This lovely lake house met our expectations and I think it would be a great option for a stay in this area. During our stay, there was an emergency (not related to the house) where we had to get local law enforcement involved and we appreciated how responsive and helpful our host was in these difficult circumstances.

My husband and I stayed at Heather’s place to attend a wedding in DFW. We loved the space and our stay! We enjoyed the amenities, including the pool, hot tub, and smart TVs. We also appreciated it was dog-friendly and brought along our 2 doggos. 10/10 would recommend and stay at Heather’s place again!

Grapevine Lake Retreat Cottage

My wife and I hosted our family at Maria's place between Christmas and New Years. Six adults, a toddler and two infants. All of us greatly enjoyed the home, the back yard, and the wonderful area the home is located - including a sandy beach on a lake just a couple minutes walk away. Great stocked kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Super layout for our family, with each of the three adult couples having their own bathroom to utilize. The living room has a large TV, seating for at least seven, & a great wood burning fireplace. Off the back of the home is an amazingly beautiful screened in porch with a dining area as well as a sectional. The backyard is amazing...awesome fire pit, lots of open lawn area, and a great trampoline. Maria has a chicken coop near the back corner of the lot - our 2 1/2 yr old grandson loved watching the chickens and retrieving fresh, delicious eggs each day. We are experienced Airbnb'rs and this is one of the best, most comfortable homes we have ever stayed.

It was a great peaceful weekend. Next to an RV park that was quiet. It’s about 5 minutes from a really nice lake park and a gas station. The trailer itself has trees around it for privacy as well as a gate for safe parking. The blinds on the windows can keep all sunlight out if you’d like. The inside is very up to date with its appliances and kitchenware. The shower stayed nice and hot and it has 2 loft beds. All the mirrors add to a unique aesthetic. They have 2 Rokus already there and set up with mostly everything already logged into. The dumpster was emptied while we were there and it’s very convenient. The front door has a good locking feature that a lot of trailers don’t. A combo washer dryer was really nice. Overall this was the best air BNB experience I’ve had. Would for sure come again.
