Guesthouse vacation rentals in Hudson River

A wonderful ski weekend! We spent two nights and spent the day (Saturday) skiing at Killington. Quiet drive there and back so it was a perfect location to come back to a peaceful evening. Hot tub was amazing after skiing and very clean! Laura and Aaron were very helpful and let us know the conditions of the roads prior to our arrival. Flexible, kind and friendly! Would stay again for sure.

Our band travels up to play in Long Island twice a year. Liz's place was a great, affordable place for us to spend the weekend. We had everything we needed. And, the location was not just close to lots of great restaurants and coffee shops (which we love) but also close to the event that were booked to play. Our band would very much like to stay there again :)

We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House very much. Jennifer is a great host - very attentive with excellent communication.

Dave is such a kind and welcoming host! He is great with communication. The place is such a nice and cozy space to relax and enjoy the nature around you. I used fire pit for both nights I was there and it was so peaceful to sit by while hearing the water from the brook. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

A perfect private little get away. Exactly as described. If you want peace and quiet in the woods, this the place for you. Close to hiking trails too! Also a very short drive to town. Less than 5 minutes. Thomas was very responsive and had lots of recommendations. Would definitely come back.

I will book again and again. The comfort of the bed and shower was fantastic. The appliances were updated and I will recommend this little piece of solitude Heaven. It’s like a wee nature refuge and Perfect location. The hosts were attentive and kind. A million thanks!

My GPS gave me a slight hassle, even though I was coming in from not far away…it was after dark. Ann was wonderful with responding quickly to help me find my way in! No trouble at all, just one glitch with the shower but again, it was handled quite prompt and effectively. Thanks Ann!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb in Woodstock. Joni was very attentive and gave recommendations when asked. Her home was very welcoming and had plenty of amenities. All dining experiences are within walking distance which was a huge plus. Walking trails are all within a reasonable driving distance. It truly was a beautiful experience all around and we hope to be back again soon.

Jane's pool house was perfect for what I needed...It was quiet and calm and cozy and in beautiful surroundings...It was very private. Jane is also a great host...she really went out of her way to make it feel like it was MY place to stay with a very warm welcome.

Great quiet place to relax and be around nature

This place was a perfect weekend get away for myself and husband. Plenty of space for the two of us. The place was nicely, decorated and fully furnished with accessories if you wish to cook. I enjoyed the spaces between the outside patio as well as the hot tub. Bill was great with giving suggestions of local places, even though I was a local myself.. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

Absolutely adorable. Loved it the minute we drove up the hill. Exterior/interior pictures were perfect and accurate. Was rainy so the gas fireplace provided a nice touch when relaxing after trip. The sheets on bed were sooo soft & lovely. Kitchen & bathroom area well stocked. Lucia provided outstanding communication prior & during stay. Instruction book provided any addition info. Loved the recommendations….(Barley Creek Brewing Co. was excellent for casual dinner !!) …..Special little spot….We loved it.

This place is quiet and very private, as someone in the area for work this is exactly what I am looking for. I work night shift and the host was understanding about odd sleeping hours and adjusted check out time for me. Wonderful all around, will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this little cottage. The place was clean, easy to find, and was nicely furnished. One thing to be aware of is that the bathroom and the sleeping area are on different floors. If you are nervous about going up and down stairs in the middle of the night, this probably is not the right place for you even though it is a very nice place.

We had an amazing stay at Kristin and Dave’s cottage and cannot wait to return. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, and supremely comfortable. Both Kristin and Dave were very responsive, extremely helpful, and provided great instructions and assistance. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The outdoor space was such a nice option, and the porch and pool were so nice to relax in. We wholeheartedly recommend the cottage!

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at Jordin's Tiny house. Everything was absolutely perfect. We had plenty of privacy. The porch area and sauna were spectacular!!! Even the blankets outside smelled clean and new. Jordin thinks of everything to make you as comfortable as possible. Jordin even left us maple candies and local maple syrup as a gift!! The Tiny House itself is beautiful, clean, smells heavenly, and sooo cozy!! We will definitely be visiting this Tiny oasis again. The property was easy to get to and in a very convenient location to access multiple towns/restaurants/things to do. You are no more than a 20 ish minute drive to multiple other cute little towns. The barrel sauna was incredibly relaxing. The covered patio was perfect when it rained. We were still able to enjoy being outside. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

Nice ground floor apartment across the street from the beach and 2 blocks from the state park. Love the outdoors. And Delores and her brother were amazing. Friendly, responsive, and helpful.

Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The guest house feels like you’re sleeping in a serene and quiet forest. It’s also minutes away from great food and cute shops so you get the best of both worlds. We would stay here again.

We loved John & Anne’s place. It was cozy, warm and perfect for our getaway. We appreciated the responsiveness, ease of communication and clear, easy to follow instructions. The fireplace, hot tub and all the extra touches with the local treats made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved my stay at the corn crib. It was a beautiful, cozy, and inviting studio with lots of natural light. Veronika was communicative, check in and check out were easy and very reasonable. Pros: Easy to find, safe area, easy check in, clean space, warm, comfortable, great host. Also location was great. Its approximately 5-8 minutes from everything we needed near Princeton, so very convenient but you still get to feel like you're in a quiet remote area. Cons: Veronika mentions in her guidebook that the water heater is small and provides tips on how to use it but even following all the tips, you only get a solid 7 minutes of hot water in the shower before it turned cold so you need to take really quick showers :( Other than that, everything was perfect

The cottage is beautiful and such a surprise when you open the front door - the magical stream is right out the window. Although the cottage is close to the road you would never know it - the back patio is just perfect!! An easy drive to a a number of small and lovely quintessentially New England villages. We would highly recommend Jeff and Elizabeth's cottage!

We loved the cottage. If anything it was even cuter in person than in the pictures. Communication was perfect and the place was very well thought out. We enjoyed our stay, I’d recommend it and come back here in the future!

We had such a great long stay at Sarah and Chris's place, mostly skiing but also hiking and touring. The apartment is better than the photos, and the beds and furniture are very comfy. We ended up cooking quite a bit, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped for our needs. We loved having great food shopping minutes away and we also took advantage of the nearby spa. Sarah and Chris were very helpful and made sure all was good with our stay. It was perfect! We hope to return again.

My boyfriend and I fell in love with this place as soon as we opened the door. It's quaint, tasteful, and very well cared for. We had absolutely no issues during our stay, and not a single complaint. The perfect getaway to clear your mind and rest, or work on a small craft, or learn something new by picking up one of the many beautiful books they have available to guests of the loft. There are also pamphlets available for things to do in the area if you are looking to explore, eat, or shop. Do yourself a favor and experience the magic of this loft for yourself!
