Vacation rentals with a sauna in Hennepin County

My family and I selected Aaron and Colleen as hosts based on their five-star rating and safe location. However, we received more than what was expected. The first day, we were met with a personalized note, chocolates, and drinks in the fridge, including homemade cold brew! Such a thoughtful touch made us feel right at home. We were busy with family activities in the city, so we didn’t use the Peloton, hot tub, or sauna as expected. Still, returning to immaculate, extremely comfortable, stylish accommodation was lovely. The mattress was perfect! We also enjoyed listening to various records on the record player while playing cards and board games; it felt nostalgic. We enjoyed our stay, to say the least, and hope to revisit our experience at some future time.

This AirBnb was by far the nicest we've had in Minneapolis for a small space suited to minimal needs of a couple. It was as described, beautifully clean, neighborhood felt safe, and everything we needed/used worked without complications! The hosts were extremely responsive and cognizant of our private space (they live upstairs). The kitchen is small, no stove but we knew that and honestly very well supplied for our needs. Thank You so much, we'll be back..

Our family had a lovely stay of Ryan’s place over the new year. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable for our family of five to spend the week in the twin cities. Our children loved all the great board games, picture books and of course hammock. My husband and I loved the peaceful sauna in Ryan’s backyard. Thank you for being such a wonderful host!

Stayed for a work trip and was able to use a couple amenities such as the gym and in unit laundry, which was really useful and so nice to have! Also a great location for food in the North Loop. Host responded quickly to my questions

Great stay! Super convenient location and the apt had everything we needed. A little more extra paperwork/ID verification than I prefer (beyond Airbnb’s) but nothing too bad.

This property is really nice and in pristine condition. The apartment looks brand new with really nice furnishings. Nice and bright, with floor to ceiling windows. Very comfortable beds! The neighborhood looks great, with lots of cute shops and restaurants in the area. And the amenities are fantastic: we went to the game room area to go bowling, try the golf simulator, and to play air hockey. It’s a beautiful space to have access to. We didn’t use the pool/hot tub because it was closed. Check in is tricky. You have to download an app before you can gain access to the building. There are 3 connected loft buildings, and the directions don’t specify which building to go to, so it took a while to find the apartment We parked in a paid lot a few blocks away using a parking app, but it sounds like parking in the building might be available, so check on that before you book elsewhere. Once we figured out building access and parking, our experience was excellent. It’s a beautiful property.

We had an amazing time! This was our Easter break trip with our kids. The house was able to fit our whole family comfortably. We enjoyed all of the amenities they had like the hot tub, sauna, game room, workout room, and project screen for movies. We even arrived to a welcome basket which was very sweet. It was very close to the Mall of America which was our primary place we wanted to visit. There was also stores and restaurants not too far away either. We loved everything and would love to come back.

Walked to Lake Harriet, coffee shops, vintage and new shops, so much to do! Street parking easily fit our cars. Local restaurants nearby that get great reviews. Walking to restaurants is so doable. Tried the Red Cow and the Mexican Cantina, would go back to both. Great weekend spent with old friends, and Maria’s place was the perfect place to stay.

Wow! A place with lots of real plants! Amazing! Rare to find in my 15 years of travel. Makes such a difference in the energy of a space. House looks newly redone, Megan did a fabulous job! Beds and couch are comfy and bathtub works great for baths, which I love. Nice and wide tub. Sauna and cold plunge were fun!

House was perfect for our extended family to gather. Had lots of comfortable spaces for People to hang out and talk and play and eat. We were gathering for memorial service and Laura very kindly and appropriately mentioned this.

We were in Minneapolis to celebrate my son’s graduation from the University of Minnesota and were traveling as a large family. While searching for accommodations, my brother-in-law came across Damian’s home and immediately knew it was the perfect fit—and he was absolutely right. The home was charming, beautifully maintained, and full of character. Damian provided detailed, accurate instructions and was incredibly responsive and helpful with all our questions. The space was perfect for gathering, and we made wonderful memories together, including a barbecue evening that brought the whole family together. If you're visiting Minneapolis and are looking for a warm, vintage-inspired stay with scenic surroundings, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Thank you, Damian, for being such a gracious host!

Complete nostalgia with a modern twist, the vibe really took me back to my childhood in the best of ways. And the sauna was the best!! 💯 percent recommend!!

Had a great stay, easy to get settled in right away. Nice and clean, loved the fire place and extra blankets to use on those chilly nights. We had a little trouble with the sauna and they sent maintance come out that day and address. They were able to fix it and we great appreciated that. Was very nice stay visiting our family and friends in the area.

We stayed at Martha’s place while our home was being remodeled and we were so thankful for our time there! The outdoor space was beautiful—peaceful and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved spending time by the creek and exploring the trails to Medicine Lake Park, and ending the day with some time in the sauna. The whole vibe of the place was just what we needed—quiet, quirky, cozy, and surrounded by nature. We stayed with 3 kids and they loved the wooden slide, all the books, the swing chairs, and the big yard. Martha was a wonderful host—friendly and easy to communicate with. It was a joy to get to know her throughout our stay. We would recommend!
