We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect for us - we were able to easily explore Hilo and get to the Volcanoes National Park too. Very quiet and peaceful area, felt very safe here as well. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others!

Ocean Front-Best Hilo Swim Lagoons. Sleeps 12.

JoelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our family had a great stay at Richard's house. For our purposes, the location was a 10/10. The upstairs bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable and the kitchen and living room were very spacious with great views - the downstairs rooms were showing their age a bit, but still very serviceable. The swimming lagoon across the street was full of green sea turtles/honu and colorful reef fish - great for young children to splash around in! Our host was quick to respond to address our requests and we appreciated the use of the paddleboard, snorkel gear, and bodyboards. Normal amounts of outside noise (coqui frogs, roosters, folks using the public parks nearby) but nothing intrusive. Would definitely stay again!

Hale Hibiscus

MarynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay at Hale Hibiscus bc it’s a nice, bright clean space with lots of windows and it has a nice lawn area to the side. There is a sweet Golden Retriever who lives on the property next-door and she came and said hi. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The property is approximately a 15 min walk to the restaurants, but you will pass by a number of unhoused individuals as you enter the town. Might not be a great idea to walk after dark. If we travel to Hilo in the future we would love to stay there again!

Enchanted Volcano Forest Escape 3BDRM Rental House

StephenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Lucky to grab this location for a few days. Accommodations were great for three parties of folks. Especially great one couple could bring their dog. Unfortunately, we missed the volcano eruptions, which started the day we checked out for home. They seemed to have everything you might need and super cozy, including the reclining couch sections were comfortable enough to sleep in!!

Villa Paraiso Hawaii Huge Pool & Hot Tub. Up to 12

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful home with just a short walk to Maku'u Point, which we took frequently. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed daily and the kitchen was nice and big to fit our big family. It was our own private paradise. We also appreciated that the house included sustainable features, like solar panels and rain water use. We couldn't have asked for a better experience on the big island. Made our time there very memorable.
