across the street though I read it’s quite nice. Burlington VT is a nice one hour road trip. Lots of hiking trails nearby if you prefer something closer.

Robert's place was fantastic for my wife and I. The place was easy to get to from JFK. The surroundings were peaceful and the neighborhood has a lot to eat. I would definitely stay here again!

I was really impressed with how it felt like home and how I immediately felt comfortable. The fresh fruit was a HUGE comfort. Being able to relax in the tub after a long weekend of sight seeing was also a HUGE plus! I didn't mind the extra drive in and out of the city and the ride was so beautiful!

Liz was an absolutely stellar host! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. She provided thoughtful local recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails—every one we tried was a hit. The property itself is a gem: secluded enough for peace and privacy, yet conveniently close to major roads, making day trips and excursions easy. The backyard leading straight to the river was a highlight—perfect for relaxing or exploring. Whether you’re traveling with dogs or without, I highly, highly recommend staying here. This was a first time for my partner to NY and we chose to stay out of manhattan. I loved that this place was super close to the L train subway station which made it great and so easy to get around. Merlberg was super helpful in recommendations and helpful advice. The neighbourhood felt safe and the house was lovely.

Beautiful basement apartment with high end kitchen, bathroom, linens etc. Comfortable, private and quiet which was just what we needed after a long day of driving. Good natural light from two large windows overlooking the large backyard with gorgeous perennial gardens. We were only there for one night so did not get to try the sauna. Highly recommend.

Super comfortable, clean and beautiful house. Gracious hosts and a perfect weekend getaway location. My friends and I really enjoyed the amenities including the heated pool, Barbeque, etc. We also spent a beautiful day out doing the Kaaterskills waterfall trek. Loved our stay, definitely worth it!
