Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hawaii County

The place was perfect for our visit to the volcano national park. The house was lovely exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. And there was everything we could need for our stay. We enjoyed sitting on covered Lani in the morning and evening

We really enjoyed our stay at this sweet little hale. The first thing we noticed when walking in the door is that the photos really don't do the place justice–it's much nicer in person that some of the photos suggest. The home was also exceptionally well appointed, the beds were super comfortable, it's private, and in a very sweet little neighborhood. Plus, Volcano National Park was just a quick car drive away. The host was very responsive and friendly, and it's evident that they put a lot of thought into making the home a really comfortable place for travelers. Will definitely try to stay here again when we come back to the Big Island!

Lucky to grab this location for a few days. Accommodations were great for three parties of folks. Especially great one couple could bring their dog. Unfortunately, we missed the volcano eruptions, which started the day we checked out for home. They seemed to have everything you might need and super cozy, including the reclining couch sections were comfortable enough to sleep in!!

Home was clean and hosts were very helpful and kind. Driveway is a little difficult to find the first time since it’s a bit hidden by foliage, but it’s very peaceful and quiet. The tile floors are cold, so bring warm socks! Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Everything was as described. We had no issues finding the place, checking in or out. Everything was easily identified. Everything was clean, organized, and not “cheap”. Sometimes you get some Airbnb that use cheaper stuff (plates, cutlery, cups etc) but these cups were clean and legit. It’s small things like this that are appreciated. Beds are comfy, patio is comfortable. Locations: short drive to gas and small local market. Short drive to volcano and hikes etc. Great base camp for the area.

We came to Big Island to enjoy calm and recharge. Eliot's place offers just like that as his house is spacious and plenty of space between properties with peaceful surroundings. because the home sits in a large ground in suburb of Hilo. Downtown Pahoa is close so you can dine out and get shopping done easily if you want. Eliot is kind and smart owner to take care of home and our needs. He was always responsive and come back with a solution for our questions.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Puna Rainforest Retreat Hotspring is truly one of the most beautiful Airbnb properties I’ve ever stayed at. Nestled in the lush rainforest, the property features stunning orchards, a thriving vegetable garden, and a serene trail that made our stay feel like a true escape into nature. Our host, Jacklyn, has clearly poured a lot of love and care into maintaining this special place. She was incredibly warm and welcoming, generously offering us fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the farm. It was such a unique and thoughtful touch that made our experience even more memorable. Our whole family had a wonderful time here, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the natural beauty of the property. If we return to the Big Island, there’s no question—we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical and relaxing getaway.

Sally's place did not disappoint--we so enjoyed being tucked away on the Big Island. There were plenty of nearby hikes and outdoor activities. It was also incredibly easy to just stay put and relax. We used the spot to get around to various locations on the island. We also had no issues driving back at night. Super great touches we appreciated, like having water shoes, snorkeling gear, and a cooler (all things we ended up using!). Appreciated the flexibility using the shared laundry machines. Sally also proactively offered a later check out on our last day since there was no on checking in. We hadn't planned on lingering, but ended up spending a little more time with our coffee next to the pond that morning!

Perfect spot to stay if you’re looking to be close to the park! Loved the cozy beds and the hot tub. Plenty of space for a group of 4 adults.

Anastasiya was very friendly and responded quickly. The condo was the perfect location for our vacation and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the golf course. It was easy to get in and out and the assigned parking was well located and convenient. I also loved the amenities like the washer dryer dishwasher etc. Overall this was an excellent experience from start to finish.
