Recently updated property with renovations matching the photos. They also update two Victorian houses in the front of the property that were updated and used as rooms. Price was great and mostly everything matched the photos on the site and google. For the price it was a great stay.

We loved our stay at the Palmer House. The room was clean and had all of the amenities listed. There were many restaurants in the area and lots of shopping nearby. It was the perfect room for our needs for a weekend in Manchester. We would definitely stay here again.

The Palmer House Resort was a great place to stay for my ski weekend in southern VT. We drove about 20 minutes each to Magic Mountain one day and Stratton the next, and while I wouldn't call this a luxury resort, it was a fantastic alternative to staying at a ski resort in terms of value. The staff were very polite and accommodating, the rooms were clean and as advertised, and we enjoyed being within walking distance to bars and restaurants in Manchester. We were also pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast. I'd happily stay here again.

It was truly awesome to see a well done renovation of a 1950’s motel. The host and reception folks were outstanding. We had fun playing golf and sitting around the fire pit. Loved the place

We had a wonderful stay here at the Sundowner. We were very impressed by the cabin-like interior and it was nice and toasty when we arrived. The bed was hard to leave in the morning, it was so comfy. 100% will be back !!!

This listing was the perfect escape that we were looking for. The view was breathtaking, the room was clean and we loved the coffee and pastry in the morning. We can’t wait to return once the weather gets a little bit nicer and visit again when we need a little getaway.

Lovely place. As other reviews have mentioned this is a (beautifully updated) motel so there is a little noise from neighbors and it’s not the most private but that was clearly noted in the description. The space was lovely, decorated in a cabin theme, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. The main streets of Lake George are walkable, and there was a pool and hot tub (we didn’t have time to use). Overall a great deal for a last minute fall foliage trip. Robert was responsive and friendly as well. Thank you!

Stay here! My mom and I stopped in Lake George for a night on our way to Montreal and had a fantastic stay at the Sundowner. The place was great, clean, and comfortable. Right on the lake. Extremely responsive host. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of parking. Close to the cute little downtown. Highly recommend!

Slope side at Jiminy Peak was great! Unit 437 was in a quiet location & same floor as the restaurant. We would 100% stay again to ski beautiful Jiminy Peak which has night skiing until 10pm. We were able to check in especially early for our midweek stay, which was fantastic! The only negative was the early check out time of 10:30. I wish check out was the standard 11am time of most hotels. The unit was clean with comfortable beds, a small but complete kitchen with coffee, stove top, dishwasher and cookware. All the staff we encountered were very friendly.

Me and my spouse came here for our anniversary getaway let me just say how awesome Robert’s place is. Looks just like the pictures and was so cozy, felt like we were in a private cabin in the woods somewhere. We especially loved the fireplace in the living room, only thing I would recommend is some black out curtains as the curtains a bit see through for privacy and also maybe a little more dusting in certain areas such as the ceiling fan and light fixtures. Other than that place was super clean and very comfortable. Robert was fast and responsive to us and very accommodating. Also his place is one of the only places in Lake George to have the pool and jacuzzi open this time of the year which was a nice touch. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again! Thanks Robert!

An amazing stay. We checked in super late night, wish we could have checked in early and spent evening there. The place was cozy and as described in the post. Recommended for a relaxing break. will definitely book again if possible.

Not much to say but just great Maxx was always responsive! The location was promised and clean as he promised!

It was a wonderful stay in Megan’s apartment! Location is superb and the whole stay was wonderful. Would recommend and stay there again.

The house is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The house had everything we could have needed. The kitchen was beyond incredible!! Fridge was full stocked as well. Bedrooms were clean as well, Could not ask for a better house!!!

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment at Jackson Gore Adam House with our two kids, and it couldn’t have been more comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. Being right on the mountain was a huge advantage, especially since we were only there for a long weekend. With the cold, snowy, and windy weather, it was incredibly convenient not having to deal with the car in the mornings. Plus, having our car safely parked in the garage was an added bonus. Would recommend.
