Chalet vacation rentals in Hudson River

My wife and I enjoyed our winter anniversary stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy. We enjoyed time by the fire place, free streaming services, and the Keurig(bring bottled water for coffee). The area around the cabin was very walkable in a development with two lakes. It was close to amenities like Walmart (we had to purchase wash clothes and firewood), the interstate and food. We recommend to bring your own pillow if you like them soft. The water pressure was fine in the kitchen but low in the bathroom. Jessica was easily reached to work out any questions. If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable cabin close to everything, stay with Jessica. We would stay again.

Second time staying and it was better than the first time. Totally recommend and will definitely be going back for our annual ski trip. If it’s available of course!

Pictures don’t do Bobs house justice, so much space for a big group, really well kept and lovely cosy and rustic feel. Loved the games room, hot tub and how isolated it was from surrounding properties. Bob was a great host - gave plenty of instructions and super responsive. No complaints!

Janie's place was an absolute dream. The chalet was very cute - the perfect place for my fiance, son, and me to stay for our 2 day trip to ski/snowboard at Killington. I was injured the first day on the mountain so had to stay at the chalet on the 2nd day and it was so serene and peaceful. The snow in the surrounding area was an added beauty. The chalet overlooks Janie's beautiful log home next door. The inside of the chalet is just as it looks in pictures - very cozy. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked. The stairs and rooms upstairs are very cool. Don't hesitate if you want a unique experience. Janie was very responsive during our stay. Thanks so much Janie!

They were awesome. Answered every question I had within 10 minutes of reaching out. I messed up and I’ll admit it but I hope everything goes well in the future for Don and Karen. They are amazing hosts

My family and I had a very nice time at the home which we booked in order to ski at Camelback and Shawnee Mountain. 20 min away from both locations. Javier and Mariela were great with communication. Checking in with us to make sure we were having a good time and if we needed anything. Overall great home. Clean and cozy. Thank you for a seamless experience.

Falcon House Chalet is a beautiful home in a stunning setting. Matt and Kat were fabulous hosts, responsive, friendly and professional. Matt cleared the driveway and walkways of snow as needed and gave our group wonderful hike recommendations. The chalet is a woodworkers dream with beautiful wood throughout the home. The wooden spiral staircases are easy to maneuver and attractive too. The main level bedroom is quite small but quiet and private. The upstairs main bedroom is open to the den but we really could not see anyone up there. If you prefer a door, there is not one. The lower level has a nice futon, TV and quiet environment. There is a washer and dryer which is very helpful with the hiking and snow shoeing. The outdoor sauna is a must if you can run quickly through the snow! There are so many positives that I could continue to write. If you visit, I wrote detailed noted in the guest book that would be helpful.

Rita’s chalet is really clean and the view around it is amazon. The place is well stocked with games for fun and firewoods for warmth. Upon request, Rita was able to accommodate our late checkout request with a reasonable surcharge. We have enjoyed our stay at Rita’s place and would definitely come back next time when we are around

We booked Mary Jane's house very last minute after our prior accommodations fell through. Mary Jane was very responsive, flexible & helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub, the strong water pressure in the showers (the downstairs one is adjustable height and my tall friend really enjoyed that), the airy and sunny living room, the game-room, the wood stove, & the little extras like robes and an abundance of soap, shampoo and towels. Everything functioned well. FYI, the top bunk beds are more for small children. We were there during a snowstorm and someone came to remove the snow from the driveway several times. We also used the snow sleds. The house is close to the woods and is in a very quiet location yet minutes from i-87. All in all, a wonderful stay that really saved our weekend after we got unlucky with the prior place. Thanks to Mary Jane for accommodating us.

Our group of nine had a fantastic stay at Danielle and Ben's place! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, well-accommodated and had everything we needed for a seamless stay. Lovely stay with family and friends. The host went out of his way to ensure our arrival was smooth, even with a very icy driveway and up to two inches of snow falling. The space is beautiful, secluded and serene. But also close to restaurants in Mt. Tremper and good hikes.

Perfect spot for our snowboarding/ski weekend. Close to the mountain, lake, restaurants..we appreciate Dinesh and this awesome house!

My wife and I stayed at Ron’s place for five nights for a winter getaway. We had a great stay, highlights include a comfortable king bed, a quiet setting, a cozy fireplace, and the large ground floor bathroom that feels like your own spa- we thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, huge bathtub, and rain shower. Ron was a great host and was very responsive with any questions we had. We spent many hours watching TV on the screen and projector set up, we grabbed more pillows from upstairs to add some more cushion to the leather couch downstairs.

Super nice place with lots of amenities. House was immaculate inside with comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. Perfectly private and situated right in between Mount Snow and the backside of Stratton Mountain. Definitely worth a stay !

We stayed at the chalet as a group of 4 families with young kids. The house was beautiful and well-maintained. All the amenities were great! Loved that we were tucked away for a private stay. Thank you!

The house was spacious, clean, beautiful and private. We loved the view of Windham Mt from the second floor! The fireplace, expansive but cozy couch and downstairs game room were a hit! Half of my family skied and half stayed at the house to relax. Being 5 minutes from the mountain was fantastic and the house was perfect. Great restaurants nearby, where we had lunch, but the rest of the time we cooked in. Well equipped open kitchen! Hope to be back many times!

We had a wonderful experience! Pamela, Jamie, and Rob were able to answer and address our questions and concerns. They were all extremely helpful and responsive. We had a problem with the fireplace and Jamie sent us detailed instructions. When we still could not get it working they came over first thing to next day to assist. They quickly realized they needed to replace a part and were back that afternoon to quickly fix the problem and we were able to enjoy the beautiful fire place the remainder of our stay without issue. They even cleared off some of the remaining ice off the driveway before they left. The house is beautiful and vast. There was space for everyone and the amenities such as the hot tub and stocked coffee bar made our stay all the more enjoyable. The kitchens were also well stocked with equipment. We made almost every meal at the house without issue. We would happily stay here again (maybe a summer trip next time to get some time on the lake).

Loved this home!! Beautiful area, good food within 15 mins. Host was fantastic & responsive. The place was absolutely beautiful & the scenery & views are stunning. Plenty of sleeping space and two full kitchen areas. Game area was fun & there are two beautiful decks to overlook the gorgeous lake the home is on! Can’t wait to book this home again during the summer season with the whole family!!

This was our second stay at The Golden Owl and it has become our favorite spot in the Poconos. Great location for winter and summer holidays, super cozy and clean home, and plenty of space for the kids and adults to hang comfortably. Highly recommend.

Alyson and Robert were amazing hosts! There was more than enough space for 7 adults and 6 kids, two dogs! (Three families altogether!) We were coming from different states, NC being the farthest, and anticipating a very long car ride. Alyson had notified us that we could do an early check-in, which definitely came in handy as we were all exhausted and our kids were ready to get out and stretch! We came during the off-season, which was still pretty amazing; however, it was extremely windy, blowing over one of the fireplace spouts on the roof. Alyson and Robert were very quick to respond and send out their handyman to fix the problem. I would recommend them to anybody with large families! We chose this home because of how pet-friendly they were and they seemed like down-to-earth people. Would love to return during the spring/summer!

Our family has stayed at Arek's house three times before this trip. The location is great. The house is at the deeper end of the lake, so you can easily swim from the shore. There are three kayaks and a rowboat to use on the lake. The deck is a great place to drink coffee in the morning and eat dinner at night. For creature comforts the beds are super comfortable and the wifi is speedy fast. We will definitely stay there again.

Place was very nice and has plenty of room for large groups. Beautiful views on the lake and the host was very communicative.

Laurie's place was just wonderful. We love historic houses with a lot of charm and carefully designed interiors with all modern comfort. The surroundings are just so peaceful and serene, so that recovery from NYC life was possible. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to cook for family members near by. All in all we had a wonderful time spend with hiking, cooking and resting. We will love to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of the lake nearby.
